I had a bridge done at this place less than two years ago, it has fallen 2 times since then. I have complained from day one that it does not feel right. But since they no more than I do or feel wha I feel while I eat which is pain cause I can barely eat on that side. is normal. That breach which I paid out of pocket 3,000 plus because the insurance did not covered does not have a warranty. This is a great place for cleanings and fillings. I use to go here 4 times a year, but then my insurance changed boo. So now I go for my two cleanings a year and any fillings I need done. It's always quick and easy and I never have a problem when I'm here with anything. read more

This new practice thrives off of deceiving their patients and purposely. As a patient, be aware that while they will address your immediate concerns, and give you subpar treatment. They will intentionally exacerbate problems that result in substantial financial burdens. Throughout the treatment, they employ distraction therapy methods to shift your focus towards the luxury experience of receiving a massage at the dentist, rather than the substantial bills you're about to incur.They will unnecessarily find an abundance of cavities that aren't actually there. They will pressure you to get the cavities filled quickly and try to convince you that your teeth are falling out of your mouth. They will intentionally perform a sloppy job filling your cavity to prompt the need for a root canal or implant. It is in your best interest to get a second opinion. These crooks will take advantage of your situation so you have to pay out of pocket and keep coming back. They defend their services on Google reviews, claiming to provide adequate treatment, and actively suppress any negative feedback they receive. read more

I scheduled a appointment cause I was having tooth pain. Upon coming in and seeing the dentist, he recommended I go on a antibiotic cause I had a infection. I was told to take if and once I ran out to come back in so they can pull the tooth and the infection should be gone. When he was trying to pull the tooth I still felt everything he was doing. I told him that I was feeling everything and he still proceeded to do the pulling. After my pulling I was in severe pain a few days later to where I literally went to the ER cause I thought something has happened. Apparently he did not clean out the infection like he should have and the infection was exposed causing me to have massive pain. Never going here again or recommending this place to anyone. read more

Orlando Dental Office is a scam. They will not tell you that your insurance will not cover a cleaning or procedure until you finish and is checking out and ask you for the payment. As others have commented; I went to Dr Gilman for years and trusted him & the staff for my family's care. A few years ago, as he was transitioning the practice to ODC, I fractured a tooth. Dr Gilman referred me to the new group. They did an extraction, root canal, and bridge. I informed the new dentist(s) that the bridge did not fit well, had pain, & sensitivity for 3 years. With every visit, you saw a different dentist who didn't know you or your history. Even trying to get a specific dental hygienist became impossible! Recently, I had severe pain and transferred to a new dentist. I was told there was cavity left under the tooth, root canal was not done properly & appears a piece of the tooth was left. Please get a 2nd opinion if currently at this office before you allow any work to be done!!! Better yet, transfer to another office now!!! I am now paying out thousands of dollars to repair this damage that could have been avoided by referring me out to a specialist or offering other options such as an implant. The new practice is HORRIBLE! Was a patient of Dr Gillman's for years, then he sold it to these "dentists" and have had nothing but problems. They talked me into getting all my old silver fillings removed and replaced.. I had NO issues but they still talked me into it, now 1 month after getting the new filling I'm in pain every time I drink cold liquids, I told the dentist about it and his response was, go see an Endodontist, you will probably needed a root canal..... WHAT?? I was fine till you over drilled my tooth and hit a nerve!! I went to another dentist and he confirmed I need a root canal because they drilled too much out... Ok, so who is paying for this root canal and my pain and suffering and inconvenience?? Oh ya... ME!! Do not go here!! The Hygienist (Holly) is the best but the dentist have no clue. They also charged me $250 for the visit and submitted my insurance. My insurance company said I'm covered 100% and I didn't need to pay a penny.. now I have to fight to get my $250 back! read more

The worst. Filled a cavity that wasn't really a cavity. When all i wanted to see them for was veneers. They spent all of my insurance money on stupid items rather than what i wanted. I had been a patient of Dr Gilman for over 25 years and trusted him. But in the last few years he began transferring his responsibilities to others and preparing to retire, and after a terrible experience i have decided to go elsewhere. I am not the kind of person who readily writes negative reviews, but i feel i need to warn you. My experience has been more like the reviews on yelp, being told i need work i don't need, treated disrespectfully, and being billed improperly. About two years ago, I made an appointment for my annual checkup with dr Gilman. When i showed up they had, without telling me, assigned a new dentist to me. I was never told her credentials or her experience. She told me i needed several teeth worked on, which seemed odd after only one year that i would suddenly need that much done. I decided to have the one urgent tooth done. It involved a root canal or similar, so i really wanted the dentist i knew and trusted, but again they had this new dentist do it. I would think they would at least tell me something about this young dentist. But i was never given any information about her experience - even after i asked- that would relieve my anxiety, especially since i have had bad experiences with dentists in the past. I was very nervous, then when she cut my lip with the drill i was even more nervous! When it was time to go back to have the crown put on, my husband called the office and they said Dr Gilman would be doing that part. I was relieved. But when i showed up, it was the same dentist! The front desk had communicated incorrectly, which is not unusual these days because i have found they are increasingly disorganized. She finished my tooth,i paid in full my part of the bill they told me i owed, happy to be finally done. I complained about their telling me Dr Gilman would do it then he didn't, so dr Gilman called me. He was polite and apologized, saying their office was experiencing some communication breakdown and they were trying to improve that. But i dont recall any apology that i was suddenly passed on to another dentist without asking if i was okay with that. He also said it's common for dentists to cut lips with the drill, and she was an excellent dentist. Well over a year later, i received a bill for over $900!! Even though they should have my permanent address on file, it was sent to an address i had about ten years ago. A friend lives there now and gave it to me. Their organization system seems to be lacking . Apparently they didn't submit my bill to my insurance company for over six months, during which time our employer changed to another insurance company so it was no longer covered. When i paid my part at the office, i was told that that took care of it. It was their negligence in filing that resulted in the insurance company not paying, but they continue to send me bills for that amount. At least now they have my correct address, after i wrote to them about why i wasnt going to pay it. This is a huge headache and, especially after all the poor treatment i received there,i don't plan to pay over $900 for their long delayed filing with my insurance. Other reviews on here are consistent with my experience, where people say they were charged too much or told to get dental work they didn't need. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. read more

