0 stars I've been a loyal customer for years and this was the third time they've completely failed me when my regular nail tech wasn't there. When I scheduled, I specifically asked to be placed with someone experienced because the last time I left with the skin on my toes burning from how careless they were. Yet, they still handed me off to someone who clearly didn't know what they were doing. Now, more than 24 hours later, several of my fingers are still burning. My nails are lumpy, different lengths and different shapes. The pedicure was the worst I've ever gotten in my life. They don't value loyal customers. They don't care if you're happy with the service. As long as they get paid. It costs absolutely nothing to treat people with basic respect and decency but that clearly wasn't a priority here. read more

This salon opened up last year and have captured the hearts of many in my neighborhood. The owner and staffs were amazing as soon as you walk in the salon. Salon atmosphere was fabulous, clean , roomy with plenty plenty seatings. They do offer customers variety of refreshments while you enjoy your beauty cares. I've been to most of the other salons in this neighborhood before they open up and would recommend them to all my friends and families. Prices vary depending on what you're doing and they do a lot of designs, they got you if you are looking for something specific. I been going to this nail salon for about 5 months now and they do quality work!! Kim usually does my nails and she is awesome. OMG!! She gives a great pressure point hand massage. Order it! She is off today so "Messi" did my nails and I got a pink/white with CHROME!! These pics don't do it justice! It is BEAUTIFUL! Now I know why he goes by Messi! Because he did such a meticulous job. It is very custom and takes some time, but so worth it! It will cost you a bit more so don't consider it is you are trying to save money, but Messi and Kim are the BEST!! I have been coming to this salon for over a year now, and had some not so great experiences bug my last two visits ensured I will never be returning . My last visit I got a full set of acrylics, I had dip powder on before. They took over 30 min to remove the dip, which they charged me $8 for even though it was their previous work! Then had a technician who did not know how to do acrylic do the messiest job I have ever seen, to the point I had to stop for a nail file on the way home to fix the shape. Figured she was just new & was learning. was very unhappy but figured I'll give one more chance. This last visit was for a removal. Just the removal of the acrylics they did a few weeks back... why did three different technicians work on my nails. Also the first one split my middle finger all the way through to my natural nail, to the point I was bleeding through. They put nail glue on the crack & continued to have me soak my hands in acetone for over 45 min. Did not offer to trim my cuticles or even finish filing the shape of my nails. Also, they charged me $15 for this experience. Used all my points and will NEVER be returning again. read more

My friend and I called for pedicure reservations on Saturday, the day before Easter. I know a lot of nail salons were busy so I called ahead to schedule. The host, at the front desk, was not very friendly but I figured he was just busy. We picked our polish and sat down in our seats. There was a little water already in the pedicure bowl but the host proceeded to use a water pitcher to transfer water from other bowls (where the seats were empty) to finish filling my bowl and my friend's. I have never seen anything like this take place at a nail salon and it did not feel sanitary at all! It also resulted in water temperature that was not hot. The salon has a large bar, in the center, with many bottles of liquor and cocktail ingredients but we were not offered any refreshments, not even a bottle of water. My pedicure started about 15 minutes before my friends and I felt like I received a great massage and overall good pedicure. My friend, however, did not receive the same. Even though her pedicure started 15 minutes after mine, her's ended at the same time as mine which meant she did not receive the same attention and massage - even though she paid for the same package. This was our first time trying this salon, and I will not be back nor would I recommend it to any friends. There are too many other great nail salons in the area with much better customer service and sanitary practices. read more

They charged me $12 in spite of their price on menu shows $10. I paid politely. I came back today and the manager asked me $20 after making me lay down on the bed. I told them it's $10 only. Why $20? The lady who is also a manager said if I don't want I can leave. I came ti talk to male manager and he said they have to charge me $20. I got my nails done and payed $65, not even a week later i was putting my shirt on and a nail pops off, I try to call but they were closed so i decided i would call them the next day, the next day two more nails fell off while I was doing everyday basic things. This is not my normal nail salon so i was really disappointed, I call and say something along the lines of how this is not ok and I either need a garentee that if I take the little time I have in my week to come in again that I will not have to pay or I need a refund beacsue of how bad this is. The lady on the ohoen tells me that they don't do refunds and that maybe I can come in for an accesement to see what thye can do. It hasnt even been 2 weeks and I've lost 7 nails, all lf my nails feel incredibly weak, when 2 of the nails popped off it took the tip of my nail off with it and one of my nails has visable damage with a dent in the middle of my nail , I am incredibly disappointed and angry about this huge waste of my time and money. do not recommend. read more

