Over priced and gave me a toenail fungus. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD ANY NAIL ISSUES UNTIL THIS PLACE. Red flag number one they didn't use tub liners for pedicure. Red flag number two, she touched my toe nails with the tips of the bottles she was using for cuticle oil. After she did my feet she rolled her cart away and didn't even disinfect the bottles. I went In for a manicure & I had my gold bracelet which the lady removed and put it inside her desk.. I left and totally forgot about it... I called the next day and she denied everything! It was a gift from my mom with my name engraved.! I asked if we could take a look at the cameras and she said the cameras were not working. read more

My new favorite nail salon! The service is extremely welcoming and friendly! They have remodeled and added really nice massaging chairs which I enjoyed the entire time. The technicians took their time and showed they really cared about making my nails look great. I have small brittle nails that I'm usually really embarrassed of, but they made me feel comfortable which is huge for me. 10/10 service, and very clean environment. For more than five years, I have been going to Tammy and Philip to do my nails. They always do a great job! Over the years, I have tried different salons, but they are the best! They were at a different salon for several years and now they are at "Sparkly Nails." The salon is located in an excellent area and is very stylish and neat. 5/2/13 *UPDATE* I have to lower my rating for them sadly. They go down to a 2.5. I got the gel polish from the twice and my nails are completely ruined. They are usually naturally strong and long, now they are breaking and so thin. I used to get gel polish at Abiza and never had this problem. I think it was because they used that power drill thing that they use on fake nails to remove the polish and it thinned out my real nails. sad. I really like everyone that works there but I'm not going back. _____________________________________________________________________ Second time here last Friday and a week later and my nails still look good! I just stopped by for a regular manicure and pedicure. Usually if I don't get the gel polish, my nail polish chips in a couple days. I'm impressed that it still looks really good a week later. Sandy & Kim (i think were their names) worked on my nails and they were both so nice. You know usually they talk amongst themselves and you're wondering if they are talking about you b/c you can't understand what the heck they're saying, well they both talked to me and we're so sweet. Kim was showing me some of her nail designs that she does and they were awesome! I can't wait to go back and get some sassy nails from her. I'm pretty sure this is now my go-to nail salon! Oh and it was $35 for mani, pedi and callus remover. Not too bad! :) read more

Tony (& Lisa) are the best for sure! They speak English well & Tony did the white on my toes (French) exactly the thickness I like it!! Which never happens!!! I will totally come back, but only if I can get in w/ them! Specifically Tony. $30 for a mani/pedi- not bad. Some places are insane w/ their pricing. I would suggest making an appt if you want someone specific, but they do take walk ins. read more

I was getting my hair cut in the area so I thought I'd try a new nail place while I was waiting for my appt. I checked Yelp and found that Sparkly Nails had some good reviews. If this review was only for my nails, I would've given them 4 stars, as all I had was a color change on my nails and toes, and the staff was friendly enough and colored inside the lines. The 3 stars is for my eyebrow wax. While I had no intention of getting my eyebrows done there, it seemed like many ladies were coming in just to get their eyebrows waxed from a guy in the corner who seemed to have it down. I decided to get it done too and he literally waxed off a portion of my eyebrows that was not supposed to be waxed off! My eyebrows were now crooked and not the same length. I am still waiting for my left eyebrow to grow back to its original length. read more

I like coming here because the owners are very sweet and friendly. This place is nice and clean and never packed full of people. It's not your typical nail salon with all the smoke and mirrors. Just your basic nail salon, get your nails done how you asked and be on your way. I'm not a fan of the new age salons where they are always looking to sell you a million different services and a chaotic atmosphere. I love my nails every time I visit here. read more

Tony and Lisa are the best at manicures and pedicures. I went last evening at 5pm and needed the relaxing atmosphere of Sparkly Nails. Tony is excellent with my manicure and Lisa is excellent with my pedicure. My daughter loves this place too and she has always gotten regular manicure and pedicure. They're going to be on vacation part of summer, so please check when they'll be closed for their time off. I can use my marykay polish or they have very good selection of colors and products. read more

Services are mediocre. I got a mani/pedi and my nieces got kids pedicures. Honestly, I am a little upset over their selective pricing.. my sister, whose a regular customer, comes in often with her kids, they normal charge here $10 for a child's pedicure.. but so happens to be the nail salon was empty when I came in with the two kids and have declined their gel services...they ended up charging me $18 for each child. Not Cool.. I'm not one to lowball for services, but I have to say, I feel a little hustled just because my face was not familiar in their shop, does not mean they can up their price cause I'm new. I would give them ZERO stars if Yelp let me! I decided to go in for a pedicure today after reading all of the good reviews on Yelp. When I walked in, no one really greeted me, so I asked how much a pedicure was. One of the ladies curtly replied, "18". Oooookayy... seemed like a decent price so I decided to sit down. After mumbling to some other employee, she quickly told me that they "were busy so they could not take me." What?! I have never heard of a business turning away customers. Was it because I decided on just a pedicure and not something expensive? I don't know, but I was very upset. The salon wasn't even full; there were only three or four customers. Needless to say, this nail salon seems very unprofessional and rude. Never going back there again! Zero stars!! read more

