I stopped in here to get a Thai massage and they were very convenient to book with. The place is quaint and the windows brought in lots of light, there were no sleazy curtains or fluorescent lights in the window, so I felt safe. The girl who massaged me was sweet and she did a good job and she had strong hands. Unfortunate half way through my massage which I thought I was in a private room, someone else joined and was on the other side of a curtain. I wouldn't mind that normally if I had clothes on, but I was disrobed under a sheet. The curtain didn't shut all the way and when I got up to put my clothes on, I could literally see the people next to me, which means they could see me too... naked. It wasn't the end of the world, I just really like my privacy when it comes to these things. I found this place on Yelp and was drawn by their reviews. I called twice and asked if they take a walk in. They said they do. The woman on the phone was nice. I came in and paid in advance and even gave a $20 tip in advance. Before I got settled in, I went to the bathroom and passed by the traditional Thai massage room. I asked if I can get. Massage in that room (because it was a solo room) and they told me no (because you have to make an appointment for that). There was no one else waiting for a massage and the room was free. And when I called earlier they told me I didn't need an appointment. Um...okay. Anyway when I got to my room, Emma was my masseuse. She was doing a great job. After about 15 minutes into my massage, a woman came in and spoke to my masseuse in their language. Shortly after I heard the woman say "ok go ahead and change" and I realized she was speaking to another client. When the client replied, I realized he was a man. The masseuse next to us was only divided by a curtain. Meaning to say this place pairs male and female clients (and in my case STRANGERS). The privacy and lack of dignity to their clients immediately shut me off. I understand this was was not Emma's fault but I told her to get my shirt and I wanted to change and leave quietly. I went to the front desk and I asked them if this is how they mix their clients. She said "no that room is for couples" I told her firmly that that man is not my husband he is a complete stranger. The front desk woman apologized and tried to offer me an extra 30 minutes. No! I won't take that! I honestly want my money back and I want whoever is the manager to apologize to me (some of the workers didn't even speak English). I will never ever go back. Please watch out ladies. If you're looking for a relaxing massage, this is NOT the place you want to go. I called in the am to schedule an appointment and when I got there, I had several red flags, but ignored them. Look, I've been getting massages for 15 years and have never had an experience like that. I kept waiting for the actual massaging to start. I understand this was a "Thai" massage and stretching is incorporated but she was pushing on the muscles perpendicular in my upper back and literally shaking the whole table when she moved my joints. It had the sophistication of a 10 year old. Lotion wasn't used until the last 10 minutes of my hour massage, so she was pulling the skin incorrectly. I asked her to push into my body softer because it was hurting, she listened for awhile and then went back to the same pressure. I honestly have no idea how anyone would find that relaxing. Only giving 2 stars because maybe I should have know it would be nothing like a Swedish massage. read more

Interesting experience. I hope they read their reviews and learn from my comments. First of all we called and booked a couples massage and when we got there the people who arrived right before us said they also booked for 2 but when they called apparently the guy didn't say that to the receptionist as they only had him down for 1. They only have one couples room and since they were ahead of us they let them have it. Not their fault and I believe the guy just called and booked a massage for 3pm and it's not the place's fault as I know they shouldn't argue with customers. I get that and don't blame them at all even though it was a huge bummer. Fast forward to my massage. It begins and a few minutes in the lady leaves my room because a man walks into the shop. She leaves my door open as she talks to him then comes back to continue my massage (door is still open). Then the phone rings. She lets it ring for awhile and then says sorry and goes to answer it. She talks out at the front desk then returns to massage me more. Then a few minutes later the phone rings again, she leaves my room again to answer the phone and this time brings it into my room (door is still open and I can see the people sitting in the waiting room from my massage table which means they could see me laying there). She continues my massage, by the way I got a 60 minute massage, and the phone rings again. This time she pauses to answer the phone and talks in my room. She then sets the phone in between my legs and continues to massage me. Then the phone rings again.. this time she answers it and she is massaging my with one hand holding the phone with the other. She explained to me that one of her masseuses called in and she was short handed. I understand that and she was really nice about it. She said she normally runs the front desk. But why couldn't she leave my door shut and let the calls go to voicemail and return them right after?! She was a very nice lady and did a great massage. It just wasn't very professional and if it were me I would have done things differently. Overall it's a good place they just need to think about the customer's experience. I didn't know what to rate them as I would have loved to give them a 5. I wish I could rate them different based on each aspect of the business/experience. read more

My only regret is that I did not get the name of the person who helped me. I went here a few weeks ago after sleeping funny and getting a strain in my neck. After two weeks of trying to fix it on my own and even going to get a sports massage nothing was helping. Finally on my lunch break I found this place and decided to give it a try. It was mid day on a weekday so there was no wait and I had a private room. I got a 1 hour massage and by the end of the hour I could finally turn my neck again and several weeks later I haven't had any further issues. The person that helped me took time to listen to what the issue was and find all the areas that I had knots (it wasn't just my neck it was also my back and shoulders) and she got them all out. It was a little painful but not too much. Sort of like when you foam roll and it hurts so good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more
