It looks like a typical deli with different stations for different items like a coffee station, juice station, sandwich station, etc. The areas are kept clean. I went up to the lady at the register and ask for a breakfast platter. I just ordered bacon and eggs (over easy) and tea. I waited at the table. I made my own tea at the coffee station. When I got it I noticed they put cheese on it. I don't remember asking for it but I just took it. I paid $13.50 for everything. The cheese on the over easy eggs was strange but the eggs were done well. They were generous with the bacon. There were 4 or 5 slices and made the way I liked it, crispy. Orlando's used to be my go to deli. They had great turkey. We ate there all the time in high school. Stopped ordering from there for quite sometime but was in the mood for a delicious turkey sandwich and ordered for lunch one day a while ago. Seemed as though the quality went down. Recently I heard Orlando's had new owners. My boyfriend and I were going to his brothers farm and thought about getting sandwiches for lunch. I thought of Orlando's. I've only had the juice bar here. It is clean and everything looks to be prepped well however it takes a very long time to make the juices (I waited 25 minutes for two juices to be made and there was no line...) so I recommend calling your order in ahead of time. Also they were out of the aloe leaf and I don't think I would have known that if I didn't ask... I specifically wanted aloe and asked to see how much they were putting in... they said oh unfortunately we are out of that today. Don't think they were voluntarily going to give me that info. The juice could also be colder, they don't seem to store everything in the refrigerator. Some juice places run the fresh juice through a strainer with ice cubes which gives the juice a nice chill before serving to the customer, they should consider doing that. read more

For a person who is very picky about delis- this one is a winner! I've never been to a more clean and well organized deli. Orlando's has been saving me any time I don't bring lunch with me to eat work. It's super convenient since they allow you to text in your order with their app. The first time I ordered I just thought I would be getting a standard wrap but I was wrong. Their attention to detail is very apparent, the food is super fresh and always delicious. I highly recommend their wraps- the spring wrap is my favorite since it's stuffed with fresh veggies and you can customize it however you like. Their grilled chicken is also always cooked perfectly. I also really enjoy their salads! They have lots of options, go for the arugula salad with goat cheese and some toasted sesame dressing! I've been going to Orlando's deli for some time now and today I decided to order a sausage, egg white, cheddar cheese on a toasted roll with butter. When I received the sandwich it was all wrong it was a bacon, egg white, cheddar cheese and there was no butter. So I called and told them they gave me the wrong order and they told me they will make me a new one. So I had to leave work to pick the right order .Before I left I made sure and opened up the sandwich in the deli to make sure it was right and there was no butter so I gave it back to them and ask if I can have some butter on the roll please and they did. When I was finally ready to eat my sandwich this is what I received as you can see what looks like almost a half stick a butter which was sloppy and made it inedible and as paying customer if I want my sandwich a specific way then it should be done that way. I have been here just a few times and I have to say what fabulous place this is. Very conveniently located on Plandome Blvd and a very short walk to my office Orlando's has become a favorite. This store is big and very bright and you're always greeted with a beautiful hello. I was standing and looking at all the great food and I was asked multiple times if I needed help. Yeah I did because everything looked just so good. I had a very pleasant surprise to learn that they serve breakfast all day, and I love breakfast. It was so nice to get a simple scrambled egg and cheese sandwich at 1:15 in the afternoon. Most places won't event crack an egg open after 10. Why? I had a nice conversation with the owner who told me that serving breakfast all days was one of his goals when he started. Good goal, great idea. Simple system here, go to the back and order your food, then pick up a beverage of which there are plenty to choose from and proceed to the front of the store where you pay and sit down or bring back to the office. I love their Tuna and chicken salads, (I keep eating the same things). They always taste fresh with plenty of flavor. They have plenty to choose from. They also have a complete line of Paninis. If you can think of the combination and it's not already a named sandwich, they'll put it together for you... with a smile. What sets Orlando's apart from the other delis in the area is freshness of the food, cleanliness of the establishement and most of all the people. Everyone is always very friendly and happy to see you. The deli is very roomy with several tables that were inviting and comfortable when indoor dining was permitted pre-pandemic. This deli is terrible. I got their famous vodka chicken panini and the only thing that was famous about it was how bad it was. The chicken didn't taste good and the vodka sauce lacked flavor. I couldn't believe how bad it was. The one plus with this place is that it has a large seating area so all the kids from the middle school can hang out here after