Stopped here for Sunday lunch on my way back to Louisiana. Overall, the pizza was tasty and I was satisfied. My only complaint was that the pizzas weren't coming out quickly enough. A lot of folks were coming in after church and the amount of pizza available was slim. Dessert pizzas were enjoyable.

Came across this establishment, again on the way back from a martial arts competition. Let's cut straight to it. It's AN EXTREMELY affordable pizza buffet! Me and my son during dinner paid around $18 for both of us! Is the pizza and the other items(pasta, salad) ground breaking and earth shattering delicious. NO. It's passable, and not great, but not horrible either. They had some stand out items. Like the pico de gallo pizza, white pizza and the dessert pizzas(hard to mess those up). I also saw tons of patrons come in, ask for a pizza box, pay, and fill the boxes to the brim to take out. It's just below cicis pizza, but the price blows it away!

4.5 stars for a pizza buffet place in a small town with the population equivalent to about 2 large high schools? Sign us up! The other reviews are quite spot-on. This is indeed like a Cici's but without the branding and franchising fees. The interior is fairly large, simple and clean, and reminds us of a school cafeteria. There is a salad bar, pasta with red sauce and white sauce, a pizza line, and a selection of desert pizzas. There could be up to 10 regular pizzas out at any one time, along with 4 different dessert pizzas. They also take requests, and there's about 2 dozen options to choose from! Turnover was quite decent while we were there. We enjoyed the pizzas - they were tasty and crusts were quite fluffy. The dessert pizzas were simply better than what we could get from Cici's. As of May 2023, the all-day pizza buffets are $6.99 per person, with drinks at an additional $1.99. This is great value, especially with the inflated prices most places charge these days.

A small step up from cicis but that's about it. Not too tasty but typical for a buffet.

I love Orlando's. We time our trips to San Antonio just so we can stop here. Great value. Staff are great. The dessert pizza is my favorite.

Great little pizza buffet. We went early, around 5p and it was quiet. Pizza was fresh. So delicious. By 545, there was a line out the door.

From the crowd at this very small establishment I was impressed and excited to try out choices of Pepper Vodka and Pepperoni. The Pepperoni was traditional but a limited about of pepperoni as you can see in the photograph, noting about of the ordinary. The Peppered Vodka sauce was excellent, but again limited sausage. The crust was probably the best part of the pizzas. Talespin is what I'd consider an "average" pizzeria when comparing to the "non-chain" establishments around town. Still not as good as you'd get at a proper Italian restaurant, but better than Domino's or Papa John's.

They said the website has the most up to date menu items Super Supreme 5/5 Really quite extraordinary, packed with flavor and toppings. Hawaiian 3/5 - good but not sure the added American bacon bit elevates the traditional Hawaiian. Wings - medium spicy (3/5) not bad by any means but didn't feel special in any way. Kind of reminded me of grocery store frozen aisle wings (which I don't dislike actually) but yeah. Wouldn't come here specifically for the wings. Maybe they're better eaten in store. Overall, loved the visit. Would definitely come back to try some of the pizzas I didn't see on the paper menu next time like the Honey Crème.

That's when we came across Cup N Char and noticed they offered Detroit-style pizza--something neither of us had tried before. We stopped by to order in person, and right away the staff made a great impression. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. There were also a few groups dining in, which gave the place a nice, welcoming vibe. Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

My family and I stopped by Backdoor Pizza and were greeted by a genuinely friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere. It wasn't a rushed dining experience--in fact, our food took a while to come out, and somewhere along the way my son's pizza order was missed entirely. Not ideal when you're dining with a hungry kid. That said, what stood out was how fresh everything tasted once it hit the table. The pizza was hot, made-to-order, and worth the wait. Nothing felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The ingredients tasted fresh, the crust had a great texture, and you could tell care went into the food. The real surprise of the night? The fried Oreos. Crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. They easily stole the show and were the highlight of the meal for our family. While the timing issues and forgotten order keep this from being a five-star visit, the friendly service, quality food, and standout dessert make it a place I'd be willing to give another shot. Every restaurant has an off day; what matters is whether the food makes you want to come back. In this case, it does. The fried Oreos alone might be enough to get us through the door again.