I was a patient Dr. Gillman for decades and now billing errors (multiple events) and poor service made us quit using these offices. An email sent with backup documentation was sent in Feb of 2018 requesting an explanation about a billing error, was finally responded by their offices in MAY OF 2019! After my last procedure, I had to go to another dentist to correct the work that was done Orlando Dental Center. After multiple visits to their offices to remedy it...without success... getting only a "it is healing nicely", one visit to another dentist office took care of the issue. I went for an appointment with Dr Gillman over a year ago. Turned out he had sold his practice, so I was moved to Dr Kim. I needed a tooth pulled, so I set up the appointment. I truly don't know what she did while in my mouth. She pulled the tooth, while doings damage. I have been on antibiotics ever since. Back to back infections. I went to have her check it in a few weeks, because I could tell something wasn't quite right. She came in the room, looked at my tooth and said it looked great, the sent me on my way. I needed another tooth removed a couple months later, Dr Gillman ( already completely healed)felt so bad about bones sticking out of my jaw, he said that all his years in dentistry that had never happened. She stood right next to him and did not acknowledge her part. The problem, they all new I have stage 4 cancer, but really don't care about quality of life. read more

I am saddened by the changes made to this office, previously owned by Dr. Gilman. I was given a $1000 treatment plan on my first visit with the new dr. A follow up to a specialist revealed that the $1000 treatment plan would not have saved my tooth. The new staff have been dishonest with me about being providers in my insurance network. When I mailed documents stapled to a check for payment on my account, requesting my X-rays be sent to a new provider, they cashed the check and "lost" my documents requesting my information be sent to a new provider. Getting my records from this office has been a nightmare. They claim they follow their own "office policy" and not the Florida Department of Health's regulations. There are great dental providers in the Orlando area, this is not one of them. read more

I went to Dr. Gillman for over 15 years. The folks he sold his practice to are dishonest. They wanted to do a bunch of xrays...more than normal. They told me they needed it for their digital files and that is was covered in my routine exam or would be covered by their office since they were converting their files. Guess what...it was not covered in the routine exam or their office and they sent me a bill. The person I called about the bill told me that they were just doing their job and offered no resolution. This office also overcharged a family member for flouride rinse that was not needed. We got a bill for an additional fee for the rinse though we already paid for it at the office. What has me so upset is that I went in for a filling to be repaired and get my teeth cleaned on another occasion recently, they neglected to tell me that they no longer took my insurance. I had been a patient of Dr Gillman for 13 years, he had told me last yr he was gonna cut back a bit and get closer to retirement. I was a little hesitant to anyone new in my mouth. Dr Kim and her assistants are top notch and listen to your concerns. The front staff will answer your questions as needed and as far as insurance goes, I'm guessing most dental plans will be covered after they get most insurance companies updated with the name change with Dr Gillman. Our family has been patients of Dr. Gillman for over 25 years. With the change in the ownership and change to Orlando Dental Center, we have been disappointed. My first visit they took pictures and applied fluoride, which was new, and neither was covered by insurance. Their appointment system is now texting appointments, but has been wrong on the dates or which dentist we would see. My daughter had to reschedule for over a month later because they had texted her the wrong day for her appointment. Then, six months after her last appointment the new dentist found six cavities! It seems like they try to maximize billing. We are probably switching, so it's a real loss to us. read more

Dr. Riano is amazing and she genuinely cares for her patients. She makes sure everything is right before letting you go. The staff there is very supportive and accommodating. I went to this office because a friend told me they were awesome...even after I read the reviews. Well, the reviews were closer to how I am feeling now than the friend. First off the dentist..Dr KIM was awesome. I have no concerns with her treatment except that I should have been given an RX for the infection but since I had been on antibiotics for another issue..she didn't. However, I received my EOB from Delta Dental and they indicated I didn't owe the $536 I had paid...when I called I was told that the BONE GRAFT was not billed as it was not covered. I was not aware of this at the time of service. I was advised by Wendy that I signed the documentation to pay the costs not covered by the INS. I don't recall seeing the BONE GRAFT was not covered. I have asked for a copy of the paper. This visit costs well over $700 w/my ins and my oop payments. My son, went to another office, had 2 extractions and 2 bone grafts done, and had OOP pmt of less than $300. I had one extraction and 1 bone graft. I feel I was mislead and under the circumstances of the visit; I was taken advantage of. My ignorance has cost me...but I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS OFFICE BECAUSE I FEEL DUPED. THANK YOU. read more
