OIP was great! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. We got the chicken almonds salad which was large and had lots of toppings (almonds, fruit, chicken, etc). It was only about $12 and definitely enough for 2-4 people. We ordered the large pie with meatball topping. I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! Ordered veal parm tonight takeout. There was no cheese on the veal parm. Very little spaghetti tonight. Won't order again.

Ordered wings from this place. They're sorta pricey for the amount of wings you get. The wings were okay. There was a bit of flavour in them but the blue cheese dip that they gave with it was more flavourful than the actual chicken wings. But it was decent tasting and I was full at the end. I am interested in trying out their other menu items or other flavours of chicken wings to see if it's the same results. read more

Well they charge a 3.00 delivery fee and they have high prices and when the delivery guy shows up they don't give you your change back. I got taken for a ride today I paid 30.00 for a large pizza. Just be warned the pizza takes over an hour to get deliverd 5min from the restaurant its bairly warm when you get it and you have to tip a generous amount and the delivery driver isn't even the one who cooked the pizza. read more

Sayre PA Original Italian Pizza location, dine in. I've consistently received good food, generally stuck to pizza, salad, bread and something with red sauce. The kitchen and waitstaff have been there a long time. Service is quick and there is a huge menu. Recently, like every other restaurant, prices have gone up. Plus cash is preferred but they accept most cards. Despite that, it continues to be my favorite local pizza place. read more

I figured I would get the nurses a nice treat for everything that they do, and this is what I received. The pizza was absolutely disgusting. It had an inch of liquid on top of it with everything running off one side of the pizza. The Cannolis were absolutely runny . This business should be absolutely embarrassed by what they serve . The place was closed by the time I realized this so I took the food that was not eaten the next day and the man at the counter wanted to be argumentative about me returning the disgusting food that they served the next day. Gotta tell you guys; I'm not at all impressed. I'm staying at a hotel that Google maps is telling me is five minutes away from OIP . Girl at hotel desk recommended OIP so I gave them a call at 6:46 to order a salad and order of chicken wings from a mono-toned woman who didn't seem at all interested in dealing with me. 59 minutes later I got a call from a guy apologizing for the delay but the restaurant had gotten slammed on this Wednesday night, and that the driver was on his way.. 41 minutes later at 8:36, I got a call indicating that my food was in the lobby. While the food was good, apparently, whoever packed it (even though it was going to a hotel room) didn't see the need to include a fork or a napkin for the now room temperature food.. As a frequent business traveler who spends a lot of time here, I have to relay that there's really decent restaurants in this part of the world. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be one of them. I have had New York City Pizza. If you can't get to New York, you have to try this pizza. I love the thin crust, with x-tra cheese and tomatoes. Even their original pizza is amazing. I've been in for lunch a few times and while the food doesn't blow me away, it's a welcome change from my bagged lunch on occaision. This company lies! They advertise that they have char broiled grilled chicken wings, and they do not. I ordered these wings expecting them to be grilled and not fried because I have heart disease and I did not want to eat fried wings. They told me they were char grilled. When they arrived they were clearly fried. When I called to complain and ask for the manager he told me that they deep fry them then put them on the grill. I made it clear to him that that is deceptive advertising, and he said he didn't really care because that's what the owners want. Would not give me even a partial refund. What a scam! I just got charged 50 cents to have mayonnaise on my sub. I know it's not a lot, but 50 cents for mayonnaise. Come on! Parrish's Deli is a block away and never been charged for mayonnaise. I work nearby, in a busy department. We place huge orders often. Sometimes multiple times a day, and that's just one department in an enormous building with many big departments. Everything is always great, on time, always there, not usually short. If anything's not in order, we just let them know. Good tasting food, good pricing, good delivery times and personnel. TERRIBLE. Stayed at a hotel in Sayre, PA for Labor Day weekend 2014. Not many places to choose from when it came to food, but were given a menu for this place at our hotel. Ordered a Stromboli and chicken cheese steak for delivery to hotel. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait, which was ok considering it was a Saturday night. Food arrived over an hour later. Once we got back to our room with the food, we were disappointed there were no napkins, or silver wear in the bag.. Once we opened up our food, I was surprised to see beef instead of chicken on my sub. The food was wrapped it foil, but it was ice cold. So obviously it had to of been sitting for quite some time. Called the restaurant asked to speak with manager. Explained our order took longer than usual, given wrong food, and that we were unhappy about not having napkins or silver wear... especially because we had the order delivered to a hotel. Wasn't like we were at home and easily had these things. I asked for a side of mayo and had to use my finger to put it on my cold sub. Manager was some what helpful over the phone, offered for us to come in the next day and have lunch on him. I was hoping for some type of discount off of my bill, but it was a kind gesture. Told him we were not from the area and would be leaving early, but we would stop by. He informed us he would not be there the next day, but assured us he would let the other staff members know we were coming... Stopped by the next day, explained the manager told us to stop by. We were looked at as if we were crazy.. Manager on duty was rude, said he knew nothing about this. All in all a very poor experience. Excellent food, not so great service! I don't know what happened to the older sweet waitresses that were so attentive and kind, but these younger waitresses seem to have no idea what they're doing. It has been many years since I have had a stromboli from OIP. Tonight was a real let down! 1) the sauce taste nothing like it did in the past. 2) they down sized the the product. 3) people behind the counter should not be eating. That is a health department violation. 4) I should have to pay your paper cost because you have those God awful look boxes and flyers. My business travels take me to Sayre several times a month. OIP has been my favorite lunch spot for over 25 years. Recently they remodeled a couple years ago and it's clean, friendly and the food is excellent. The staff is very good to me and I enjoy the experience. An ok Italian pizzeria with an updated dining area. Portions have been cut down since the remodeling a couple of years ago. Pizza good. Lasagna very mushy as if they used "oven ready" noodles. They really don't know how to prepare veal. Don't know if it was a formed breaded patty out of the freezer or just badly prepared. read more

So now I have to find a new pizza place in the valley bc this establishment is trash. I ordered two pizzas, a half dozen honey garlic wings, and cheesy bread for me and my family tonight. The first time my wife picked it up the pizzas were right but they gave us somebody's sub and fries, which we didn't realize until we got home and opened it up. So we called them to tell them we were bringing the sub and fries back and they said they would give us our honey garlic wings and cheesy bread. When we went back again we could see them behind the counter trying to make sure everything was good with our order so when they brought it out to us and apologized for messing up we assumed it would be good. When we got back home they didn't put any blue cheese in my box with the wings and they put absolutely no sauce on the wings, no honey garlic, no garlic, just plain wings.
