I had such a great lunch. I tried the sweet potato pesto gnocchi special. It was so so good. I also had the green tea. I was able to stock up on my favorite flu and immunity shots. So excited that Organic Krush finally opened in Roslyn. When I'm home from school this is my go to! It's nice to have a place other than Whole Foods that has fresh organic food, AM I RIGHT?? The set up is similar to a chipotle style, you chose your base (ex: rice, quinoa, salads etc) then you get a choice of over 30 toppings (you get 4...or more but it can get a bit pricy if you start getting crazy with the goodies!) then you get a choice of protein (ex: grass fed steak, falafel, tofu, chicken etc) What I love is that they have so many vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options. I'm NONE of those (hahah) BUT some of my friends and family are, and it's super helpful to have a place that has those options. Some of my favorite items are the cauliflower rice (which is vegan if you don't get a meat protein, yay!) the mexi steak bowl is delicious with brown rice, and the Thai tofu is really awesome especially over soba noodles. I've never sat to eat, I usually just pick up but everyone is always very friendly and helpful and attentive. I see Alessandra there most days that I pop in and she is always extremely friendly, helpful when i can't make a decision on what i want and easygoing. Naz is also always very helpful and nice when I'm there!! It's really nice to go to a place that has great food and an equally great staff. The only complaint that I have is sometimes when they're busy the wait is really long and i can tell that they get a bit overwhelmed, and for newbies the setup can be overwhelming if you don't know what you're doing, but other than that can't wait to see this place thrive! I really like how this place emphasizes whole and clean ingredients. I've tried the pancakes before in store and for delivery, but I would have to say they tasted so much better when I had them in the store. I would recommend picking up your order if you can or having your food in the store, but I'm not sure how the dine-in situation is like right now. I've also tried their bottled celery juice and flu shot, which I thought were okay. This place is definitely a bit pricey so I only treat myself here from time to time. I've been wanting to come to Organic Krush for a while. I was happy to see a location open in Roslyn near to where I live. I had a very lovely experience. I must have asked a million questions about their food and juices. Alessandra was so nice and so very helpful, happily explaining everything. She is great. I had the Spicy Korean BBQ, Coconut Shrimp Wrap, Tuna Salad, Truly Green Juice and these cute little doughnut holes. I would order everything again except that I want to try the rest of the menu first. Good organic food is hard to find at an eatery! Will definitely be back. I live really close and would love to come here more often and every time I forget how bad it really is and I go back I'm just reminded by the pitiful service that I get each and every time I go to your establishment. I was literally the only person in the entire store and ordered two bowls and I waited and waited and waited and 20 minutes later I asked where my food was and the person sitting in the front went to the back and brought it up. So here's a conclusion organic Krush. You've hired a bunch of jokers who were likely getting high all day who have no clue what's going on and no care to do their job. It's plain and simple. Really love this chain but I wasn't impressed with this location. After telling the cashier about my food allergies, he didn't note any of them and then my food came out with a whole wheat wrap when I have Celiac disease (gluten allergy). Luckily I've seen the gluten free wrap before and knew the difference or I would have been really sick. I'd recommend using something to denote dishes made for someone with allergies, like a toothpick or different color plate as many other places do. The other locations are nicer inside too, in my opinion. I will definitely be supporting their other locations, but won't be back to this one. read more