FOUND IT! The best mani/pedi in the area. You know you've struck gold when you walk in on a random Tuesday and they've got a full house. The prices are totally reasonable, the staff is uber friendly, the place is clean and they do some amazing nails. They really take their time to make sure your nails look perfect and that you enjoy your experience there. The standard massage is long and luxurious, you can pay for more if you want and it's so worth it if you do, but just the standard is above and beyond the norm. The massage chairs are fabulous too, they don't just shake you around like most places. Sparkly does offer shillac manicures, so if you haven't tried it yet, do it. The manicure miracle. Make an appointment because the secret is out, Sparkly has got it going on. I can't wait to go back. read more

Just tried this place, and I won't be going back! I asked for a white tip full set of acrylic nails. The lady wanted to use her own technique in which I have never seen, but I think she only did that to charge me a ridiculous price. She charged $60 for this! I've never paid sooo much for just plain white tip nails. She over grinded my natural nail so they are in pain right now. One of my nails was placed noticeably crooked. Other nails were flat and badly shaped. I was really upset I paid that much for the quality of work that was done. read more

I was tired of paying $24 for a pedicure at the local place, and knowing there were about 50 other nail salons in a 5 mile radius, I ventured out. I went to a salon I pass nearly every day, tucked in by the 7-11 and the Original Pancake House. It was very clean, very small and pretty much like all other neighborhood places, only the spa pedicure was only $17. And, nice thing about this place, they take their time and do it right. Example - even though I didn't want the callous remover, she did a great job getting the bottom of my feet as smooth as a baby's bottom. And, the foot massage was like a long, lingering slice of heaven. I didn't feel gyped at all. I've been to places that absentmindedly slap on some lotion, but not here. It's not the fancies, nicest or priciest, but it is a nice little 45-50 minute escape from the day-to-day. read more

It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! I got the gel color 97 in "pink mocha". It costed $42 for a full set in gel acrylics and $3 more for the coffin shape but it was totally worth it. They're very thorough and super nice! read more

Mimi is her name and nails are her game! If it were an game she would be an all star. Whether you prefer long or short, real or fake she knows her business well. I've been seeing her for my nail care for over 8 years and I have yet to find someone one better (not that I'm looking). She is really sweet and pretty funny once you get to know her. Her salon is small but clean offering a full array of beauty services to fit your needs. Her staff is also super friendly and patient. read more

Went here for a mani pedi and I was very disappointed. There was only 2 people there and they turned away so many customers, and not in a very polite way either. Definitely need more people there if they are that busy on Wednesday afternoon. It also wasn't sanitary at all - the spa chairs are not covered with bags when used so everyone is putting their feet in the same tub. The tools are also reused for all customers; they looked old and a bit rusted. Tony did my nails and a simple mani pedi took almost 2 hours! So long and it wasn't very detailed either. Other places take half the time and are much for detailed. I chose a light color so Tony did an extra coat, but the coat was too thick so it was super mushy - it took almost 8 hours to fully harden. I messed it up because I couldn't go so long without touching anything. Definitely won't be back. read more

I went here for my very first pedicure and now I'm hooked. The people are friendly, the prices are reasonable and it's a very calm environment. I have always manicured my own feet, but I could not get rid of calluses and dryness around the back of the foot. So when I went here, the lady trimmed my nails and put a solution on my foot that help remove the dead skin build up. Long story short - when I left; my feet felt soft and smooth. I have frequented this nail salon many times and I have never been disappointed. The staff male and female are very friendly and NOT pushy. I order what I want and do not feel bombarded by the usual round of product offerings and upgrades. Anthony is great and thorough and speaks fluent English! Very positive experience. A friend and I went in on our hour long lunch break at work. I was getting a fill with regular polish and she was getting gel polish. We didn't even have to tell them we were on limited time, because they were very quick. I came here for the gel wizard Tony and he did not disappoint! My nail beds are naturally dry so I usually end up with gel all over the edges of my skin, but not with Tony -- he is meticulous!! As my schedule got too busy for gel upkeep, I switched to regular polish manicures... Tony didn't do it so I was nervous at first. Until 6 days later when my polish was still perfect - unheard of! I am brutal with my hands so my polish manicures usually last 2-3 days before chipping. Great staff I'm happy to have a reliable salon right near my house. read more

I told her I was debating on going back to acrylics because the last couple times I got Gel X at other salons the nails looked like they were set unevenly as in lifting upward from the base of the nail to the tipbasically like a cat's claw, but curving up instead of down. She assured me they should not & would not look like that. While she was doing my nails I noticed her do at least 5 extra things I've never had another technician do for Gel X. On top of that she takes the time to match up the length of each nail on both hands & shapes them to your perfection. I mean with how expensive it is to get your nails done these days I can't express enough how much I appreciated the fact that Donna doesn't just do the bare minimum, but goes above & beyond!!!
