Vacuums barely work, if they work. The wash quality sucks, dryers don't work. Pay extra for tires and wheels and they come out looking just as bad as when you went in. I paid seven dollars for the deluxe wash. I don't think it is any different than the four-dollar wash. It did not do a good job cleaning my car. My car is still dirty in spots. Also, I would like to point out that when the drying portion started, there was still soap on my car. I had to spray my windshield washers to get the dried soap off of my windshield. read more

Pathetic to say the least. Do not come here. We felt so robbed after coming here for a $6 wash. It broke down multiple while we were in it the first time. The secondary scrubber wasn't working so we were offered to go through again for free. BIG MISTAKE. It fully broke down while we were waiting in line again and the 1 worker there was screaming, swearing and threatening vehicles that weren't pulling up properly. I understand it's frustrating, but don't take it out on your employees. I think this place needs a heavy repair or needs to be closed. The equipment is falling apart and it appears that they are fully aware of it. Your car comes out full of soap still, smeared, and some areas haven't even been hit with water. Incredibly disappointment. Spend the money to fix your equipment or close the place down. You're robbing the community. read more

I agree with the other posts. I went there on a Friday afternoon, and there were a few cars ahead of me, but not that many. And the line was not moving. A man came out to collect the money. I'd never been there before so I didn't know what their prices or offers were (other than the $3.50 on their sign), so that's what I got. It wasn't until I pulled up that I saw the sign tucked in the corner and the other kinds of washes they offer. I sat for a few minutes until we started moving. I noticed a sign INSIDE the wash area that said they take credit cards. Then, that turned out to be how the car in front of me was paying, and it took a long time for the man to process it while a young woman did the initial cleaning with the brush & water. Then, the man joined her and they let the car through. They had me pull up uncomfortably close to that car. They did the brush thing & sent me through the car wash. When I came out, I started to go behind the car I'd been behind before, but 2 young women started screaming & waving at me to pull to the other side of it, so I did. One of them threw a wet towel on the windshield and started to...well, "dry" isn't the right word, since it was a wet towel...move the towel around. The other girl went to the other side & started to do the same thing, put her wet towel OVER the driver's side mirror but didn't wipe it at all, and made a few cursory swipes on the side of the car. I waved my hand and she started tapping on my window. She then told me that it was $1.00 for the towel dry. I told her I didn't have a dollar (I'd given all of my singles to the first man), that THEY told me to pull over (I'd assumed that there was no such service & was prepared to drive out) and there was nothing saying that there was a charge. She very rudely and indignantly said "There's signs all over the place". Well, if there are, they were not in sight. I drove off after telling her that she's not going to get a lot of customer with that attitude. When I got home, I saw what a truly bad job this car wash had done; the entire back was all smeared and didn't really look like it had been washed at all. Avoid this place like the plague. Better to drive with a dirty car than to put up with this kind of treatment. read more

Very disappointing. I would have given them a zero star rating if I could. The only reason I went to this place was because it is near my work. The car wash is $3.50, and you have to pay an extra dollar to get your car dried? If it was a adequate job I wouldn't complain but they use old dirty towels that leave piece of cloth on your car. Not to mention the girl who drys your car is VERY Rude. Wow how does this 21 year old get away with being so rude to customers and people older then her?! She had the audacity to yell at me!? I seriously payed to get yelled at by a kid. Not to mention One of the employees tried to pressure me into the "best wash", (which is 7$) repeatedly asking me if I was "sure" I wanted the the "good" wash instead. After I said no multiple times he still didn't get it. Awful experience and service as they left dirt and soap on my back window as it was obvious that they try to use as little water in a attempt to save money. 4.50$ and I now I need to rewash my car! read more

Terrible! The soap want even rinsed off and the dryer didn't blow any water off. Then without telling me there would be a charge, they offered a towel dry. It consisted of hitting my car with already wet towels. I will never return. read more

I wish I had seen the reviews before pulling in...what a terrible experience. The two young ladies' attitudes were so poor that I wish I could give 0 stars. The owner would do better to have a machine collect the money, thanks to the workers tonight I will NEVER return and will tell everyone I know to keep their money. Went to the car wash on Sunday afternoon, got home and noticed the entire passenger side of my car was scratched terribly. Then later that night noticed marks all over the car from their dryers, they scratched the car too and left scrape marks on the hood and trunk. That's unacceptable! I hope they're open when I get out of work tomorrow, because if they don't get my car fixed, I will be suing!!!!! read more

What a pathetic joke of a business,they have 3 tiers of washes starting at $5 going up to $8,so I paid for the $8 full service.tire shine,wax,ect. So I gave the guy a tip of 2 bucks and asked them to make it "extra shiny" . When I got to the end of the conveyer belt with soap and suds dripping off my car waiting for someone to dry it off and shine the tires only for them to tell me after that their not drying,shining or waxing today,so I asked "isn't that what the $8 wash includes" they replied "yes normally but we're not doing that today" then began to walk back inside,so I stopped him and asked "can I get a refund on the additional services I didn't receive l" and he said " all sales are final", it doesn't matter cause it's so little money but all in all it just felt like a big ole rip off on top of the worst person to person customer service I've ever seen. Go to the Jax in Southfield or the self wash in Berkley this places is a joke. read more

