I was so excited to discover a Chinese restaurant near my Mom's house. We went for lunch and were the only patrons so we got lots of attention. My Mother has celiac so we needed something that didn't contain flour. The server did a great job of explaining what they could make for her. I settled on General Tso's and had wonton soup and an egg roll. The soup arrived nice and hot and was very good. I didn't care for the egg roll at all. My entree was huge, but I didn't like it at all. There was some kind of spice that I didn't like, and the chicken was slimy tasting even though it was cooked. I ate the fried rice, even thought it was bland and only a few forkfuls of the General Tso's. I'm so disappointed because the location is perfect.

I wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant and decided to try Osaka. They have PLENTY of parking which is super nice! My son loves General Tsos Chicken and when we got the food all I could say was wow! It was a great portion size and was really affordable! My boyfriend got the Velvet Chicken and I got the Spicy Tuna Roll. All of the food was delicious and had so much flavor. We also got the Egg Drop Soup and my boyfriend got the Hot and Sour Soup. It was soooo good. The server was super friendly too! They boxed up all our leftovers for us. The restaurant itself had plenty of seating and was really adorable on the inside. Will definitely be back.

I love sushi! And this place is amazing! Located in a small strip mall off greentree rd . Service was prompt and friendly! My appetizer of stuffed jalapeno I can't remember the name I want to say something like Phoenix son who are the best jalapeño appetizers I've ever had! I almost ordered a second round! All the sushi was tasty and it's not that expensive either. This will be quickly my new go to spot.

Very clean, quick service, great to get to go. The sushi is great for the area. Good quality fish and the rolls are filling.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. I got the lunch sushi. It was ver reasonably priced and the sushi was good, very fresh. My friends' meals were also good and the portions were big enough that they both were left with left overs. The service was very quick and our waitress was able to meet all of our needs. The ambiance was similar to most Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh, it could definitely use some updating, but it's fine for a short lunch. I give it a solid 4 for the service and the food.

Great sushi and we so appreciate that they can make some gluten free dishes (in addition to sushi). They keep gluten free soy sauce on hand.

The portions are on the smaller side, but by the end of the meal we were completely satisfied. Our only disappointment was the fish entrées, as both were a bit overcooked. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, it's a gorgeous restaurant with outstanding service, delicious appetizers, and a wonderful atmosphere. We'd gladly return and would recommend it for anyone looking for a special night out.

Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. This included the Breakfast Burger, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and Mr. Breakfast. The only item that fell a little short for me was the bacon. The flavor and thickness was very good, but it was too limp for each of our tastes. As for the drinks, I never pass up the opportunity to order an espresso martini. This version was excellent, smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for! Beyond the food, the experience, quick service, beautifully designed and classy furniture/decor, and friendly waitress is what elevated our experience above most restaurants. My husband tried some of my dish and immediately agreed. I didn't say anything to the staff at the time because I didn't want to cause a scene, and I wasn't sure whether this was somehow normal since I had never had linguini carbonara. After getting home, I looked into whether carbonara is supposed to have such a strong, foul smell and was shocked to learn that it definitely should not. Apparently, certain aged cheeses can develop high levels of butyric acid, an acid associated with the rancid, manure-like odor I experienced. Whatever the cause, the dish was completely inedible to me. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. My husband had the creamed corn pasta that was a special, it was as if someone cooked some noodles and then dumped half a can of cream corn on top. We were very disappointed as this dish was highly recommended by our waitress.

It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! We had fried pickles, a sunshine salad (as a side salad), and a couple of hot dogs--the bacon dog and the Picklesburgh dog. Pickles were a tiny bit greasy but crunchy and substantial.
