Located in an…read moreelementary school, you'll see a bunch of tents lined along, selling everything from flowers, fruits, jerky, meat, cheese, and more! Pros: -I love the variety of food vendors that they have here. There were also vegan options available. -there is a shaded seating area that has picnic benches but people also brought out blankets to enjoy the day -some live music was available when I stopped by Cons: -parking can be a bit difficult and since this is in a residential neighborhood, you need to be careful of where you park. It I was able to get street parking not too far away Overall, a delightful farmers market!

My highlight of this place was the green juice from morning star ranch!! Everyone had a bottle and rightfully so, super nutritious and delicous - this farmers market is at a elementary school which is great -parking can be tough but we had parked in downtown Encinitas and just walked over (about 20 minutes)

I love the concept of making fresh food accessible to everyone and anyone. It's such a great mission. The highlight for us was the nature play area; my little one could have stayed there for hours. They've done a fantastic job creating an outdoor experience that's genuinely fun and engaging for kids of all ages. I also loved the "lead experiences" they host every hour. We joined the chicken feeding, which was a huge hit thanks to Daniel! We felt very safe throughout our visit, and the security team was incredibly helpful and a special thanks to Stephanie for that. We're already looking forward to our next trip back!

CASH ONLY or VENMO…read more Good but could of been Great. Visited Chino Farms for the first time last month. It's conveniently located near my Doctors office. I love driving down the windy roads, it really feels like you are elsewhere. I walked up to the stand and there were ony a few other customers. On the stand they had a lot squash, herbs, tomatoes, figs, cucumbers, lettuce, oranges, among other goodies. I purchased their oranges, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and some figs (which didnt make into my bag- see more below). I spent about $19 Things to know: - Cash only or Venmo Pros: - You know the pros, delicous produce - Best cucumber I've ever tasted, like ever!!!! Cons: - Prices are not listed on the produce - No receipts are given at purchase unless you ask for them - Because no receipt/price listed, I don't actually know that I paid for the figs but they didn't make it into my bag. When I tried reaching out to them, I didn't get a response. Of course it's not about the figs but rather transperancy. I like knowing how much things are. I also like to know how much I've been charged for those things. All in all Chino Stand is good, and well it's great if you dont mind some uncertainty- not about their products but about their prices.