I thought it was just me. My experiences are exactly the same as every one of these other reviews. I live right down 13 Mile so I pop in there to basically get the dust or the salt off the car. I go to a hand car wash in the city on Wednesdays because it's ladies day and I can get a $20 hand wash for $12 plus tip. But this car wash I have been going to for almost 10 years because as I said it's down the street. Every time I go there the person who collects for the wash tries to upsell you, which I guess is their job. But once I tell you, no I just want to rinse the dust off, stop talking. And they do try to make you pull up right to the bumper of the car in front. And I act like I don't hear them because a few years ago on a brand new vehicle I'd had for less than a week they had me pull up so close that the automatic conveyor belt made me hit the car in front. There was no major damage but I tried to tell them it wasn't necessary because there was no one behind me. But the worst of the service there is the towels girls. It's not bad enough that they do a terrible job but they have horrible attitudes and like to yell at people. What they didn't know when they met me was if you yell at me, I will yell back at you. They talk to you like you're stupid and like they're Rhodes Scholars working at the car wash just for fun. read more

This is only my 3rd Yelp review but am compelled to share this horrific experience! Wish I could have given a zero. Sign says they accept credit cards. I was only paying with a card because I am getting double points during the holidays. As I am handing my card to the girl, she says 'I don't have time for this'. She slams my side view mirror closed and says just go through and if I want a dry it's $1. I was so taken aback that I did not react. I paid the $1 for the dry. I asked the young man what the girl's name but he did not know. I circled back to the car wash. I asked the girl what her name was and she told me that they do not give out that information! She said 'I gave you a free car wash'. I told her that I didn't need a free car wash. She said that it wasn't worth her time to run a credit card for a basic car wash. I let her know that had she told me that I would have gotten a more expensive wash or paid cash. The owner needs to know that his/her customer service is atrocious and that the employees are giving away business if they don't fell like swiping a card. How many times per day do they 'don't have time' to do their job. I certainly will not be back and I will spread the word. Happy Holidays! read more

Customer service nightmare! Paid for the $5 wash, the guy guiding us in was aggressively waving me forward despite the other employee being right in front of my car using the brush in the car in front of me. Wash was so-so, I'm not mad about it it cost me $5. When we exited the wash there were cars lined up preventing us from leaving. The lady drying cars signaled us to pull to the right behind another car. She did a crap job "drying" the car and was slapping the towel across the windshield in an attempt to dry it. After she stood at the driver window glaring at me waiting for a tip. I rolled down my window to give her a dollar, opened my wallet and saw I gave my last singles to pay for the wash. I apologized. She then yelled at us calling us "Human trash". Mind you my window is down with my 5 year old daughter in the back. If it wasn't for my daughter being in the car I would have got out and made a scene on the side of 13 Mile. Screw this place. I don't typically let strangers insult me, so why would a give a business my money only to be treated like that? I would give this place negative stars if I could. Word of advice: if you are in the business of providing services to customers, you need to have some customer service skills. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The car wash equipment whacked and cracked my passenger mirror. No response from the owner/management. They ask for a very detailed incident report that states they'll respond in 20 days. No response and no one answers and no voicemail for the phone number they provided. The young man working at the time claimed he didn't know who owned the business he worked for or who his supervisor was. Warning, they have approximately 25 locations in the area $3.50 car wash. Their equipment barely washes the car, the blow dryers are useless and the staff will only make a feeble attempt at a prewash ensuring your car leaves with the same dirt on it. If you pay an extra $1, they will use filthy towels to smear that dirt around and send you on your way. I wouldn't bother if I were you. read more

The employee who was servicing me was completely rude, disrespectful, intolerable, unacceptable, and our right pitiful. She spoke to me as if I was nothing, her language and her tone were rude for no reason. She was hitting my car with a towel and I politely asked her to allow me to do it if she couldn't reach it, she got an even bigger attitude and snatched it away saying I can't let you use these. She then turned away and THREW MY MONEY ON THE GROUND! Yes you read it right, THREW MY MONEY ONTO THE GROUND. After leaving I called the manager and he was pretty inconsiderate to tell me "a towel dry is a courtesy, our competitors don't dry as well as we do" he totally downplayed the incident, though he referred to her actions as unacceptable he continued to make excuses instead of owning responsibility stating he was going to give her the "benefit of the doubt" and she may get written up. This was a outright disrespect and I hope that people read this and expect TRASHY service here! read more

My side view mirror was damaged by some wash equipment on February 8, 2018. I pulled out of the wash area and immediately swung around to speak to an attendant. I filled out a damage report and expected to hear from someone within 48 hours. Today is April 18 and I have not heard from anyone who will provide insurance info so I can get my mirror repaired. I have called the store manager, Jermaine, many many times. He says he is passing the info on to his unnamed superior, but I get no response. I have been taking my car here since 2011 with no problem, so the damage is obviously the fault of their equipment. The repair cost to my mirror will be just under $500. So beware - if your vehicle sustains damage, it's all on you! read more
