I've dined in and also ordered to go. When I'm craving duck or dim sum, I order from here. They give you generous portions. I need to try more dishes to really review this place.

Ok let me says it's been years since we have been here!! After the new owners took over it wasn't as good as before ! But now let me say! I think the food is better than it was before!! Omg the dim sum is the best I've had in Stockton!! There baked bun are alil different but good!! Service is great!! Good to see people from before still working here!! Ambiance is ok for a little place!! But over all it's great!! Check it out!! We will for sure be back to try more things !! I will put pics up for you to see!!

Oh my goodness... after Covid happened and with inflation I noticed dim sum places like china palace and dynasty started making their dim sum portions A LOT smaller, however not this place!! Dim sum size was huge or should I say like normal again! Flavor was good as well and decent prices. This place is a bit hidden tho. Only issue I had was that it could have been a little cleaner. Need to clean front doors and small little things, can make a huge difference when dining!

Mongolian beef very good a must try

Place was very busy. Inside packed with tables looks fairly clean. Served quickly and food arrived fairly fast. The pork fried rice tasted old. Very disappointing I wouldn't order the pork fried rice again. The Mongolian beef was very good the beef was NOT chewy and just the right amount of spice. The lemon chicken was cut into tiny bit size pieces but the flavor was undistinguished. I couldn't tell I was eating lemon chicken, it was a glazed unflavored fried chicken bite. Could have used more lemon flavor. The ginger chicken chow mein was also lacking flavor. Would have been really good with more ginger and maybe sou sauce. Hubby said shu mi was delicious. The steam egg custards were absolutely wonderful! Every bite full of sweet egg custard. The baked egg custard was delicious too just a little too much bread. The steam custard was 5 stars the baked egg custard was 4.5 stars. The fried rice would be 1 star for me. Lemon chicken would and a 3 star lacked flavor but nice fried bite size pieces. Loved they attempted making ginger chicken chow mein as it's not on the menu 3 stars for lacking flavor. Mongolian beef 4.5 stars great flavor and not a chewy piece to be had. Come here for the dim sum for sure!

Much improvement and the food was fresh and hot. So much to choose from and the price is so good compared to my hometown and they Bay Area. We definitely will come back when we pass by Stockton.

Go to spot for dim sum in town! The food here is good, service is attentive and great, and there's typically not a long wait. A few favorites that I like to add on is Peking spare ribs and salt and pepper chicken wings. Solid dim sum spot that I recommend to others.

This is the second time I have been here and its pretty good here! The first time, I just went with my hubby. Second time, went with my hubby and his brothers. We came in and was seated right he away. All the employees work there were attentive to us. We ordered beef and shrimp cheung fun, chicken feet, beef balls, har gown, shu mai, and black bean sauce shrimped stuff pepper. Everything was good. We had employees refill water for us without asking. Also, you can order dimsum all day. If you do order between 3-8pm, its $1 extra each other. Which is fine if you want dim sum at night! I would definitely come back here!

    Pan fried chive dumplings

Not bad dim sum. I came during lunch time on Friday and there was no wait. No carts but they have a menu you can mark to order. The har gow, shu mai, chicken feet, deep fried taro puff, and shrimp rice rolls were good. I'd order these again. Not a huge fan of the pan fried chive dumpling - the dough was too thick. I also ordered the salted egg yolk custard bun and was not impressed. The filling was scarce and the dough was a bit dense. I haven't tried any other dim sum places in Stockton so I can't compare, but this restaurant has pretty decent dim sum staples!

The service we received here was fantastic. There were only two other tables when we got there for dinner at around 4:30ish so that could have been why the service was so attentive, but regardless, it was great. The food was good. We ordered way too much: house chow mein, House Hong Kong style pan fried noodles (my favorite kind of chow mein), Mongolian beef, Wor wonton soup, the potsticker appetizer, shrimp and chive dumplings, and sesame balls. My favorites were the soup, beef, and sesame balls. Everything tasted good, but nothing really stood out. The gravy on the HK style noodles needed more of something- seasoning, msg, something. And the shrimp and chive dumplings were gigantic and had a thick glutinous rice type of wrap on them and it wasn't bad, just different than what I'm used to. I'm used to the dumpling skin being more similar to like a har gow. I'm really happy we tried something new in the area though.

Turn the clock forward a decade and guess what, the food is still outstanding and the service is still attentive and kind. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive for us so we were good and hungry when we got into town. The owner greeted us warmly and a friendly server (her son), came by to help us. We decided to order: Hot & sour soup - heaven in a big bowl. Savory broth filled with delicious ingredients. It was well flavored, not too spicy or tangy Mu shu chicken - 4 pancakes with hoisin sauce. Our server wrapped our first ones for us. The dish contained the typical scrambled egg, sliced cabbage, protein, etc and it was fresh and tasty Beef with asparagus -noted in the entry that asparagus was in season so we had to order it. Meat was tender and the asparagus was cooked beautifully House chow mein - Fried perfectly and not doused in a bunch of sauce or oil. The protein on this dish was plentiful and it was simple and delicious. I loved how they didn't add chives/green onion to these dishes. The hot & sour soup had a few little green onions for color but this is the first time I've been to a Chinese restaurant that doesn't overfill the dishes with onions (as I don't like onions). Maybe that's the reason I enjoyed everything so much. Portions are very generous! We had lots of yummy leftovers. Our server told us that two of his brothers were the chefs. My kudos to them; they certainly know how to cook!

Best Chinese restaurant in Stockton. Love their house chow mein and bbq pork buns…read more Pretty authentic!

Friday, January 9th. Approx. 6:50 PM…read more OVERVIEW: Was at Lincoln Village to do some shopping, and wanted to try this restaurant for the first time and get some to-go food. Will probably go back again to give their Dim Sum a try. PROS: - GREAT LOCATION in the middle of Lincoln Village Shopping Center & lots of available parking spaces. - Ordered the Fried Garlic Chicken, Broccoli Beef & House Special Chow Mein. Good flavor & volume for the price. - This may be commonsensical, but while it was quite cold outside on this January evening, management kept the temperature of the dining area at a warm level. I bring this point up since a lot of restaurants in Stockton & Lodi have turned the thermostats of their dining areas down to cut overhead costs, but this place kept their dining area warm & comfy. CONS: - It seems obvious that they only have one chef working in their kitchen, since it took almost 30 minutes to complete my order. Sure, they had to serve other customers dining in, as well as handle a constant flow of pick-up orders, but since it was peak order time on a Friday night, they should have more staff in the kitchen to quickly support the order volume. - While I mentioned in the "PROS" section above, the food has good flavor and volume for the price. The downside is that the overall flavors are not outstanding nor memorable, which doesn't allow for much separation with other mainstream Chinese restaurants, serving the same dishes in Stockton. SUMMARY: If you're in the Lincoln Village area, want to eat Chinese food and are not in a particular hurry, this is a good place to park the car and sit down for a while. If you are in a hurry, better to phone in your order beforehand to cut the waiting time. Don't expect exotic food presentations and flavors, but don't expect massive damage to your wallet either.