school which definitely drives their business. The place was also really dirty. I really feel bad for this place because they have the perfect size and location but their famous product is bad and their deli is dirty. This is a great local deli. I've been texting in my order and going to pick it up. Normally I have to wait 15-20 minutes during the lunch rush and the line is kind of confusing. However once you eat the actual food, the wait will be worth it! I always get the Chicken BLT Avocado wrap with waffle fries. Order was ready for pick up in 15 mins. Upon entering, there were two people behind the counter who both greeted me with a smile. One of them complimented on my 2001 volkswagen cabrio and sparked a conversation while i payed. The sandwich is pretty tasty! Breaded chicken, cheese, vodka panini sauce, between soft bread crisped to perfection. Sauce was a bit on the lighter portion side making it a bit dry, but can be remedied by asking for more next time. One can also argue the suace and chicken isn't packing a lot of flavor. First review touched upon the quality/preparation of some of the grub, and my position on that hasn't changed (not often the best). The reason for an update is my newly found discovery of the egg sandwiches they dole out. So those four glimmering stars are solely focused on that. A usual bacon, egg, and cheese is quality here, but my sandwich of choice is egg, sausage, peppers, and mozzarella cheese on a roll. In this handheld, they're not using that typical breakfast-esque meat. Instead, hardy slices of Italian sausage with large pieces of sautéed peppers are mixed in with the egg. Top it off with melted mozzarella cheese all on a soft roll and you have a relatively unique and tasty breakfast sammy. It's offered all day so you can partake in it at lunchtime (like me) as well. Overall, I still can't justify some of their deli sandwiches (and their chicken is suspect at best), but if you're looking for a tasty breakfast/lunch option, then go for this meaty egg creation. read more

Very impressed by this deli. I love a good old fashioned deli and while the decor doesn't give that feel, the food hasn't disappointed. The vodka chicken cutlet panini is touted as the best sandwich in America. I'm not sure about that but it's a good sandwich. I've tried quite a few and all have been good. Came in here for a Saturday lunch and was surprised to see a Deli so empty especially on Manhassat's main Plandome road. The staff were friendly and recommended their signature sandwiches to me. I then ordered the vodka chicken panini, which was 9 dollars and was quite filling. It was pretty good the chicken could have used a little more flavor however the cheese was delicious and melted into the crust of the sandwich. The deli itself has many options however they overcharge fro drinks as it is completely unnecessary to charge 4 dollars for a Snapple. I have seen on other reviews that certain staff members were unfriendly to them so I will be returning to update my review for I believe one visit is not enough to determine how adequate their customer service really is. I was out and about and definitely hungry. I remember awhile back my brother mentioned a place in the area called "Orlando's Deli." I decided today was the day for a visit. Parking is a bit of a hassle in front but I found some. Going inside I was impressed with the size of the place. It seemed very inviting, but not as much as the staff and owner. The woman that took my order was incredible. She asked me what I wanted on my wrap. I could have it my way? I was shocked. She said anything I want on it and she would create my masterpiece. I took the opportunity to get bacon on my Caesar wrap. While waiting I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. After he finish asking me what a was taking pictures for, we had a pleasant conversation. We talked about the rich history of the business. "Orlando's Deli" has been there for 25 years and he has been working there since. He was ringing up my order and very happy about it. I thought ten dollars was a pricey for a wrap, but soon found out why they priced it that way. When I left to eat it I almost went back in to thank that woman. It was the most delicious wrap I've had in years. All the bacon was crunchy, the chicken was tender and the cheese (Did I ever mention I love CHEESE) was sharp! This wrap truly was worthy of all my attention; until the very end. They end definitely came quickly for that wrap. I will definitely be back. How could I not. The chicken was rubbery and had a bit of a crunch - could have been overcooked or just low quality chicken. I have been coming to Orlandos for over 10 years. Food is very fast, all the employees are very friendly. The quality of the food could be a little better and it is definitely a tad bit over priced. What you're paying for is the convenience though. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy a nice sandwich. It isn't gourmet, but it will get the job done. They have a large seating area that get's a little crowded with the after school rush, that can be very annoying. Super S. comment is true though, they have a weird Bill O'Reilly shrine behind the counter, but that's only because he lives in the area. Honestly, started working in the area and i love delis so i was so happy to find this place. I go here a lot and they've always been great but the last few weeks. There's been a severe decline. I've gone 5 times in the last 2 weeks and EVERY single time my order has been wrong. & of course i didn't notice until I've already gotten back to work.
