    Crispy Intestine with Dried Pepper
    Sallie W.

Pretty good Chinese takeout. Had a 30 minute drive after picking it up and the food was still piping hot! Surprised to find the crispy pork intestines here, it was pretty tasty and crispy still by the time we ate it. It could use less peppers and more intestines though. It's kind of wasteful that all the peppers in there are thrown away. The lo mein was a bit too mushy and a bit bland but still pretty good. The broccoli w fried tofu had more tofu than broccoli even though the title suggests this is mainly a broccoli dish. I would've been more satisfied if the tofu tasted better. But it had a sour taste. Not sure if that's how the tofu is supposed to taste or if it's gone bad... The dry pot was not dry. Dry pots are supposed to be a dry version of hotpot but this was wet. The flavoring was nice though. The pepper pork was okay. Overall, the food was enjoyable and portions were generous.

Our friend told me about an authentic Chinese restaurant in Harrisonburg VA some time ago. but I had my doubts until today. I knew it was a real Chinese restaurant as soon as I saw the menu. Traditional Sichuan cuisine dishes were listed. The service was warm and friendly. The atmosphere was casual, and the prices were reasonable. The food was excellent. We ordered: 4.5*Cucumber in Chili Sauce 凉拌黄瓜: excellent sauce! 4.2*Hot N Numbing Comb麻辣香锅:lots of beef tripes and lotus 4*Spicy Sour Cabbage 酸辣大白菜: big portion and not that spicy. 3.5*Pork w. Dried Tofu 辣椒香干肉丝:dry and not too spicy. 4*Braised Fish w. Tofu 豆腐斑腩煲: a good combo dish with fish fillets, veggies and pork. 3*Broccoli w/ Fried Tofu 芥蓝豆腐:simple but healthy.

We happened upon this place after leaving Costco where we fueled up for our drive back to Georgia. It was almost closing time and the place was almost empty. We ordered some egg drop soup, General Cho's chicken and some tofu vegetables. All were hot, fresh and flavorful. Service was outstanding . . . as we were the only folks dining in the place. IMHO this was average Chinese food because we're spoiled with better in Georgia.

F02. Dry Pot Style chicken, N02. Lo Mein

Hostess was very welcoming. Server was well informed and helpful. Food was amazing. Seriously delicious We got Hot Pot style chicken which was the family favorite. Lo Mein and Pepper Pork were also very tasty. Started with won ton and hot and sour soups. Liked it all.

Dining here felt like visiting old family friends. Not only was the food amazing but were were treated like special guests of the family. The sushi here is made to order and everything is fresh. You are able to customize rolls according to your taste. There are LOTS of menu item to choose from. Hot dishes, noodles, rice, and of course sushi. My favorite item on the menu thus far is the sushi rolls made with cucumber strips instead of nori and rice. Such a fun dining experience. There is ample parking because the OC aid located in a strip mall. Don't forget to ask for a hug when leaving. Our server was the sweetest little grandma. We will certainly be back maybe even just to say hello. Happy Eating Yeeps!!!

    Fresh and flavorful!

Fresh flavors that you won't find anywhere else for miles around! Enjoy an endless variety of dishes for dine in or takeout that you can enjoy for weeks and weeks without ever repeating a meal! Best of all, the caring, friendly service makes everything taste better! Oriental café is fun for groups to share family-style, but nice enough for a date night (with plenty of leftovers!)

Kani Su - crab, avocado, and cucumber with a sweet sauce

It doesn't look like much inside or outside, but the food is really great. It was recommended to us by a local who said the extra menu page had the best authentic stuff on it. We were given a bowl of crispy fried wontons with dipping sauce that was really tasty. He got a huge dish of lamb and peppers. He loved it, but it did not love him the next day - he's not used to so much spice! He also didn't realize it would serve 4 people! So he had tons of leftovers. You are supposed to get 2 or 3 dishes and share them with your table. I started with crispy skin shrimp rolls. The sauce really put those over the edge of goodness. I also got a sushi roll: Philadelphia roll and Kani Su- both were very fresh and well prepared. The Kani Su should have been shared with a table as well. It was snow crab and avocado rolled up in cucumber with a very sticky sweet sauce. I was too full to get the bubble tea I really wanted to take to go. The staff were all very sweet and had impeccable manners. I liked saying hi to the turtles in the lobby!

Love this place. They cooked it in an authentic Szechuan style. Recommend the crispy pork intestines.

The best place we have eaten all week. Singapore Noodle were perfect, and shrimp fried rice excellent. Nothing requiring additional spices.

First thing, the address is 3305 S Main St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Best Puertorican food I have…read moretasted in my 27 years of living in the USA, and I have traveled to all 50 states and looked for the best puertorican food, including main Latino hubs like Miami, Key West, New York, Texas, NJ, PA, NC, SC, CA, NV, AZ, NM. I truly mean every state including Hawaii and Alaska. There is no place I felt so connected to the gastronomy flavors of the island like Chino Criollo. A true gem. There is more to the menu than I expected. I got the pork chop combo and my wife mofongo con carne frita. Huge portions, amazing flavor, I went back in time to the #7 menu in my hometown Chinese restaurant. You have to try it to believe it. Wish Chino Criollo the best. Keep it up. See you tomorrow and next time we are in town.

I wasn't particularly impressed with my food at Chino Criollo. It was my first time having mofongo,…read moreso it was hard for me to tell if I just don't like mofongo or if I don't like how they make it. I ordered beef with broccoli, and the portion was huge. I had enough leftovers for a second dinner. The rice and fries were very plain - could use more veggies and salt respectively. The main dish itself wasn't a standout but hit the spot. My girlfriend, on the other hand, did not like her garlic chicken. The garlic taste was absolutely overwhelming, and the sauce was very thick and creamy. Not exactly what either of us were expecting from Chinese garlic chicken. She tried her best, bless her heart, but only ate maybe 1/3 of her dish and did not care to save the rest for leftovers. I would encourage you to try Chino Criollo to support local businesses, but do be careful because you might not end up getting what you expect.
