This may be my favorite breakfast place in Omaha. I am in love with the pork belly hash. Seems to always be busy. Service is top notch. Never had to ask for a refill on coffee. Fook came out quickly and hot. One of these days I'll have to try this place for lunch.

Very good breakfast food. Eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly! And the blueberry pancakes were also delicious! The meal I ordered came with meat and I asked if I could substitute it for a cup of fruit which they did no problem! Service was pretty good considering they were swamped for a Sunday morning. It did take awhile to be acknowledged when we sat a "we'll be with you shortly" would have been nice just because we felt out of place -- we weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves (you are). Nice place overall.

Apologies, but the food was great!!!

You've gotta like a little place (actually not so little) tucked into a strip mall that knows who it is and creates good food delivered with a smile. We tried Keystone Kafe out on a weekend morning, and clearly others thought about coming as well. It was PACKED. Their menu wasn't messy and showy but a straightforward and thorough presentation of what you might be hungering for at breakfast or lunch. Nothing foo-foo, basic American breakfast and several choices from burgers to burritos for lunch. You know what really made us smile? The old-fashioned coffee mugs! LOVED THEM. Thick mugs that warm your hands and keep your coffee/tea hot. It said, "home," to us. Old School, indeed! Eggs were perfect, bacon was meaty and crispy yet tender, hash browns had a nice crunch, no complaints whatsoever (except that there was no orange marmalade) from our table. We've already made plans to return and prices were reasonable to boot. :-)

We have been to the Keystone Kafe three times on the Fox42 Breakfast Tour, with our first visit being in July and our last visit today. The restaurant is located in a small non-descript strip mall in the Keystone area of Omaha off Military Ave. The mall has a large parking lot and there is no signage on Military Ave., so it is relatively easy to miss if you didn't know that it was in a strip mall. Making things more interesting is the fact that if you are westbound on Military, there is a divider that requires you to enter the shopping center from Templeton Dr. on the east side of the strip mall. There is no way that you can see any indication of the Keystone Kafe before you have to turn on to Templeton Dr. We have found it to be a small and very friendly restaurant, where many customers are repeat customers and know the staff. When you walk in, you choose your own seating, no formal "Wait To Be Seated" here, the waitress will find you very quickly with a welcoming "Good Morning, would you like some coffee?" The Fox42 Breakfast Tour has a Prix Fixe Menu, in the case of the Keystone Kafe, it was either their Potato Casseroles or Omelets: Ham/Broccoli/Onion, 3 meat-Ham/Bacon/Sausage, Mexican-Chorizo/Chili/Cheese. During our visits we had the 3 meat-Ham/Bacon/Sausage, Mexican-Chorizo/Chili/Cheese Omelets. During all visits the food was prepared consistently, as shown by the associated pictures. Come hungry, because you get your money's worth in food and it tastes good too. I think this is a restaurant that we will be returning to, even without the tour card.

Beware of the biscuits and gravy. The pale lumps in the gravy are roux, not sausage, with entirely too much pepper. Friendly staff.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

To drink, I ordered the Açaí Cosmopolitan, which was refreshing and well-balanced. For dinner, we shared the crab and sweet corn croquettes, braised short ribs, and scallops. Every dish was excellent. The croquettes were crispy on the outside and packed with flavor, while both the short ribs and scallops were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. It's always nice to find a restaurant that delivers both great food and a meaningful purpose. Between the delicious meal, thoughtful service, and mission behind the restaurant, Ooh De Lally is absolutely worth a visit.

Unfortunately after driving to the Ooh De Lally we were immediately turned away citing the no pet policy. I politely showed the hostess their listing and was directed to speak with a manager and I politely declined stating it was not needed. It's unfortunate that a business has full control over the information contained there and would be appropriate to update the information to prevent future patrons from being misled. After the rejection, there isn't a need for a future return. It would have only been decent customer service since the information was misleading to accommodate us, keeping in mind the pet was a 5.2lb 16 year old chihuahua that has cataracts, calm and making a stir while checking in and the patio only had one other table. The hostess felt the only recourse was to point me to a sign which I wasn't sure where it was because it didn't matter at this point, she stated her policy. I kindly referred her to the online info, and pulled the info up for her. We drove to dine and again, to create a future customer the choice was to instead decline and send us away. She did ask if he was a service animal but was not gonna take that away from a true service animal. Hopefully this place makes the needed corrections and unfortunately our experience will be how this was handled. Yes, I see the follow up from the restaurant and our decision to not return seems fit based on the "Owner" response. Good customer service would have been reflected in the response acknowledging more than just how "Frustrating" it was for us. No, being truly sincere would have been we appreciate your business and apologize for the inconvenience. Please here is 10% off your next meal or dessert is on us, please come back. We certainly don't care about the 10% but it's about the true understanding and apparently this is not the goal of the "owner". The effort as such would have prompted us to give another try. With the lack of effort to even bring a customer back speaks volumes. 2026 Omaha made changes for restaurants regarding pets and the disregard to an error and the drive we made apparently holds little to this establishment.

My husband wanted to try the chef's tasting menu but I unfortunately for him wasn't feeling very brave. Just a heads up; if you decide on the chefs tasting menu, everyone at your table needs to do it as well. While slightly less adventurous, we found some truly amazing dishes on their à la carte menu. For a starter, we ended up choosing the featured chovy's egg for the week which included beurre blanc, steelhead roe, and turnip. While I didn't try this myself, my husband enjoyed it. For the rest of the meal we decided to share the fagottini which was filled short rib and was placed on a bed of sweet potato with caramelized onion. The flavors on this were so delicious. The red wine they used was perfect. Next, came the pappardelle bolognese with basil and parmigiano. Again, amazing. So flavorful and so many different textures which elevated the dish so much. Last was our agreed upon favorite, the picanha that was served with a wonderful grilled/smoked cabbage and topped with hollandaise (though I think the menu said it was served with spinach and potato). I loved everything about this dish. The meat was cooked to absolute perfection and the cabbage (a total unsung hero) was delectable! I would 1000% get this dish again. We also both had their Raspberry Beret which was fantastic. A perfect summer drink. They have a little fun with their featured drinks; if the song they are named after is played during your visit, the drink is half-off! While Prince didn't end up serenading us, I do always love a little challenge! Our server was very friendly along with each staff member who brought our various dishes to us.
