We ordered the crawfish (it is the season) and the half&half PoBoy (catfish) and Gumbo. The crawfish are a bit small compared to other restaurants we have been to. The catfish PoBoy was tasteless really thin piece of fish, gumbo was too salty and no okra in it, also the French Fries had too much salt on them. Definitely, BB Tex-Orleans PoBoys and Gumbo beats this place hands down. For the price we paid we should have gone a little further to BB's... Great place to grab a bite to eat. I typically get the Orleans combination with catfish and crawfish ettouffee. We go here at least once a month. I also like the crawfish pistolletts. The one thing I am not a big fan of is their gumbo. But it's not bad. I recommend giving this place a try. read more

We came in 30 minutes before closing on a Wednesday and was told they were out of crawfish . Not a big deal but next time we will try to make it earlier. Wednesdays they have 5 pounds for $25. Run, don't walk. We are beyond ecstatic that we have Orleans Seafood Kitchen so close to our home. We love this place and have always loved the food and friends at the the I-10 location too! We came in on the first opening day and were immediately greeted by staff members! It was already crowded but seating was plentiful. Since it was just hubby and I we decided to sit in the bar area. We found a nice table for 2 with perfect view of the Astros game on one of the large screen TVs. Although it was busy our waiter Will greeted us right away. The menu, well there's nothing we don't like here. So, hubby had the side salad (only because we're trying to eat healthier) and cup of seafood gumbo. Couldn't get a picture in time for this review but I'll update next time. I love love love the seafood bisque but I couldn't decide because everything on their menu is my favorite! I'm a salad lover so I went with my favorite Greek salad! It typically comes with grilled shrimp but I changed it up with the grilled chicken, both are yummy. I was able to capture a picture but I apologize I started cutting the chicken before I snapped the pic, sorry. It still looks beautiful tho and honestly the best salad around town! We had a great experience and not only the best food but everyone is always very friendly! I was impressed with the organization, friendliness, and attentiveness! We have been eating at the I-10 restaurant for 15 years and we love everything about this place! Oh and not to mention, crawfish season, this is the only place I will eat Crawfish, THE BEST! My boyfriend and I were trying to decide on what to eat for lunch Saturday and he remembered seeing this location while on his route for work so since we were in the area and hungry, we decided to try it out. This location is spacious and there were enough tables to be able and space ourselves out. We were really obsessed with the ceiling fans. I never saw any like these before but they put off just the right amount of air because its been incredibly hot out and this day was no exception! The food was amazing, the young lady who took our order at the counter (blonde ponytail and sun kissed) was so charming and helpful in recommending some items, sorry I can't remember her name, I'm so bad with names. Her great personality makes me want to come back. I enjoyed chatting with her. She made us feel welcome in coming in. Please tell her much her kindness and personality was appreciated. Everything we ordered was so good. We started with the sauteed crab fingers. The flavor was out of this world!!! The sauce they were in was so flavorful and complimented the dirty rice. He did the half shrimp po boy with a bowl of gumbo and I had the oyster po boy. My po boy was extra full with good sized fried oysters and I was full until the late evening. We both were fully satisfied and will definitely be back again. There's some other menu items we're looking forward to trying. This is a big favorite for us. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. The food is incredible. Try the catfish Orleans! You won't be disappointed. Awful. 1/2 lb shrimp undercooked with no flavor, had to spit it out. The manager could have cared less when we complained, walked to the back and never addressed the issue. On top of that 1 in 3 crawfish were dead, also with no flavor. Left the entire meal on the table. Terrible service, terrible food. No issue with the food, but they really have to get their act together on meeting their demand. The good news is there is a demand, the bad news is no matter how good the food is, if you have to wait too long to get your food or take out, people will look elsewhere. I called today at around 5:45pm to order take out and was told that they cannot take my order and to call back 30 min later. The last time I ordered online, I had to wait 20 min over the pick up time and eventually went to the front counter and asked someone to help me out (which he kindly did probably bypassing house rules). This time, ordered online from another restaurant and will be picking up the food soon. Now I have an option and may not go back to Orleans. I guess the food is not so extremely good that I am willing to wait and wait and wait! read more

I had Costa Rican Mahi mahi today for lunch and it was spectacular. The fish filet was grilled perfectly and the shrimp and crawfish white sauce complemented the fish. I chose to substitute the dirty rice with the garlic mashed potatoes without gravy which was so delicious with the fish. I'm looking forward to order it again real soon. read more

The owner stopped by our table to ask how our lunch was and thanked us for dinning at the new location. The gumbo is very good as well as the catfish Po' boy. Will be back soon.
