This was not good. I don't understand the 4.5 stars. I'm from Los Angeles so I guess I'm used to better. That's all!!

When driving lost for a bit looking for a quick hotel I noticed the Korean flags in front of the restaurant, rerouted back later and yes authentic Korean food.

KPot definitely has a cool ambiance that draws you in--the lighting and setup make it feel like a…read morefun experience right away. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't live up to the atmosphere. The dishes we received were on the dirty side, which set the tone early. Our server, Hana, was okay overall but not very welcoming, and we felt rushed throughout the meal. We were also told that if one person at the table orders both K-BBQ and hot pot, then everyone has to do the same. I didn't really want the hot pot, but ended up getting it anyway. The hot pot itself was just okay. Because of the lighting, it was difficult to tell when the meat was fully cooked. At other restaurants, I've always been provided oil or butter to help prevent food from sticking to the grill, but here we didn't get that, which made cooking a bit frustrating. Overall, while the ambiance is the highlight, the lack of cleanliness, rushed service, and dining rules mean I won't be returning.

Absolutely love that there's an AYCE KBBQ spot in town, let alone it be "K Pot!"…read more I've had K Pot in Houston and Atlanta, and absolutely love the chain restaurant. The Columbus K Pot location is brand new, being open for about a week. The restaurant is very aesthetic, having a majestic exterior and very beautiful interior. This location seems to be a bit smaller than the Houston / Atlanta locations I've been to, but it's very nicely set up with the space they have . The food was delicious! My group got the Hot Pot and KBBQ combo (Highly recommend). We ordered (what seemed like) all the meats, and ate our Hot Pot simultaneously with the grilled KBBQ. Absolutely loved all the beef (specifically the Brisket, Beef Belly, Short Ribs) and mussels. The service was very friendly and attentive, regularly refilling our drinks and changing our grills. The only improvement I have for this location is the tablet didn't register with the kitchen, so I had to notify the employees of the meats I wanted ordered (versus the intended purpose of the digital tablet). This may just have been a digital error for my tablet, for that day. But I still got what I ordered. This place will be a hot commodity, an absolute must for KBBQ / Hot Pot enthusiasts!

If you have never had Korean food with traditional "appetizers" I highly recommend chickchickporkpork. The food is absolutely fantastic! The prices are extremely fair for the quality and quantity you get. The sign in front is a bit small, so pay attention as you get close. You will be pleased you chose to come, whether for lunch or dinner. For the especially finicky eater, you will find a luxury of fried chicken options to choose from. Come with an open mind, and you will leave with a full belly and plenty of good memories.

We didn't drink, but they do have a good variety of alcoholic drinks. The lunch special seems like a really good deal. We ended up getting the chick chick chilly chilly mayo. I really enjoy that they bring out a water jug for self service and do wish more restaurants would do that since I drink a lot of water. It is not to far from campus and definitely worth the drive. It's perhaps not in the most fun location being off pepperell pkwy but large indoor seating available. Should be good for big groups as well, never took a big group here but seems like they have the space. Parking lot has spaces but not a good lot. Lots of potholes and some big ones at the entrance.

The food was cold. I ordered with the hot stone and the only thing that was hot was the fried egg on top. I love when the rice gets burned a bit on the bottom but was barely warm. It was also supposed to be beef and veggie. I think I found two small pieces of beef. For service you ring a bell which is weird. We sat in the middle of the room and you would think they would at least check on you. And did I mention the live ROACH we found on our table? We told them and they just had us switch tables. Ughhhh

I personally prefer grilled mackerel (B9) but my friend wanted the sole. Still didn't disappoint. We had the chicken teriyaki which I wouldn't normally order if I wasn't on a diet. We got sauce on the side and I salt and peppered it, still good. Our table also ordered the Tonkatsu (which has huge portions, two layers of deep friend pork), C7: Bone-in Haejanguk (hangover soup), and C2: Bulgogi in a hot pot. They both looked and smelled delicious and our friends loved it. All in all, I have no doubt that almost everything here would be good. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town!
