They are informative and flexible with scheduling appointments. I had braces as a child and can remember being in a lot of pain. Also, the appointments were very dull. We chose Orthodontic Care of Georgia (North Georgia Orthodontics on the building). When we departed Maryland, my son's orthodontist stated he only had a month or two left for treatment. Fast forward to May 2018, we asked the North Georgia orthodontist how much longer, as we have been paying monthly for two years. When asked we were told another 3 years!!! What?!? Why would it take 6 years for braces? No thank you, his teeth look the same as they did in Maryland. To have them removed, it cost us $998 ($600 of that amount is the fee to break the contract) and no that amount doesn't include the retainers...that's another $600. Our advice, find another orthodontist! I used McClendon Orthodontics and I started my braces 4 months after my son and got them off in November 2017.

I called our orthodontist in Oklahoma to see if we could make an appointment for when we returned. Our orthodontist was going to be taking his vacation once we returned, so we would have to go see another orthodontist that would be covering while he is on vacation. His office staff suggested that we try to find a local orthodontist that might be able to see her while we are still in Decatur, so that she did not have to stay uncomfortable while on vacation. I called one office and it was going to be $150 to clip a wire. I called a second office and they were going to charge $360 to clip the wire. My best friend and her husband suggested that I call Decatur Orthodontics, so I did. Allyssa was my first interaction with the office. She was kind and super helpful. She was able to get us in right away. Our visit was less than 5 minutes once we arrived. The office staff was helpful, kind, and extremely efficient. The office was super clean and very organized. I ended up deciding to get the braces recommended but didn't feel pressured at all. Great experience overall.
