He ended up just adding another valve body instead of just replacing the solenoids which would have been cheaper. Instead of calling me to confirm what his team would do they just decided to add another valve body charging me $1000. In the future I would have liked him to call me to let me know what would be done and yes you can add other OEM solenoids from another valve body or using the ones I had and getting the caps put on better so they don't fall off in the future. I would have felt that would have been more honest towards me.

The parts and labor was expensive, but we were assured that it was necessary. Six months later the clutch failed while my wife was in heavy traffic. She narrowly avoided an accident trying to get off the road with no power coming from the motor. The truck was towed at our own expense back to Jackson's where they repaired it again! We reminded them that we still have our invoice of all the parts that were replaced before, and it was still under their warranty. This time the repair was finished extremely fast. Pretending to replace parts on someone's vehicle is called theft. You would not look me in the eye. You gave no explanation of how brand new parts, predicted to last 6 years or more, failed in 6 months. Not a single word. You put my family in danger, and you are a thief!

Well about a week later the transmission seized up and wouldn't work. AAMCO towed it back to their place and said their tech didn't do something right so they "fixed" it. We gave out 12k miles on the new transmission over a 2 1/2 year period. Now it is doing the same thing it did when they didn't do it right the first time. Kurt informed me we were past the date on the warranty. My question is how that can stay in place when it's doing what it did the first time you "fixed" it after your tech messed it up. Please tho k twice before going here. It's nice to feel like a national company is behind the scenes but they are not. The cooperate office told me today that they do not do quality checks on their franchises as long as they pay their fees. In short I would warn against using a company, especially if they cannot maintain mechanics that are qualified for the work.
