I joined OTF after completing 75hard and it has definitely catapulted my fitness journey. OTF along with better nutrition and working out when I'm NOT doing OTF has made me the most fit I've been in over 8 years. I've been having trouble losing post partum weight after two kids. After getting the foundation of doing 75hard, I wanted to make sure I still kept my fitness routine going so my friend dragged me to OTF. It was the extra push I really needed. All the coaches are great. Coach Anthony is probably my favorite and the one I go to the most as he pushes me and makes sure we all are having correct form. I love that they have challenges and have benchmarks so you can see that you've been improving. I am the strongest and fastest I've been in my life! As an Orangetheory member, you're able to go to any gym...just sign up. I worked out at this location from time to time. I'm just not too crazy about the gym layout...have the floor exercises/weights at the far right close to the rowers which seems pretty tight to me especially when we switch. It's not my home gym so I can tolerate it especially if I'm in the area to go shopping. On a positive note, it's always clean, staff always super friendly, and playlist music always pumpin'. read more

A friend convinced me to try a free class back in 2022, and it had me go from casual weekend gym goer to build a consistent routine that's stuck. I'm stronger, faster and the fittest I've ever been because of it. I always look forward to my OTF power hours with coaches Anthony and Lauren. They're encouraging, help you with modifications if needed, and have great playlists! This studio is fun and it's always clean. I joined in September 2024 and have been consistently going 3-4 times per week. Besides a great workout, my favorite things are the staff and sense of community. The front desk welcome you with big smiles, remember your name, and are just fantastic. The coaches are incredible human beings (shout out, Lauren and Anthony!); they are wonderful about pushing you, having fun, making sure your form is correct, and are big on celebrating your wins! I am a busy mom who works full time, and don't have the mental capacity to plan a workout and show up for myself. The beauty of OrangeTheory is they take out the mental load/hurtles/excuses of working out. JUST SHOW UP and they handle the rest. Every workout is thoughtfully planned, well rounded, and never boring. You won't do the same workout twice, even if you go everyday. I've lost about 15 pounds and feel so much stronger than I did 6 months ago! As cliche as it sounds, OrangeTheory has changed my life. I no long brace myself when I sneeze and don't wake up feeling so broken. I'm almost 40 and feel like I'm in better shape than I was a decade+ ago. Having recovered from two spinal fusion surgeries, the entire staff has been incredibly supportive throughout my recovery and is always there to provide helpful suggestions and modifications. One year in at Orangetheory and I can definitively say this place gives you fantastic results. I love that it's more all around fitness (strength, cardio, hiit, etc) so there's just so much more of an all around benefit to your daily activities than hitting the gym to see how much you can bench press. I've seen significant improvement in everything from home projects to sports/hobbies to just day in, day out energy levels. It's very accessible in that there are folks of all levels of fitness in the classes, so there's benefit whether you're a fine tuned athlete or someone just getting back into the swing of regular exercise. I have been going to OTF Encinitas for about 7 years. The entire staff is great. Suzy and Nicole bring a fresh enthusiasm to the entire studio with their with their high energy and friendliness. They will go the extra mile to with any needs you may have. Coaches Julia and Anthony have been at this studio the entire time I have been going to OTF and they are both very genuine & good people. Julie always makes the floor exercises look so easy while demonstrating the workout, and Anthony is a master at slightly adjusting your form on the floor workouts to get the maximum workout. I've been working out at OTF Encinitas for almost 8 years. It's been the longest time I've ever stuck with any gym. I'm in my early 50's and have had a few injuries during this time- not from workouts at OTF- where the amazing coaches have helped me modify my way through classes. Sometimes I've only been able to speed walk or bike and sometimes I've been able to push myself running. I love how varied the workouts are and love tracking my minutes in the orange zone.
