KPot definitely has a cool ambiance that draws you in--the lighting and setup make it feel like a fun experience right away. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't live up to the atmosphere. The dishes we received were on the dirty side, which set the tone early. Our server, Hana, was okay overall but not very welcoming, and we felt rushed throughout the meal. We were also told that if one person at the table orders both K-BBQ and hot pot, then everyone has to do the same. I didn't really want the hot pot, but ended up getting it anyway. The hot pot itself was just okay. Because of the lighting, it was difficult to tell when the meat was fully cooked. At other restaurants, I've always been provided oil or butter to help prevent food from sticking to the grill, but here we didn't get that, which made cooking a bit frustrating. Absolutely love that there's an AYCE KBBQ spot in town, let alone it be "K Pot!" I've had K Pot in Houston and Atlanta, and absolutely love the chain restaurant. The Columbus K Pot location is brand new, being open for about a week. The restaurant is very aesthetic, having a majestic exterior and very beautiful interior. This location seems to be a bit smaller than the Houston / Atlanta locations I've been to, but it's very nicely set up with the space they have . The food was delicious! My group got the Hot Pot and KBBQ combo (Highly recommend). We ordered (what seemed like) all the meats, and ate our Hot Pot simultaneously with the grilled KBBQ. Absolutely loved all the beef (specifically the Brisket, Beef Belly, Short Ribs) and mussels. The service was very friendly and attentive, regularly refilling our drinks and changing our grills. The only improvement I have for this location is the tablet didn't register with the kitchen, so I had to notify the employees of the meats I wanted ordered (versus the intended purpose of the digital tablet). We were passing through Columbus and decided to stop here for lunch! There was a big group of us; the staff was very kind and accommodated us quickly. Our server was very sweet, funny & attentive. The ordering system is very easy to navigate and the food was delicious! The restaurant is clean and seems like it would have a nice ambiance for dinner time. The playlist they have on is a nice mix of top hits and kpop (yay lol). Our visit to KPOT was great! all-you-can-eat place where you cook your own food, who doesn't like that!! You get a lot of different meats, seafood, and veggies to grill or put in a hot pot. It's great if you want to try different combination of flavors and have a great filling meal! I love being able to make my own sauce and choose what veggies and meats i want. My favorites like sliced beef brisket, marinated pork belly, and the spicy chicken, and a variety of seafood options. Restaurant is always full, very clean and staff is super attentive and friendly. It's was okay. The broth for the soup was delicious. The buffet style side dish was disappointing. Unclean, contaminated by other ingredients on the buffet and the sushi sits out too long. The cuts of meat weren't the best. Rice was hard. Disappointing for an Asian restaurant. Price was comparable to other kpot restaurants, but still pricey. Ordering from the tablet was nice. We were visiting GA and were so excited to try this place! It was a rough start at first, one of the hot pot heaters was slow to heat up and cook the food. The grill was not hot enough though it was turned to MAX. Our ribs and steaks were not cooking and sizzling. Our waitress took awhile for drink refills. The waitress changed out the grill plate after we continued to have issues with the temperature and we noticed the new plate was thinner and heated up immediately. One of our minor kids was charged as an adult and we caught it too late afterwards, so double check the bill. The tablet for ordering food was great and convenient! The kitchen and food runner did a great job getting all the items out to the table once the order went through on the tablet. The sauce set up was very nice and clean. I've gone here twice now and super delicious! The staff is super quick with getting food out to you and switching out the grills! I really loved their beef bulgogi and their Korean short ribs were to DIE for! If you plan on getting a hot pot, I really liked the Mushroom broth and the pho noodles were awesome! They had a super great oil, sauce, and condiments bar, I would say that smaller dishes might be useful but I loved their seaweed salad! I have been here 4 times now. The food, the service and the menu options are all awesome. And the banchan selections are also very nice. The food comes very quickly, and the staff pays close attention and brings you a new grill when needed. I went there before they had a liquor license, but now that they do their sake and soju menu is very nice and varied. I confess I have only tried the BBQ so far, But the folks choosing the Hot Pot always look like satisfied slurpers! I may try the Hot Pot next time! I should add that I walk on crutches. Went in for lunch. Not all meats were on the menu. Some were exclusive for dinner but what was available was plenty and for an all you can eat for $21 we will definitely be returning. For $5 more you could opt to include the hotpot portion of the menu as well. They have a banchan bar where you can go to retrieve the likes of sauces and kimchees, veggies and fruits and dessert. Came here to try the new groovy spot of Columbus, with my husband and a friend the vibes when you enter extremely an eccentric, the environment was very clean, as well as Eurythmics energy throughout the establishment we receded in a booth and greeted by our waiter. Who is very awesome at his job, there is so much variety for selections for products to use on the hot stone as well as the soup bases. We ordered Dr Pepper, peach lemonade, and an Arnold Palmer. One hiccup was, I asked for unsweet tea and my Arnold Palmer, and instead I was given a sweet tea, Arnold Palmer, and then a glass of unsweet tea as well, so as charged for an extra drink that I didn't want, and was given a drink that I did not order, however, the rest of the drinks were above standard bigger glasses would've helped due to the very spice levels, some drink more than others then just had to wait for a refill. The appetizer didn't have very much appetizers however, they had a copious amount of sauces that you could select from which was great Again, the amount of meat and other vegetarian options you could choose to order incredible I highly recommend this place to go a lot of good flavor combinations highly recommend the fire Szechuan soup base for those risking their taste buds it's extremely flavorful and spicy. They also have noodles of various kind to add to the soup, one other hiccup to this would be a little bit bigger of a hot table, bigger glasses, and a alcoholic menu. There is no alcohol. We tried to set up a group of 16 people for a reservation and they can only handle a table of up to eight people and they said they try to get us as close as they could. Some version of heroin for cash then Man off the street and they didn't say anyth we readit in very small print on the menu there was going to be an 18 % gratuity And then they told us That if everybody Eats the 30 buffet and one person Once the extra part of the buffet That everybody will be charged an extra ten dollars for theextra buffet. Lbecause they don't know who's going to share that it is so wrong for them to charge 15 people an extra 10 dollars that aren't even eating the barbecue or whatever you call it then on top of that Ump if you don't eatĺ all your macaroni and cheese they charge you by the noodles that are left this is not a very kosher place it's a nice place when you look at it but when you go in there they're nothing but stealing from you and then on top of that the'yre going to expect more tips so me and about a hundred people are going to boycott this place right now good luck if you go there read more

The pork belly was the best! So many sauces and accompaniments to choose from. We prefer the grill to hot pot.
