I'm a big believer in amazing customer service! This place lives up to their reputation and have won me over. I was running behind after prepping for a move and forgot to schedule carpet cleaning. It was pretty close to 10pm on a Wednesday when I contacted them (via email) and got a response right away. Even though they were booked they fit me in the next day! I thought this would cost more but it didn't. I was super grateful!! Fred and Travis were very kind and very professional, fast and efficient. I'm frightened to even write this review, since I did not have a good experience with the owner and was dissatisfied with their service. I had my carpets cleaned, which only had a few small stains, still in very good condition, but all the stains remained after service. I didn't feel the carpets really got a good deep cleaning and since the stains remained I had them come back asap. The owner ended up coming out himself, free of charge, but repeatedly told me how inconvenient it was for him to come back out, for free. He then told me each stain not coming out was not his fault, that they were just stains no company would be able to get out, and ended up ruining part of my carpet from putting too much of his solution on it and working on it. The carpet is fried in that spot...with the stain still remaining. I was really turned off by how unprofessional the owner was. He spoke poorly of a customer he had had who he said was a "perfectionist" and had him come back as well, but she was still unsatisfied. I guess he was comparing me to her, or at least that is how he made me feel, and felt the need to tell me that. He even told me not to write a bad review on yelp when he was leaving, since he came all the way back out to my house... for free, once again. He also felt the need to tell me how crappy my vacuum was, which he had to use since he didn't bring his own. I love my vacuum by the way. The whole situation just left me feeling uncomfortable and still unsatisfied. The 2 original employees who came to clean my carpet the first time did work hard, were prepared, professional and punctual. But overall this company was just not for me. Our carpets look great a week after cleaning. My mom came over and couldn't stop commenting on how good our carpets looked. He even managed to lighten a grenadine stain that my husband had tried cleaning several times that was also several years old. when will yelp allow you to give... i don't know, 10 stars?! this is a review where i'd love that option! all i can start by saying is WOW!!! i was first impressed by MIKE (the owner) and ORGANIC CARPET CARE when we did a late-night inquiry the night before, confirming the time of our appointment and he actually responded. "impressive!" ...i thought. that was only reiterated when we got the chance to meet him the following morning. for one thing, MIKE and his (soon-to-be-son-in-law, yes, we know this because of the awesome conversation we were privileged to have with him), showed up on time. they had awesome attitudes and got right to work. to start, i need to say that the carpets look BRAND NEW. we have 4 pets of our own and the friends who lived here prior to us had 2. this carpet has had traffic from all walks of life and by the time they were finished you'd never know it. i've walked around barefoot since, just to feel the plushness i've never experienced with it. it's gorgeous! it was comforting knowing the carpets received an organic treatment. we are careful to remove whatever chemicals in our lives that we are able, so this was a treat to find. also, the carpets were dry within 30 minutes or less from the time of cleaning. we'd moved everything out of our rooms for easy cleaning and it was wonderful to be able to move it all back in promptly. they finished so quickly- it shocked us! clearly the actual carpet cleaning part was wonderful, but that wasn't the only thing! MIKE is AMAZING! we had one of the best conversations we've had with someone in a long time. he is genuine, real, caring and authentic. he shared his journey with us and we shared ours with him- even our wedding photos! we are so grateful for the gift of his time, energy and his general open nature. it's not everyday you get the chance to look into the life and story of someone you just met. he's the exact type of person you hope to do business with- or even have as a friend. Travis came to our house yesterday. He arrived exactly when scheduled, looked over the rooms, gave us the price and got started. Cleaning was quick and thorough and the carpets dried in about an hour, just like he said. He was very pleasant and did a great job. There were some old pet stains and it was amazing how much he was able to remove. I would absolutely recommend this company and will have them back to clean the carpets whenever they need it. We had our L- shaped micro fiber sectional steam cleaned as well as our area rug cleaned as well. Just as many others have said, I had used Organic Carpet Care previously and was very happy. I am a small business owner myself and believe me when I say I do not take writing a bad review lightly as I understand it's impact on business. However reviews were made to share experiences with others, good or bad, so that we help each other out in choosing what's right for us and in turn helping businesses and weeding out the bad ones. The first time, wonderful experience. I had Travis come over and was there myself. He was punctual, polite, and explained the entire process to me. It took him little under 1.5 hours and did an immaculate job. This time, having gained the company's trust, I hired them again and trusted they would do a good job