Really, really fine, something I'd definitely order again. For me. Not to share. I had the Schnitzel Bennie with tart cherry jam and lemon hollandaise. Sound unusual? Tasted great! My only gripe was that the pork cutlet was a bit small and could have used a bit more seasoning in the breading. Would I order it again? You betcha! Service was fast and efficient. Regarding the vegan standard, it seems they have cut back on the amount of tofu scramble and increased the amount of hashbrowns, which was a little bit disappointing. As usual it was very tasty though! I tried a bite of the hubs French toast and it was VERY unique and tasty! II will be getting that next time. I was disappointed to hear that they haven't brought back the vegan biscuits and gravy, but maybe once again they will! So the food was great but our experience, not so much, based on where we were sitting. I feel like they should not even use the last spot at the bar to seat a patron. Right next to where I was sitting is the place they bring the clean silverware to dry it off, then they would toss it into the silverware holder. The noise was very annoying and they did nothing to try to even be quiet about it. The other thing about that location is the register is pretty much right in your face, like 15 inches directly in front of me and someone was pretty much there the whole time. Other areas of the bar wouldn't be quite so bad, but next time we will wait longer to get a table or sit at the bar top that looks outside instead of at all the workers doing their thing and talking to each other. Other than the location of where we sat this visit, this is still one of our top spots for a yummy vegan breakfast, and we will be back!

I was probably too focused on my own meal, but they each got the morning glory muffins with their orders, which they loved. All of us enjoyed our food and had leftovers. The only downside was the noise. It was a very crowded Saturday morning, loud enough that hearing was difficult at times. Our waitress was very attentive despite the crowd, keeping our water and coffee topped up. Next time we'll come on a weekday.

The Magnolia has a dedicated parking lot that charges a fee. However, there is also street parking and Sundays there is no charge if you're stopping in for brunch. Being located a bit away from downtown and midtown this area tends to be quiet so you typically won't find a wait here. The restaurant itself is really nicely appointed, offering an elevated upscale feel. Easy access for folks that may have mobility challenges. We were pleasantly greeted and noticed that our server was also working as maître D which seemed to be a little distracting for them. The hours at this restaurant is abbreviated for the different meals, breakfast/brunch/lunch is served until 2 PM. The restaurant reopens at 4 o'clock for dinner. The menu is somewhat limited, however, all the basics are there and looked very inviting. It became clear that there may be some service challenges at this restaurant as wait times for refills, food (which came out a little on the cool side), and just general interested at our table was not as focused as it could've been. The fruit bowl was very generous and fresh, presentation of hot dishes was your standard breakfast fare. I might try this location again just to see if I was here on an off day.

The first thing I noticed is that it's in kind of an unassuming part of Downtown Omaha.
