Clean place but the service is terrible. I am visiting the tricities area and found this place and figured it was good after reading the reviews. My pedicure was rushed and sloppy. They could barely understand me when I asked for my nail shape. She half assed my massage and paid no focus to my feet. For the reviews saying this is the best place in the tri cities must have lived in the cities their whole lives and that's all you know because this is the worst polish job I've had and a waste of $55. My pedicure was ok except when I got home to examine I noticed my small toes were filed crooked and a dab of polish was put on one of my pinky toes. I KNOW I have more nail then that. For my gel manicure the girl was very attentive and did ask me if it was okay.. and from what I was looking at it seemed fine. Too bad they don't ask you if it looks okay out in the sunlight. It was then I noticed the gel polish must have been bad because 7 out of 10 fingers look like my polish was smudged and clear polish was painted over to fix it. Now, I couldn't have possibly smudged it myself because gel is cured and there is no dry time which is why I love gel.. I also notice in the day light that my cuticles were dry and chopped up.. some pieces still sticking up like nothing was even cut. Very disappointing but I just won't be back. read more

I was disappointed. While the service was friendly and prompt, I was appalled by unsanitary practices. I took my adult daughter and niece for pedicures. We sat side by side. The tech had a basket for each chair that appeared to have cuticle nippers and nail clippers in sterilization envelopes--great! However, each tech pulled open a drawer and filed our nails with a used emery board then took out a used nail smoother as well. When I questioned, I got a smile and head shake as it appeared the techs had limited English skills. Where is an inspector when you need one? I don't recommend you risk nail fungus or worse by visiting this nail salon. read more

Basic service for basic prices. I ended up going to this place because it was one of the few places open on a Sunday. It's your typical salon where is cheap, full, and the workers speak a different language. I would call it more of an in and out place if you're in a hurry. I paid extra for the package that was supposedly for callous removal ( and I told the lady that I wanted that too), but in my opinion it was a waste. She spent like a minute in total on my calluses. My Polish was applied in a quick manner and if I was expecting perfection it did not hit the mark. I called about coming in for 3 pedicures and was able to get in right away. We all had the hot stone pedicures and they were freakin amazing. The massage lasted for about 10-15 minutes PER leg. The hot stones and hot towel wraps were fabulous as well. What would've made it a 5 star for me would've been more attention to the scrubbing/smoothing of my feet. My nails look great - I've already made another appointment. The pedicure was heavenly-- almost 20 minutes of massage with scrubs, hot stones and lotion. Go! You won't be disappointed. read more

They didn't skimp out on the time that they massaged and it was wonderful and relaxing. They did not however deal with any problem nails or callouses. I've checked out every salon in town, from the cheaper spots to the high end expensive day spas. This place is clean, quick, while the technicians are funny, sweet and give great massages. My Polish always looks great and they have a large selection of colors. The spa pedicure and manicure products come in sealed, sterilized packages so you know this place makes cleanliness a priority. Also, the skin products they use are from individual sealed containers that shows they are not just using some random stuff. I always make an appt since it makes it a boy easier to get in, but it's not necessary if they aren't busy. I get a spa pedicure and a basic manicure. I don't do acrylics or gels anymore but they are done beautifully. read more

I found this spa to be very clean and attractive. My operator "Twee" did an excellent job on my acrylic fill. She did not hurt me and my nails look very nice and natural. I went into the spa on Saturday for a mani pedi. The pedicure was first and the gal that did my toes & feet was amazing. Very attentive and nice. THEN it was time for nails and the girl that painted them rushed through the process so quickly that she didn't pay attention to detail at all. The polish didn't even reach the base of my nail or completely down on either side on almost HALF of my nails. They looked like my 5yr old painted them. Plus, my cuticles were completely ravaged. She sat with me for maybe 5-7 min. However... They were relatively inexpensive for both fingers & toes so I suppose you should expect to get what you pay for. read more

Great leg massage and the staff for the most part was nice. Terrible paint job I could have painted my toes better.

I will never patronize this spa again. My pedicure was insanely sloppy, nails were not the same length or shape, polish application was not smooth and it was all over my skin. Another tech came over to try to clean up the mess, but she didn't do any better. You'd be better off giving yourself a pedicure. read more

I just went in and it's 445 in the afternoon their sign says they're open from 11 something to 730 and I walked in and she said that they were closing in 15 minutes. Completely unprofessional no reason given if your hours state they are open till 730 then you should stay Open until 730. I will not be returning to this nail salon read more

I have been a loyal costumer since they opened years ago. I even recommened most of my friends and family to them! The past year I have noticed quite a few changes. First off, the man who either owns it or manages it seems to always have a bad attitude and just doesnt seem like he enjoys his profession anymore. There was a time I made an appointment for four people a month out for a wedding for four pedis and three manis. When we checked in, we waited for about ten minutes (no problem with that) and then they seperated us when we were seated. Whats the point for making an appointment, if we werent even going to be able to sit together? Halfway through the wonderful pedis (my favorite service there, i get the On-Sen Pedicure), I reminded the man about our manicures and he started yelling at me telling me I changed my mind and that I never scheduled that. When in fact I did, I used to be a hairdresser, trust me I know how these things work. With that being said, one of the wonderful technicians apologized to me for his behavior, and we were able to get the service we had scheduled. I have since been back, and each time he is sitting playing on his phone, ignoring customers and rushing the technicians to get the customers out of there. I used to love this place and I still love all the technicians, but I wont be returning due to that mans attitude and VERY poor customer service. I wish that wasnt the case! read more

This is truly the worst nail salon I have been thus far. Since reading the positive reviews I went to try this place for a pedicure. Although i called ahead of time, I had to wait 30 mins and they were letting walk ins before me go ahead of me. Then when it was my time, I had a lady start just gobbing nail polish on my toes. I was so awwed didn't know what to say. And I have some friends in the industry and they have complained about people being rude when comin to get nails done so I try to be polite as possible. And I asked nicely that there were gaps in between the polish and she smiled and was like... I'll put another coat... No worries. After another coat of polish, I had the worst, sloppiest toe nail polish I have ever had. I am sitting there thinking.... If I was going to have such a sloppy job, I would have just painted at home myself. I didn't want to make a big deal about it... So I sat down pissed off!!! Drying... Thinking I will never come back here... And to my surprise.... My toe polish was peeling off after 1-2 days. So I went to another salon immediately and had my toes re-done after 2 days and the guy doing my toes at the salon looked at me like..... Did we do this? At this salon? And I was like NO!!! Would I be back here if u did? Worst customer service, worst paint job. I will never be back here again!!!!! read more

If I could give this NO star I would. The man who owns the salon is rude and unprofessional. He and the workers speak in their native tongue while offering the manicure/pedicure service and it appears they are speaking about the customer - and not in a nice way. The man/owner pretends to not know much English unless it is convenient for him. The owner and the workers seem very unhappy. I got a bad vibe and will not return for that and many other reasons. I also observed unsanitary practices and hope the health department does visit this establishment. When the pedicure was poorly done and I asked for a couple of the worst toe nails to be redone, the male owner said "no more pedicure for you". My pedicure looked awful. I had tried several nail salons in the tri-cities before Orchid Spa was recommended to me. Compared to the rest this place is amazing! I find it much cleaner than any other nail salon I have been to.