without me having to be present. Michael arrived at the gate at 11:30am. He began working inside the house at 11:42. At 12:14 he texted me pictures of the "cleaned" carpet. He was done in 32 minutes. This was a rental unit and had the renters move out. They are friends of mine who rented for 1 year. When I came back, the carpet was not cleaned at all. He might have steamed it or done whatever to it that makes it wet, but definitely not cleaned or vacuumed. There were tiny piece of paper, clothes tag strings and hair everywhere. Literally everywhere. I sent him pictures and of course he acted surprised and said he did the whole carpet and the entire perimeter (referring to pictures that showed debris close to the trim). I told him not to worry and that I was going to pay his bill, because frankly I don't have time to waste dealing with this kind of service, and it was all good. A few days later, and having gotten so much hair stuck between my toes while walking around, I sent yet another message to express my dissatisfaction and Michael called me immediately. Though I greatly appreciate that, the phone call was pretty much insulting. 1- He repetitively stressed how dirty the carpet was and that he "must have picked up over 200 of these things" (referring to the clothes tag strings - the ones from a tag gun) and that he "had to clean the filter three times!!" So in 32 minutes, he cleaned the entire carpet and perimeter and cleaned his filter, which he made seem like it was a lengthy process, "three times!" That isn't an opinion. That is pure math. Lies. 2- He offered to come back because of the 30-day warranty they offer, but obviously I won't have them step foot in my house again. In my business, if, and only if (that's a big if), a customer was not satisfied, I would give a full refund. He went on to say that he will offer me a 10% discount the next time I hire them to come clean the carpet. Not sure how he genuinely believes he is doing right by offering that. Not recommended. "Just didn't work. Their process took the dirty areas and spread it around over the entire area. Did not remove the dirt. This morning I had to buy carpet cleaning supplies to finish the job on the heavy soiled areas." After writing the above review, the owner asked to come out today and look at the problem. He determined what needed to be done and started work and stayed until everything looked in top shape. This is our second time using Organic Carpet Care. My previous experience was at my last house I was putting on the market and I had 14 years of wear with stains, and they did a fantastic job. This time it was all about carpet maintenance and keeping it clean and looking good. My experience was excellent as I expected. Travis showed on time. He was personable, totally respectful of our belongings and property. The carpets dried quickly as promised and the next day when our cleaning service appeared for their twice bimonthly cleaning service they asked who had been in and cleaned the house. Our carpet is 17 years old, Travis did an amazing job with little down time for us, no wet carpet to deal with for the next few days. Had this company out again and man do they do a good job. The owner actually answered the phone both times I talked to him and it was refreshing to call a business and not have to leave a message. His technician, Travis, was SO nice and polite. He showed up about 10 minutes early and called when he was about a half hour away to let me know he was on his way. He listened to everything I said I wanted done and went above and beyond in doing things like moving the bed himself because my dog sleeps under it. Mike was awesome. My carpet wasn't too dirty but FULL of dog hair thanks to my lovely cur. Mike had to work double hard (and extra long) to make sure it actually got out. Instead of steam cleaning, which I thought sucked all that stuff out but really just surface cleans, he uses something that actually agitates the dirt/hair in the carpet fibers that he can then vacuum up. Seriously the best! I've gotten phenomenal results each time I've used them. I had them clean two terribly dirty mattresses, they got stains out and sanitized them, all naturally! The carpet I've had them clean had endured a teenage boy And his dog who had a staph infection, so it was crucial that I get it sanitized without the chemical smell and toxicity. Perfect job- the carpet looks Amazing and the room smells neutral, no weird funk! Their machine heats the water up to 310º, which sanitizes, plus they use a hydrogen peroxide base, if i listened correctly, which disinfectes, too. I actually feel safe touching that carpet now! I was looking for an organic carpet cleaning business and their only 5* reviews made me confident to hire them. Our Stain Circumstances: We have 2 dogs and one loves to clean his face on the bedroom's carpet after he eats... Spoiled one -I know- so we got a couple of big spots on the carpet. And our king size bed had couple of stains, too. My experience: Travis works with his fiancee, Amanda. They arrived on time, were really polite and did an excellent job. The only thing I had to do is to strip down the bed & close the pets. :D (My husband & I removed the smaller furnitures ahead, so they did not had to deal with it.) They moved the bed to clean out underneath. They promised to be done in an hour, and they were ready on time. Their prices are good ($55 for the bed and $40 for the master bedroom), their job is great & I was really happy with the experience with this company. They got me an appointment within few days and were done while I was having fun with the pups in the backyard. I can just offer them.
