Their customer service has been really good. I really value having them protect my home.

I simply asked for someone to come spray for wasps one time for a couple hundred bucks. I ended up having two Orkin representatives and a manager come to my house for over an hour and a half doing a full home inspection. I asked if I could just do the spray and they said they had to do the inspection first, they then sat me down at my kitchen table and proceeded to try and sell me $30,000 of home improvements trying to scare me that my home was in such bad condition, It was very uncomfortable, and they never even offered to do the service I originally called them for. I was very disappointed in the whole overall experience; I have been in sales my whole life and I was still disappointed; I couldn't imagine how it would feel to someone who hasn't been in a sales role like that. read more

Got my insulation replaced and it's working great so far but the whole sales process was annoying. These guys dont stick to their word and will say you have 90 days to pay but what they dont tell you is that it will be sent to collections during that period so I ended up paying over $1000 more than quoted. You have to sign stuff on their iPads without being able to read what you're signing. Just shady. The technicians that come to service my house every quarter are ok but sales and management are shady. Wouldn't use again. read more

I requested a qoute twice over a month span and got no response. I guess that says it all for me. We used them previously in MD and I thought a loyal customer would get a response. I guess they do t need my business. read more

What a bunch of yahoo's! They have cancelled and rescheduled every time they come! I have to take time off work to stay home and then they cancel like they are too busy but today, the manager guy told me that the technician was 2.5 hours away. The last time we scheduled an appointment, I told Orkin that if they cancel again, I will find another company to use and demand my money back. Then they acted shocked when I told them not to reschedule and asked how to get a refund because I still have pests. The last Orkin guy that came out acted like the first guy that came out did not do his job as he did not leave any traps! The first guy just spot treated and the bugs just relocated! Duh! That's why I called Orkin because I could not get ahead of them. I thought they were more reputable but just doing what they can to get your money! DONT USE THEM!! read more

I could not be more disappointed with Orkin, I used to use and trust them when I lived in Hawaii but this experience was a complete waste of time and money. I was VERY clear from the beginning, if they cannot handle wasps I did not want to sign up with them. I was reassured YES, they can. Then the technician comes out and says there are no options to treat them. So I speak with the manager who says YES, they can treat them. The same technician comes back 2 months later at my request because of wasps and says NO, there is nothing he can do. On top of this, he barely treats anything, a week later we've got spiders in the house and wasps everywhere. Like I said, a complete waste of time and money. read more

This company acquired my local pest control a few years ago. I pay them every month. The last week I've killed 1 adult roach per night, and I have a very clean house. Didn't realize I haven't been seeing the technician at my house until it was too late....probably 6 months. Nobody has treated the interior of my house, and the gates to my backyard are locked....(perhaps they spray the front yard when nobody is home, couldn't tell you?!?!). Fraud, rip-off, and every other term you can think of. Do not use this company. read more

Been noticing an ant infestation in my bathroom. Started doing research one night and came across Orkin online. I decided to give them a call to get some info and cost. Well right after I gave my address, I got "oh we don't service apartments in your area" then practically got hung up on. Pretty sad when a company restricts where they do service. Oh well. read more

I'm extremely dissatisfied with Orkin service having been a customer to treat an existing pest problem with our new home. They simply put glue traps in easy to reach places and sprayed around the house twice. This cost us $200 for something we could have purchased from Lowes for $30. The people were nice enough but were extremely resistant to going in the crawl space below the house or in the attic. Our cable technician has been in the attic twice. I finally gave up trying and cancelled. They're goal is to do as little work as possible while collecting their fees. I would get quotes and specific details from other services or just take care of it yourself. read more

I can't believe that I spent my hard earn money to not have the pest control at all. The first time I called they sent someone out asap. But I guess that was because I was a new customer. I paid my $90 and was told that a tech will be back the second week in November. The second week came and a tech called saying he will come by, but he didn't show. He called a few days later saying he will come by but never showed up. So I called the actual location to see about having a different tech come out but nobody answer the phone and I left a message but nobody ever returned my call. So I called a few days later and left another message and said that id someone didn't call me back then I will take my business some where else. Somebody finally called me back and had scheduled for a tech to come out Tuesday (11/22/16) between 3pm and 5pm. Again nobody showed up. I am done with Orin now because of this. I have a 2years old and a newborn in my home and I really don't want to deal with pests making my children sick. I will definitely be calling corporate to see about getting my money back and finding a new company to go with. Since I am a veteran, I will make sure none of my military buddies go with Orin regardless of the city and state. I really hope nobody else to with the company either. read more
