    Bait and switch marketing. FBBC Poway offers a 6 week "free" class, once you're there it becomes a…read more$500 program that is "refundable" or partially refundable. If you're at a normal BMI they set the goal to 6% body fat and of you're above normal you lose 20 pounds. They have no standard of measurement prior to the first or last measurement and the device they use has a margin of error of 3.5-4.1%. Then when don't reach the goal, they do not honor a partial refund and only offer a credit to continue. I went from 199 to 187.4 in 6 weeks. The device said I lost 1.6% body fat and it increased from the prior two weeks each week. Mathematically it makes no sense. I would have to have lost 4.2% of muscle and water over 6 weeks; a total of 8.2 pounds of water and muscle. With that being said, if you follow the program you will lose weight. If you're looking to commit for 6 months, the initial $500 will get you another 5 months and may be worth it to you. I was looking for a 6 week program to get me back on track after breaking my leg, not false advertising and forced membership or an expensive 6 week program. Just keep in mind thos program is 90% diet based. Lean protein, vegetables, and very limited carbs; no sugar, or alcohol.

    Renegade workouts feel so good! I love the combination of cardio and strengths to get sweaty sweaty…read moresweaty! This location has some pros and cons. Parking tends to be easy if you're patient with those leaving class before yours. The room feels very spacious and large. The con is that this location gets warm. Unlike some of the other ones that have air flowing, this one feels like it depends on fans, so an afternoon class in the summer will really get your heart rate going because of how hot it is. The format of the workout is three stations- cardio, racks and turf. If the class isn't full, you are able to double up. I like to start with cardio to get it out of the way. The coach will demo moves for all stations beforehand and then signal you when it's time to move to the next exercise. The class keeps a great pace and has you moving with very brief recovery breaks. Weekend classes are full body where the weekday ones have a focus area. Really love getting to come to these classes! They are tough but a solid calorie burn and sweat!

The equipment is all in good shape, the instructor had the right energy for the class, and the workout kicked my butt! I would recommend!
