Super cute dining area perfect for lunch!

Perfect place for a business lunch. The service is nice and fast! The food is tasty, the sushi was fresh and there's plenty of tables for small groups to chat and meet over a good meal. I'll be back for more work lunches.

Best Japanese restaurant I have visited in years. Excellent fresh sushi, and today I tried for the first time their food. 10/10 Service is friendly but not over-attentive. I like the care, but yeesh, can a sister eat in peace?? We arrived at 11am and slowly started to see customers arrive and enjoy their food. It is a small space, but you can come with a party of 10; I saw a table set up for that size. The dishes were well seasoned but not salty. Meals came with soup and salad. We left satisfied and with to-go boxes. The size of each dish was appropriate for the price. I'll be back for more OSAKA

Having just heard the congratulations of sensei turned acupuncturist Master Chow (played by Michelle Yeoh) minions Kevin, Stuart, and Bob rush out the door, giggling with pride, thinking they have become Kung Fu masters when, in reality, they were only going to receive their Junior Kung Fu Achievement Badges. But do not fear. Cornered in the alleys of San Francisco by the magically-transformed members of the Vicious Six, Kevin, Bob, and Stuart "find their inner beast" and find themselves magically transformed into a hare, a goat, and a rooster, each with individualized finishing moves that summon their Kung Fu training. But what if, instead of having to travel to San Francisco to rescue the 11 3/4 year-old Gru from the clutches of Wild Knuckles, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob journeyed to 8855 Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt, Maryland? If they were hungry for sushi, and naively mistaken that they could be trained in the stealth arts of Ninjutsu, they might end up at Osaka Japanese Restaurant, ordering unforgettably decadent and/or succulent Unagi Crunch Rolls, Volcano Rolls, Lion King Rolls, Manhattan Rolls, and, yes, for the Master Chow connection, San Francisco Rolls.

My friend recommended this spot for sushi so we figured we would try it out. The place looked clean but we were just doing take out. We saw couples and families and friends there so it's good for small or big groups. Our wait was only about 15 minutes which isn't bad for take out so we were happy with the service. Our fish to rice ratio was to our liking and the miso soup was tasty. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Definitely try the shrimp tempura and the yellowtail and scallion rolls!

Sushi love boat and spicy chicken

I absolutely loved my experience here. It was super cozy and the sushi was great. I came with my partner and two kids under 13. The wasabi was as real as it can get. My group ordered the love boat, spicy chicken and Chicken Katsu. The individual plate portions are reasonably big. The accompanying sides for the sushi boat were well made, it was well seasoned edamame, a great seaweed salad and something I can't recall that had a cream cheese filling but was still the first thing my party had devoured. Everyone was also served miso soup at the start of our meal which was so good, I'm not a fan of soup in general but I had two bowls. The person who served us was super chill, the food was made promptly, I think everything was ready within 10 minutes. We even watched him make the sushi with a lot of care. Even our kids loved it which is surprising when their meal of choice is chicken nuggets and fries. Unfortunately we were the only ones at the restaurant at the time, maybe because it was 3 pm on a Saturday, but I hope this place gets more customers. If not, I will be coming back to this small business and giving them my money for their great sushi and even cooler ambiance.

Fantastic loved the Yumi roll! The service was friendly and polite. I will def comeback. I left my keys there And the waiter came back outside to give them to me. So grateful for this place!

Shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp

I grabbed food because I was in the area. I ordered shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. I've never had shrimp fried rice with so many onions. I can't taste the rice for all the onions. I'm very disappointed. Use led onions please or none at all. I couldn't get a good feel for the taste. Overload. I paid $19 for this.

Was in the area and decided to dine in with a friend. The menu is quite big, had trouble deciding. Finally ordered the soft shell crab roll and a bento box. Food is made to order and tasted pretty good. The rolls weren't tightly rolled so they fell apart. (This shows the skill of the chef) and the batter for the tempura should have been lighter, it felt a bit heavy, and tasted more of the dough than I should have.

My goto place for sushi hiding in Greenbelt! I usually order takeout, I might have eaten there once as I usually takeout. I've only ordered from their sushi/maki menu so cannot comment on the other dishes. Reasonably priced, always fresh food and quick ( they prepare your meal in 15-20min top). I also love that they have so many items for rolls. Ive tried many and liked them all so far. I keep one of their menu to my fridge. Order pickup and get yourself some wine and enjoy!

Cleanliness + Service: Walked in and it was spotless and smelled delicious! We were seated immediately and the service was swift and accurate. Food: I got the Dol Sat Bibimbap. It was pretty good! The best I've ever had was in VA but this was a close second. Especially since it was only $13! Came with cabbage, egg, beef, rice and veggies. The hot sauce on the side was great. My friend got the salmon bento box and was blown away. He spent some time and Japan and thought their sesame dressing was a very accurate representation of authentic Japanese food. Box came with rice, broccoli, California roll, shrimp tempura, veggie tempura, salmon teriyaki. Great portion size for $13! Pro-tip: Come during lunch to get the best bang for your buck! Ooo and get the hot tea!

So decided to partake in some sushi for the evening. My a brother looked up this spot on Google and lo and behold, I am thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Butterfly Roll, the lobster roll and my brother had the Chicken Teryaki. The ambiance the nice and all the food was fresh. Definitely planning a revisit.

We started with the sashimi appetizer for $12. There were 6 large pieces...salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. All fresh and very very good. The wasabi was even of high quality. The sushi rolls were pick any 2 for $13. Absolutely fantastic rolls. I came in for the volcano bowl and I would come back again for the volcano bowl. I like a spicy broth and this was perfect. The curly noodles were just the right size and they were freshly made. The pork was very high quality and was a great treat. The Akira ramen was not spicy, but was still very tasty. The skinny noodles are wheat noodles, but didn't taste any different from regular noodles. The bento box was very good as well. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the teriyaki sauce was excellent. The waitress was really good and finished the night with some complimentary bites of the mochi. Easy access to a garage that's just around the corner because it is on a very busy street. So garage parking is a must. I don't believe they have been open too long as they are still working on their liquor license. Very cute restaurant nice and tidy but a lot of personality in a small space. I was greeted when I walked in and since I was by myself I opted to sit at the sushi bar area. I forgot to take a picture of my food when I came out because I was so hungry...but the rolls were delicious and fresh. I also took some ramen home and I loved how they packaged everything up for me. I would give them a 3.75 stars because I wish they offered more ramen like beef and with the chicken broth not chicken that's fried. As the chicken was soggy and not eatable when I got home even though it was separated from the ramen. I would give them another try if I'm in the area to try more rolls and their alcohol selection.
