Then 3 girls trickled in separately who worked there, it's safe to say they were on lunch break, no worries. I wrote my name on the clipboard and continued to wait. Another patient walked in shortly after me. They called him back first which I didn't mind until I realized I was there for an hour before I got called back to the room. It seems there's only one dentist working which I also wouldn't have minded if they scheduled accordingly. Im finally in the room and one of the girls took my X- rays, she was friendly and efficient. The dentist finally made his way in and was completely unprepared. Him and his assistant are talking and he asks her for a "leaf" she said there isn't anymore, he said we ran out already? She said you're the only one that uses them so he said "it's OK just put that last one through sanitizer". A short time passes as he's fumbling around with the tools and equipment. He then proceeds to put the "leaf" in my mouth, wet and apparently used by a previous patient, let alone if it was even sanitized or not. He also put it in backwards which I thought was strange. There was a lot going on. I was waiting for a camera crew to come out like it was some kind of joke. Then he tried to upsell me on different services, mainly "whitening" I respectfully declined and he couldn't get me out of the chair fast enough. One of my bridges he didn't even floss, he said "well you floss at home right" I said yeah, he goes OK you're done and hands me my purse before I'm even out of the chair while I'm taking off the paper towel. I will say the girls were all friendly and considerate. I think he seemed extremely unprepared, rushed and not able to care for each Individual patient fully. I can't say that I will be back nor recommend this office anytime soon.

He is a hidden gem .. located upstairs hidden from the front of the parking lot. Once you come in the doors the girls in front are all very so sweet.. very talk-able and friendly. I told Dr. Loo my concerns and how many years of dental work I had got done growing up. And he explained everything to me and of course finances has always came up because of my budget. He never pressured me.. and good work doesn't happen overnight. I am so happy I finally get to have that perfect smile. We recently did veeners and I couldn't be happier. I had some concerns about my teeth though and knew it was about time to go. I asked around to see if any of my friends had recommendations and Distinctive Dental was brought up. They were able to schedule my first appointment within a few weeks and when I got there they had a cute little sign with my name on it welcoming me to the practice. I found out at the appointment that some of the concerns I had were valid and I would need a decent amount of dental work (which I was expecting overall). Because of this, I've been into Distinctive Dental quite a few times over the past month and a half and have had a number of different procedures done and I've been nothing but happy with the services I've received. Firstly, and most importantly for me, the staff is so sweet. I know I'm not the easiest patient to deal with because I have so much dental anxiety that it has turned into crying in their office and even a panic attack during one of the procedures (at no fault to the staff - completely a personal issue both times). During all of this, the staff was so empathetic and supportive. I've really appreciated the overall demeanor and bedside manner from each of the people that I've worked with. Also, not sure if they all just remember me at this point or if it's in my file, but I feel like they always know the things to talk to me about to work down my nerves - primarily my dog LOL at this point I've probably showed pictures to most of the staff in the office haha In addition to being super kind and supportive, I've always appreciated that they've never pushed me into any procedures faster than I wanted to go. During my first consultation, we discussed a lot of different issues and things we could fix whether that be for tooth health or aesthetic. After this initial discussion where I asked how I should prioritize my treatment, they made me a very clear treatment plan and have let me move at my own pace with what I want to get done first. Dr. Loo was also super informative about what exactly he was doing at each step of each of the procedures. I appreciated this because it gave some context to what was going on in my mouth and helped to ease some nerves. They are also super accommodating with scheduling. I was leaving to go out of town shortly after my consultation and some of the work we had discussed was more urgent in nature and the staff at the front was super helpful in working around my work schedule to ensure I could get certain things in before I left. Overall, the office seems super clean and well kept and they have a fish tank in the front which I love to look at while waiting for my appointment (though I've never waited longer than like 5 minutes). They always temperature check when people go in and their staff is always masked. They also always offer me water and are overall super welcoming. I would highly recommend Dr. Loo's office if you're looking for a new dentist and particularly if you are someone who's nervous about going to the dentist. I am like 10/10 anxiety ridden about dentist's visits but Dr. Loo's office has been so great and has helped to alleviate some of the nerves I have.

I had a problem with one crown from the beginning and it had to go back to the lab twice. Eventually the crown attached but recently I noticed it feeling loose three years later (they said they last 8-10 years). I went to another dentist for a regular cleaning and they said it was loose and that I should go to the doctor that installed the implant - so I called Dr Nasiris office and asked if they could reattach and they said there would be no charge unless it was cracked (which it's not) so I made an appointment with Dr. Nasiri. After waiting an hour, she came into the room asking why the other dentist hadn't fixed it because it was an "easy" thing to do. Well obviously I wanted to go back to her to fix it not another doctor. Then without even looking at my tooth while I'm in pain, the tables turned and she said it was actually very difficult and that I needed to be charged for the fix, after I was already told she could fix it and that it was "easy" for the other doctor. This dentist is clearly greedy and just looking to squeeze as much money out of her patients as possible. She doesn't like to fix the work she messed up in the first place.

I was respectful throughout the appointment, and I don't feel that my question warranted that kind of attitude. The were drilling my molars to replace the metal filling and I told them they were shocking my face every time they touched it with the drill which was pretty painful, they literally asked me if I can just tolerate it rather than numbing me more. This office for my chipped tooth #8, they said I had to wait 3 weeks for my insurance to authorize the procedure so I called my insurance reps on 10/4/24 to check the status of the procedure and she said that she didn't recieve a request from this office and to ask for a copy of that request form since their records could be wrong, but this office didn't want to provide me a copy of the request form for some unknown reason and I have been waiting like a dumbass for 3 weeks. Omg, very unprofessional and Victor said he doesn't keep records of the authorization forms for my insurance nor is it his job to do so or to send those forms to my insurance. But they keep on trying to upsell me a procedure out of pocket of course. The forms disappeared. What's the point of paying FICA taxes my entire working life, if when my daughter and I need to access those benefits, dentists, doctors etc...refuse to take the card, use it, run it, they double bill it, and try to upsell you on services, demand only cash for services and to make matters worse they won't treat you at all.
