Update 5/14/21 My wife, son and I ate at Os this evening which isn't a big deal except we hadn't eaten out since February 2020. We made the decision to sit on their patio and found an open table. The food was excellent as usual but I want to take a minute and recognize our server, Nick. Nick has waited on us many many times over last few years and he's a fine, kind, polite, professional young man with a great personality. Our 12 yr old son has Aspergers Syndrome and has a few "quirks". Nick is so nice to him and always makes sure his fries are "extra extra crispy" or his pop only has 5 ice cubes, etc. To Marc and Laura, you've got a fine young man on your team and I'm sure you know that, but I just want to say in this day and age his service is noticed and appreciated. Seriously the best meal I've had in a while. Road tripping from Chicago and found this place on Google. Burger was fresh, juicy and cooked to perfection, cheese was gooey and the bun was soft. Sweet potato waffle fries were great! The bf says, the chicken sandwich was crisp, fresh and delicious on a soft bun. My Dad had the patty melt which he orders often and said this one was outstanding! The special was Jessica's broccoli salad. Let me tell if I lived close I would have ordered a bucket to go!! First time visit! Friendly atmosphere and waitstaff. Both husband and I got burgers with fries. Burgers were excellent! Husband had pipping hot fries, mine were cold. He shared his with me and when the waitress was told... she walked away. She returned to table as we finished dinner and I again told her about my fries. She asked if I needed a to-go box or new fries to go, I declined. I believe she should have removed the extra charge for fries. Yes, only $3.00 but principal of it. I ha e been to this place before they renovated it, and WOW is all I can say. Totally different place altogether. Has a warm feel to to place. Inside and out. We went in at about 10:30p.m. and was still able to order appetizer's. We had the warm pretzels and cheese, mozz sticks, cheese curds and fries. All were delicious, but next time we will double up on those pretzels. Man they were amazing!! Cant wait to return for dinner. The drinks were great, and the wait staff were awesome. I went here for my birthday lunch, and I loved it! I can't believe I've been missing out. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, always checking on us every 10 minutes for refills or anything else. The food came out relatively quick, I didn't snap a photo but the pretzel sticks with queso is a great appetizer. The food was good, ordered two mixed drinks and they were cheap during Happy Hour. Only giving it 4/5 just because of the single person bathrooms and a bit of a higher price point, but it's definitely worth it and I loved the atmosphere! Going to come back for sure. read more

My friend recommended this place and said he orders here all the time. I believe the steak and chop specials are Wednesdays and Saturdays. I ordered an online takeout boneless pork chop (looked like a loin) with tater tots and a side salad. The pork chop was fantastic. Smokey, tender and almost no fat. I would have loved a baked potato for the side but it wasn't available online. The side salad with nice sized and fresh. I would definitely return. read more

This review absolutely needs updated. First, this is the first time in my history of negative yelp reviews that I've ever been contacted by the restaurant. Marc reached out to me to sincerely apologize about my experience. Not only that, but he invited me to come back to his establishment to give it another shot. In my original review, I stated I would not return. . However, after talking to Marc I decided to give Os another shot. When we walked in it was really busy. Busy inside as well as outside. It was so reminiscent of my last visit and to be honest, I wasn't hopeful. Our waitress, Meagan, arrived within a minute of us sitting down. She brought us our requested beer samples. Then we placed a drink and food order at the same time. We ordered two appetizers. What happened next was a first for me. Our food (pretzel sticks and waffle fries) arrived before our drinks. Apparently the bar was backed up but the kitchen wasn't. I have to say our service was pretty good. Our waitress did a great job juggling her tables and making sure our needs were met. She even let us sample several dips as we went on a quest to find something that worked with the sweet potato fries. Overall, great experience. Especially for a busy Friday night. 6 miles off of I-75, this is a must stop! O's has been placed in the top 10 in Michigan for Best Burger and Pretzels n Cheese appetizer. Our waitress just happened to be the mastermind behind the 6 feet of separation burger created during the Covid Pandemic. It was absolutely amazing! I can only say that it was Stupid good. I hope they keep it as a staple under specialty burgers. We were instructed to come here and try the burgers so we did not get a chance to try the other delicious looking meals on the menu. One thing we really liked was the ability to substitute chips for firecracker fries, onion rings and Crispy brussel sprouts app to name a few. Crispy Brussel sprouts are very popular menu item as if late. I have never seen that offered before as a sub to chips. My wife is a Crispy Brussel sprouts snob and she was raving about these. We were also checking out the other menus offered during the week while we sampled some local Michigan craft beer. Wednesday and Saturday they offer up some cuts of meat that look worthy of a taste or two. We can't wait to come back again with all of the friends we are going to tell. There was live music outside in a heated tent and an outside seating area between the main building and tent. This must be a very popular spot for the locals. A winner for sure! read more