Greedy!!! I won't be back! I came in with my husband for a pedicure for us both and then I was getting my dip nails soaked off and a basic polish manicure. My husband had a great experience his tech did a wonderful job. My pedicure tech was 1/2 asleep & his massage was like a feather! I will say he did do a great job on the paint job(reg polish) my manicure tech did a bad job - my nails were uneven and too sharp on the corners when I told him he tried man- splaining to me that I didn't tell him - polish was sloppy , then after waiting 15 minutes my toes were dry but my finger nails were still sticky. He had disappeared so I went up to the front where the woman there took one look and knew that he had screwed up by not fully cleaning the nail (from the wax/oils) I then asked to just remove it and let me be on the way - the new woman tech said no she would fix it I told her I didn't have time to wait for it to dry we had a movie to get to- so she suggested gel - the part that really made me mad is they CHARGED me $5 for not getting dip again AND $20 more (on top of $25 basic manicure) for the gel that I didn't even want !! I spent $25 more then I anticipated. The business made the mistake they should have at the very least not charged me the $5 - I did ask about it and the front desk woman told me it was because I didn't get dipped again. It's crap. It's taking advantage knowing most of us won't make a scene we just pay, leave and won't return!!!!!!!!!!! And I'll never refer this business either. read more

This rating is for yesterday's service. I have always had a very good experience here except yesterday. The nail tech didn't have a clue about colors. He didn't even push the cuticles before doing dip. He was not at all gentle with the filer and the service was hurtful. About the color, the sheet showed a completely different color than the product they have. I am very unhappy with the service. read more

Way overpriced! MAke sure you ask about hidden fees! This place charges ridiculously for every little thing. Never in my life have I paid extra for tips at a routine fill-in. And they barely shaped my nails and charged me 7 bucks for shaping. Their pedicures are stupid expensive and I hardly got a massage. I don't mind spending money for a great job, but this was NOT worth it. The guy almost took my finger off with the file. It's still throbbing. Very disappointed for the $120 I spent. The only saving grace was that my nails look beautiful, but this was definitely a sub par experience and waste of money. read more

Orchid Nail Lounge was less than okay. I scheduled a 3pm appointment and was seated down at 3:05, but the nail tech didn't get to me until 3:22. I had a dinner appointment in Dallas at 5:15 and was stressed that this delay would affect getting to my dinner. When I got to my seat, there was dust from the nails of the previous customer all over the armrests, cupholders, floor and seat. I was pretty grossed out by that and they came by and gave me a complimentary drink - which was nice and cold - but put it in the cup holder that was covered in someone else's nail dust, with no cleaning it other than the guy swiping it once with his bare hand. The actual pedicure was decent, while it lasted. I got the standard pedicure which is advertised at 37mins and they did not even meet this time. This place was not busy and did not have many customers - about a quarter full on a early Saturday afternoon - but with the customers they did have at the time they obviously had issues getting to me in a timely manner. I paid for 37 mins, and got a total of only 20 mins. It's unfortunate because I normally go to a place that charges $10 cheaper for a more complex pedicure and the service there is phenomenal! I went here to get my nails done with my friend and we literally saw three cockroaches and almost ran out, but we were understanding until later on that week my friends toe got infected from her pedicure!!! They do not clean their foot spas!!!!! I would not recommend this placed unless this is your style. This is a great spot! The interior is very clean and pretty. They have liners in their tubs and the massage remotes built into the chairs. I had a gel manicure and gel pedicure and was very happy with the results. Both of my technicians were very thorough and took their time. They were helpful when it came to choosing colors and didn't push me to get tips or get upgrades like other places. I had a nice experience and will be back. read more
