Had a party of 13 adults and Lilly handled the order like she had been working for many years, but she looked like a teenager! As usual the meals were good as well as the service. We had our own private room since we had such a large group. We did call ahead of time and tell them we were coming!

Took my grandchildren ( 4y & 18 months). We did the train ride, had ice cream and then the sunflower field. They loved the playground prior to the train ride. The train ride through the dairy barn was educational and fun! Our driver was so nice to the kids. We also enjoyed feeding the goats! The ice cream was delicious! I highly recommend the lemon. Also walked through the sunflower field, the kids were exhausted by then but it was beautiful!

Oregon Dairy has the vibe of a diner but family restaurant style food. I love this place. Not too pricy, but reasonable. Food was delicious and service was quick, we sat at the bar area because it's very spacious in there and wanted to see how it felt sitting there at this place. The ice cream is amazing and fresh as well. Highly recommend trying here if you're in the Ephrata area.

Who doesn't love Oregon Dairy! I've been coming here since I was a kid and not much has changed. Whether you're grocery shopping, grabbing a meal at the restaurant, or satisfying your sweet tooth, always a reliable good to. The scoops and enough to feed two people! I enjoy coming here during the week when it's less crowded. Great flavors and friendly staff. Hopefully it doesn't loose its charm through the redevelopment plans.

    This is what I ordered.

I recently ordered a cake from the Oregon Dairy bakery for a gender reveal cake. I had called a week+ in advance and spoke very specifically over the phone about what was needed for the cake. The woman taking my order was very kind and had everything I said written down perfectly. I asked for a vintage heart cake, ALL white, and with "Baby ___(insert name)__" written on the top. Once I arrived to pick up my cake, they opened the box and it was simply not what I had requested. Not only was there color on the cake after I asked for only neutrals, the cake also did NOT have any writing on the top as requested. After voicing my concerns, they told me that there is not a cake decorator in today so no one was able to fix it or even write on the cake!!!! (Who does not have a cake decorator working AT A BAKERY!!!) The staff that was working was very kind in trying to help however, without a cake decorator, there was simply nothing they could fix. Attached to the cake box was the order form which was filled out with all of my correct requests so they clearly had the correct information, and the decorator ignored them all! After all of this, I was offered 50% off my cake which does not feel like adequate compensation however, the event was that day so I had no choice. Then for hours, I had to worry if they even had the correct cake color dyed on the inside for the gender reveal which THANK GOD WAS RIGHT. (At least that was correct) I attached photos for reference - The white cake is what I had requested and the colored cake is what was given! NOT CORRECT AT ALL EXCEPT THE SHAPE! I can't say I will ever recommend Oregon Dairy for cakes if they are going to obviously ignore the instructions given to them by the customer.

Went to eat lunch and it ended up being farm days. Spent all afternoon there after eating yummy smoked pork sandwiches.

The only place I've found locally where you can purchase Blue Crab meat from either the Chesapeak Bay or Louisiana. On both occasions we enjoyed fresh steamed Crabs. They were cooked perfectly with an exceptional store mixed Old Bay based seasoning. We've enjoyed their steamed shrimp which are wild caught and steamed perfectly. Their seafood bisque and the special shrimp and corn chowder is amazing. Rich, creamy, perfectly prepared chowder with just the right blend of old bay, seafood and vegetables. I've had their steamed Little Neck Clams in a white wine and garlic sauce. Delicious and served with toasted, crusty garlic bread. I have not tried their homemade Key lime pie.....yet. I plan to soon. Looking forward to trying their soft-shell crab sandwich. Mr Bills is located near Franklin and Marshall College along Harrisburg Ave. Seating is a bit limited, but there is seating inside and out. The cafe and seafood shop are house in the same space. Don't expect opulent atmosphere, but when the seafood is that good and fresh, you don't need "opulence". They have daily specials and sandwiches along with their fresh seafood. The staff is helpful, knowledgable and able to answer questions and make recommendations. I can't recommend Mr Bills more highly. Looking forward to our next visit with friends.

The servers were incredibly attentive and extremely knowledgeable. When it was time for the next course people seemed to appear with food out of nowhere serving everybody at the same time. Kudos for being the best part of this experience! The food was just okay for me. My steak was cooked great but not prepared great leaving gristle and fat that I had to cut around the edges. The circular slab of butter that came on top was just too much, reminding me of all the reasons I don't love wagyu. It just makes everything so rich. The chilled chicken soup was a big miss for all three of us that tried it. When asked how it was the best thing I could come up with was "odd". The overall vibe here is nice, however at this price point I expect excellence and I just don't get that at Gibraltar. This isn't someplace I'd seek out to come back to unfortunately.

If you only visit Lancaster for a few days this is one of the places you have to go. My favorite stands: 1) S. Clyde Weaver has insane specialty sandwiches and is one of my favorite delis. I typically get a large roast beef sandwich with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and the sweet bell peppers. The peppers are my favorite and I always ask for as many as they are legally allowed to give me. Caution: the large subs are ginormous so I usually eat half then save the rest for later. The bread holds up pretty well and doesn't get super soggy, but if you plan to eat it the next day, I would forgo the tomato which can get a bit slippery. 2) Kom Essa features the best breakfast sandwich around. It's greasy, but if that's something you don't mind, this is a must try. 2) Mean Cup is for anything coffee/caffeine related. This might be the best coffee in Lancaster. I practically give all my money to their storefront shop on Harrisburg Pike. 3) Shady Maple is the perfect stop for sweet treats: donuts, whoopie pies, etc. They used to have the best maple bacon long johns (hear me out) but I haven't seen them there for a while. 4) The Candy Stand is nostalgia central for me. Pretty much any type of candy you can think of, you can find there. This was a staple for me when I was younger. 5) Long's Horseradish features the best horseradish you can buy in a gagillion different flavors and variations.

Since it's been some time since I last shopped here, it was a treat browsing all the vendor stands and seeing what foods are available. As a garden/flower enthusiast, you know I had to check out the flower stands like Perfect Pots and Inspirational Blossoms, both with fresh blooms. For lunch, after a taste test, I opted for Soulcialze, which provided generous portions of mac n cheese, collards, beef brisket, and cornbread. Tables are provided for lunch or snacks, but we had to wait a few minutes because none were available. At Lancaster Central, you can expect a friendly atmosphere in this beautiful historic building, where the local community shops and supports. I usually secure parking via parking apps at the Hager lot or one of the two nearby parking garages.