Oh nO....Carry Out Orders are apparently secOnd priOrity at O's. Called order in, went to pick up 1/2 hour later. Food not ready. Was told by Kim, (bartender) that order was being bagged. Not true...waited there an additional 20+ more minutes. And was told twice during that time my order was being bagged up...haha. Waitress & pick up order area looked disorganized & the short order cook was trying to keep up through all the disruptions from staff. My order, entered correctly, made incorrectly, but was still charged for upgrades. Prices are high for what you get. Food was mediocre at best. For a small town pub, and not many choices, in the area, I can see how this place is busy. Our group of 5 girls had food and drinks. My sister had Parmesan garlic wings and became ill about 40 minutes later, this is the second time this has happened at O's. After we ordered our 4th drink the waitress came back and said we were "cut off", apparently we were too loud, however they never said that. There were two other groups of people in the entire place at the time. Maybe someone could have asked us to keep our voices down? Instead they cut us off! Quite insulting and we won't be back. Our server was really nice but the food was less than average. The burgers were actually burnt and totally over cooked. They were sent back and it took forever to have new ones made. Stopped here in Auburn, Michigan after a golf trip to Oscoda on a Sunday afternoon to watch the Lions and PGA Championship with three buddies. Our server Tyler was accommodating, wonderful and knowledgeable. I had the broiled cod which was tasty. The onion rings were crispy and nice sweet, creamy cole slaw. My buddies had the Reuben ("Huge.") and Olive burger (Best ever."). The best thing about the staff is that they were all friendly and helpful. Not like places where servers ignore customers who aren't at their table. We watched the end of the golf tournament and Tyler was excellent at filling our coffee and water glasses without complaint and always stopped to by to check on us. We all shared their signature dessert, a sliced pretzel, chocolate covered, vanilla ice cream treat. The pretzels tasted like French toast. If you go, you have to try it. $6. They also have outside eating areas with umbrellas. If we are ever in the area of Midland or Saginaw, we will come back. read more

Extremely disappointed! I have always loved this place and recommend to others. Decided to go tonight as a special treat. They are totally NOT following COVID guidelines. 90% of the customers walked in with no mask even though it was posted on the door that a mask was required. They still have bar stools at the bar all super close together. All stools were full shoulder to shoulder. Tables were not correctly distanced and all the tables were full. Customers walking around the restaurant did not put on a mask. Most employees were wearing a mask but not correctly worn exposing their nose. The bartender mostly had her mask down around her neck. It was business as usual as if there is no COVID and they are not required to comply. I know it was my choice to come here it's just so sad to see no one caring about the safety of others including the staff. read more

I have just had possibly the best steak ever. I don't usually post comments either good or bad but the rib eye was perfect and very tender, flavorful. Exceptional!! Great bar in Auburn. You can watch them cook from anywhere in the bar area. They have awesome burgers. I would like to try the other food but I always get the burgers. The wife loves the Brussels sprouts. They have a great selection of craft beers along with the old standbys. The only reason I took a star away is that you can never find seating here. The bar is always full and tables are hard to come by. Usually expect a wait. Time to expand! read more

We met friends at O's. We were welcomed right away, and told that a table would be opening soon. The gentleman that welcomed us also offered to get us some drinks while we waited. I had the perch dinner which was the special of the night. Plenty of perch and it was cooked just right. My wife had the olive burger and she very much enjoyed it.
