Rustic little bottle shop that serves sandwiches and deserts. I came in for lunch and the only item…read moreon the menu that wasn't a hoagie or a burger was the Lemon Crunch sandwich, so I opted for that. What I got was a large breaded and fried piece of chicken so slathered in honey the bun had completely dissolved on the bottom. I am not sure what lemon was involved. It was tasty, but so incredibly messy I had to take the lettuce and cucumber off and eat separately and left the bun. Issue is, the napkins are super cheap and thin and there is no public restroom or tap water to get the sticky mess off of my hands. I used the bottled water I got to put little bits in my hands at a time and use 25 napkins. I felt silly leaving such a mess (contained to the to go box it came in) but I wasn't left with any other option. I'd come back again if they remedy the sanitary issues (offer wet wipes??) because the flavor was good and staff super nice. But I now know better than to eat a special sandwich next time I try it. :)

I like cookies but more the homemade kind (with much less sugar) but thought I'd give it a try since I was out and needed sustenance to shop. The cookies are big. And almost $5 for one. I chose the Gingerbread cookie with frosting. They warmed the cookie up and frosted it. As I bit into the warm soft gingerbread, I realized, it was a thick swirl of cream cheese frosting! Yum! The only thing that would make it better is a coffee store next door. It was quite sweet, too. I couldn't even eat half the cookie so I will have some for tomorrow. The cookie was good and so was the service. I'm not sure how often I will be back but it is definitely on Santa's nice list!! And mine!

The brownie was dried out on the edges and really cold as though it'd be in the fridge for a while. The clerk kept flipping her screen to me and back but never seemed to want me to see it. Flipping then it's gone before I got a look. She seemed distracted and wanted to talk to her coworker much more than customers. The counter and computers were oddly very dirty. It's actually disgusting to buy food in such a dirty place. The prices are high, but that would be fine if the place was clean and the cookies were fresh. I remember taking grandchildren in just after they opened up. Spotless, people were well trained and cookies were clearly coming out of the oven into the boxes.
