Strange seating layout, counters are enormous but there's no purpose for them. Food takes too long to come out, short staffed. Surcharge for eggs on top of extremely high menu prices which aren't posted. The prices aren't posted in the store and aren't on the printed menus which are hard to find. Our bill came to $55 for 2 BEC croissants, one order of 3 little oatmeal pancakes and 1 cup of coffee....$55??? This is counter service, not a sit down restaurant. One and done, never again my friends !

I wanted to love this place and this is my second try- but sorry no. The eggs were over scrambled and rubbery. i paid for added feta and there was barely any , the avocado toast was not on toast but soggy bread, the sweet potatoes were dry. The extra egg white extra was the only thing done right. I paid 3.50 for added "toast" with my eggs and it wasn't even toasted. This breakfast was $50 and i have to doctor it up to make it edible - and i get it, things are expensive, and yet i am disappointed.

The healthiest meal I can find in Long Island has everything organic, friendly employees, and a clean environment. The place was busy during lunch hours but good service. Love the comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The place is good to catch up with friends. Our meal was remarkably fresh and served promptly. The menu includes numerous options, including gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free. My only complaint is that the music was loud and the matcha was too sweet. This is my favorite spot for meals, dessert and chicken bone broth, but will go elsewhere for Matcha.

Nice trendy organic breakfast/lunch please with a variety of health food. Ordered their protein breakfast wrap and a crushed vegetable drink. Came out to $30. So expect to pay as this place is a bit pricey.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity. It was clean and appealing, but the decor was nothing special. I was craving a smoothie and ordered the emerald protein boost - it was actually pretty tasty. I could taste the protein powder, but I don't think there's much you can do about that, and it was still good. The person who took my order was efficient, but not overly friendly. Even though it's a bit expensive, I don't think it would break the bank and would definitely give it another try.

    Mold on raspberries

Well this is quite disappointing from a 4 star establishment in a upscale shopping plaza. Mold and poor service. I ordered two acai bowls for pick up and when I entered, I stood at pick up for a good minute as the cashier was too preoccupied texting with her back towards me. Once I got my bag I really should of looked inside the stapled bag before I left but the workers blatantly chopped MOLDY raspberries into my Açaí bowl. If you don't have fresh ingredients, please toss it out. There's no excuse because someone manually had to slice these in half before throwing it as toppings. Disgusting and never will be back.

Dead fly in my son's Buddha Bowl
    Ashleigh R.

Today is officially the last time I ever order from Organic Krush. The quality of their food has been going downhill for quite some time but today takes the cake. I got halfway through giving my son their Buddha Bowl only to find a dead fly! For a place that prides themselves on high quality ingredients, the last several times I've received food from them it has been anything but. I could let the fly slide as a one time thing but the fact that the kitchen is content with serving avocado that looks like this is not acceptable. I reached out to the manager and she had assured me she would talk to the kitchen to prevent it from happening in the future but the next time I ordered from them I received the same black dot riddled avocado. For the price they charge, I would have to be crazy to return. Never again.

Kale detox salad ($1 markup on doordash) - pretty satisfying
    Jess L.

A search on DD for "salad" led me to OK. I liked their menu right away, and there are options in multiple categories. I got the pasta salad for the week. It's definitely a large portion, though I wish there had been more shrimp (top layer in photo was the only shrimp) and more side sauce. (I added my own feta, which I recommend.) I got the kale salad, which was pre-made but hearty. (There's at least $1 mark up from what the container says.) My partner's custom wrap, while small, was very good and fresh. Lastly, I splurged on a peppermint cold "hot chocolate," which was a healthier way to get my sweet tooth satisfied. It was good, and I'd get it again (though the smoothie list is large and has a lot of good-sounding options). Overall pleased with my delivery experience and would order from here again.

A little on the pricey side but for good reason! All the cold press juices are made in house, refreshing! And the food was also delicious. Would highly recommend! 20/10!

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.

Well, I'm not sure how much the city of Roslyn has to offer though, so maybe it's the place to be as it got pretty packed as the evenings went on. I went once for dinner and had a pretty good shrimp cocktail with large shrimp and bland cocktail sauce, even with the extra horseradish. My seared tuna was overcooked, but had a nice flavor. Seared usually means some type of crusty charred goodness, but this didn't have it. The chai creme brûlée was good, but the sugar wasn't torched properly and didn't have that snap, crackle or pop which is what it's supposed to have. On a second night I went for cocktails which were $20 a pop! Yes, it was a bit pricey, but they were well made... with the exception of not having a luxardo cherry in "The Brooklyn". The staff was friendly and remembered me from the night before. They have a pretty good menu, and also a separate Indian menu and seemed to be a place for some local celebrations going on. Good (not great), pricey and very close to my hotel room!

We were there for a wedding and had gotten to the hotel around 8am to the brides room. The rest of the bridal party went downstairs to check in, because the link sent to our email to check in early was not working for us (it worked for others just not us for some reason). Check in was at 3 but as we had all gotten emails to check in early and couldn't, we went downstairs to check in. We understood that our room would not be ready until 3 but just wanted to pre check in as I've done MANY times before at other hotels. When we went down to the front desk to request this, the young woman working the desk was EXTREMELY rude WITH an attitude telling us that we aren't able to check in because they didn't have rooms yet. I explained that we dont need a room yet but that we got emails to check in early and it didn't work for us and we weren't going to be back until 1am. She responded again rudely telling us we can't check in with an annoyed facial expression. On top of that, we had mini gift bags that all the guests were to receive when they got to the hotel as the hotel had room blocks for the wedding. They were given to the front desk with the request to put them in the rooms for those there for the wedding. We were told this was no problem, as guests were arriving they had the bags behind the desk and started handing out multiples to each person even though the instructions were one per room and to be in the rooms. One of the guests went up to the front desk explaining to the women that they were supposed to be in the rooms already and one per room (again as we were told they can do this earlier in the day). She rudely, with an attitude, told her that "they don't do that" and they'll hand them out when guests are checking in "if they remember". Overall, the main issue was the lack of professionalism from the front desk women who were extremely nasty and miserable.
