I like Original Thai because they deliver and the food is good. I've ordered from here multiple times and they always deliver in a timely manner. I really like their panang curry, crab fried rice, pad thai, and pad see eew, per usual. So my only complaint is... If you order for delivery and order 4 items or more, we were told by our delivery guy that you need to request for the free eggrolls or else they won't give it to you. Now that is sneaky. Good service but their food is not really an authentic Thai recipe, it's missing some ingredients like kaffir lime, lemongrass... ordered tom kha ga they put too much galanga & tamarind. This is one "go to" place if you're looking for a "home cook" Thai meal. Good amount of parking space available as this plaza get so pack that often times there's not an immediate parking spot in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located directly opposite Del Taco and within the same complex. One of my fave dish is the Prik King. read more

This place is really small, a truly hole-in-the-wall type of place with 4 tables, maybe 5 total. We ordered shrimp pad-see-ew, chicken panang curry, pad Thai lunch special, pork BBQ ribs lunch special and the boat noodle soup (we were really really hungry). The chicken panang curry was really good but had very little chicken in it. Shrimp pad-see-ew, also good, had 5 shrimps in it. There were 2 small ribs smothered in sauce in the rib lunch special (meh) and pad Thai was mushy and overcooked, also with very little chicken in it. Boat noodle soup was mediocre at best but I guess I'm not being fair since I'm not a huge fan of it. Portions are okay but for what we paid, there really should have been more meat in them. We did get comped 2 free Thai iced teas which was a nice surprise but I doubt we'll be coming back. read more

The service here is horrible! I will never eat at this place again. The workers here doesn't care if you've waited too long for your food or even greet you when you walk in. I've been at this place twice and both time the service is slow. We waited about 25 mins. for 3 bowls of boat noodles and almost 50 mins for sticky rice and sweet mango. The food at its best is average and I rather drive to a different city for better and faster service. I would have given this half a star if I could. Just came back from my first visit to this tiny restaurant. And although it may not have a lot of seating, the food is good and decently priced. We ordered the tom yum shrimp soup, pad thai, spicy shrimp and scallops, and tangerine chicken. And all of the items were really good...fresh ingredients, cooked to order, and TASTY! Because of the small size of the place, I think this place is better suited for take-out or delivery (they do deliver). But in a pinch I wouldn't hesitate to stop in with the whole brood. To top it off, everyone working there is super friendly and helpful. I even got a free re-fill on my thai iced tea (unheard of at any other restaurant I've been to). Horrible serving amount very small portions. We ordered Pad Thai combination, fried rice combination, and half barbque chicken. Total shrimp in all 4, and delivery was over an hour. 2nd time with them and I like them. Place is really small but cute. I ordered the yellow chicken curry (mild) for my dad and he loved it. I got myself their Thai ice tea. It was OK. I've been visiting this area since I was a kid because I have extended family that live here. However, I just recently discovered this place because I moved to the area. I really love the food and I've ordered 3x since moving here earlier this year. The food is really good and I'm very happy about the speed in which it delivers. Update from my previous review: this place used to be really good. I recently went in and the food is totally different. The curries and noodles are not the same. Lean more towards sweet consistency. The food made my father sick afterwards. This place used to be good but it almost seems like it's a different chef and maybe even new management. I usually get their curry dishes which are always really good BUT everything here is super oily especially the curries. I tried their pad thai take out and it was NOT good. Anyways, it is a good mom and pop restaurant with friendly service. Food is super oily and probably unhealthy BUT that's what makes their food so good..... I guess. It is definitely a Thai place you should try. They have raised their prices so it is comparable to other Thai restaurants (9-10 dollars a dish). Service: WOMP! We sat down to read the menu's before we ordered. When we were done looking at the menus, me and my friends were all standing in front of the counter waiting for our order to be taken. I swear there was three people behind the counter talking to each other and just starring at us. When they looked at us, they went back to talking to each other and then talked to 2 other people that were probably employees there too eating on the small tables. Im usually a patient person, but geeez we were kind of in a time crunch to get ready for something. This place may not be the most architecturally pleasing place to dine in, but the food is delicious and authentic. Service was good (well since it was just me and my bf that was practically there, don't know how it'd be like if it was actually busy). I got the boat noodle, which was probably the best I've ever had. The meat was super tender and the broth was dark, thick, and full of beefy flavor. My bf got the panang, which was also bursting with flavors with a very creamy texture. They are not skimpy with the portions, which is always a plus. The prices aren't so bad either- cheaper than most other thai restaurants. $6.95 for the boat noodles and & 8.50 for the panang that can probably feed 2 people. Not baaaad! Oh and the thai teas are refillable! Overall, definitely our new go to place for thai food. read more

I love it, free refill on thai iced tea! The Pad See Ew was great, had the tom yum coconut seafood soup, bbq chicken, and beef green curry. This little shop is definitely a little hole in the wall, almost past it up and the GPS was not helping either, telling me to go past the plaza and U turn - it's right behind Del Taco everyone. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely return for some thai cravings. Tried to order online. The computer won't let me. I called. No one picked up the first time. I called again. This time, a lady answers and tells me the problem is the computer. Asked me if I wanted to place an order. I asked if they can deliver. She sounded unsure. Something about the computer not working (GPS???). She tried to get my address. Could not spell it (though I spelled it for her VERY. SLOWLY.) three times. I finally gave up and told her I'll call another time. I'm thinking this will be a in-person visit only. One of the great services they have is delivery. I'm not a huge fan of delivery due to food arriving lukewarm and at times cold but every order so far has been on point. We usually order the chicken pad see-eew noodles and tom kha soup which is very flavorsome. In addition, we'll get random dishes as well. me and the bf were going to del taco one night..and decided to get thai instead..=D we ate there..and i got the pad see ew and he got the crab fried rice..both were delicious and enough for our lunch the next day..this place is owned and ran by a cute thai couple..the man is always there and very helpful and nice. refillable soda fountain and decent prices = ill be back..=D..we went back a second time for pad thai and yellow curry with beef =)..YUMMY..i gotta try the garlic pepper beef next time..=D they get pretty busy with phone in orders/orders to go/delivery orders..sooo if u wana call urs in too it will cut down the wait since they make everything to order! love it..its making me hungry for more thai! read more

This hidden little gem is the best spot for lunch! I discovered it and loved it! It's a very small place but their food is big! Lunch specials are definitely a perfect portion and a great price. I love the very warm welcoming I have received here. They are all very nice and attentive. You can see when they are cooking the food which is also pretty neat! Mom and pop thai food. The Pad Kee Mao is delicious! Lunch special comes with a scoop of rice, side salad, egg roll, and entree. Price and portion size are great - I often find that other thai restaurants with lunch specials have really really really small portions that dont really fill you or sides that are lacking. This restaurant, however, doesn't have that problem. Good for sit in or take out or delivery. They're really fast. I will be back to try their tom yum and tom kha soups. read more
