Went here with my family & the first thing you'll notice is the delightful smell of various Korean food & snacks. The owner of the store is super sweet & helpful. She gave us lots of food recommendations & also exchange recipes on how to cook some Korean dishes. The store has a large selection of various food goods, ranging from a massive selection of ramen/noodles, various kitchen ingredients to fresh banchans(kimchi,fish cakes, and bean sprouts,ect). She also told us that she makes the banchan & kimpop(so popular that it was sold out before we got here) herself! This is amazing discovery because the closes Korean market that sells kimpop is over the bridge in Concord area. Having a place closer & not having to cross the bridge is amazing. I'll definitely will let my friend know about this place from how amazing the hospitality & food is here! We drove here because I got curious of what they have s Korean market.. The location is already off because it is located in a secluded area, parking is rocky can destroy my tires... Food is over priced compared to other korean stores I've been to in the Bay Area.. The lady who was there lack customer service, she was just into herself the moment we stepped inside, not even greetings or something.. Worst part, the store was empty, in an overexaggerated term, small and like left over soup, ramen, some snacks, drinks, kimchi as such.. Not a regular full size store that can make you come back again and again... To be fair, and not waste our trip, we just bought some snacks... Not recommending this store, sorry! read more

I found this place on Yelp as I was looking for a Korean market close by. My family planned a Korean BBQ feast, and I was looking for a place to buy banchan and other ingredients for our meal. But not a lot of luck here. First of all, this place is deep! Unless you live close to the entrance of Travis Air Force Base, this place is FAR. For me, it wasn't worth the drive. Kim's Oriental Market is a small mom & pop market, which is fine. I'm all about supporting small businesses, except I didn't find most of the stuff I was looking for. The lady, who I'm guessing is the owner, was very nice and helpful. Most of the packaging was in Korean, so she helped me find what I was looking for. And the produce was limited - no daikon, green onions, etc. This is a good small business to support, IF you're in the area. If you're not, it's not worth the drive. I ended up having to go to Safeway to find the rest of the ingredients that I needed. read more

My husband goes here everyday to buy kbbq stuff and he always buys the green onion kimchi which is so good! Last time we went, we bought some snacks and a spam kimbap and it's really delicious! And the lady over there is very helpful and friendly! read more

My family and I have been coming here since we moved to Suisun City. It's conveniently located outside of Travis Air Force Base and has a ton of awesome Korean items that we couldn't find before all the large Asian grocery stores opened up and the vibe has always stayed the same - small family owned and operated. Although over the years the selection has gotten a little smaller, I can trust that this market would have the Korean staples that I'd need for popular dishes. I've found myself stopping by here before heading to the larger grocery stores because it's closer and because they have a great selection of frozen items that can be overwhelming in a larger store. I've been trying to find Busan Fish Cakes forever locally any this is the only location where I can find it (freezer section). Also, the get deliveries for perilla leafs Tuesday mornings and that is nearly impossible to find anywhere unless you find yourself at kp market. read more

This is a small little shop with not a lot of selection. But I'm giving it a 5 star for the Fish Cake Kimbap. I was working on installing a sign for a nearby business and got hungry. Noticed this little shop and decided to go in looking to see if they had kimbap. They had sausage and fishcake. The fishcake is DELICIOUS! I often seek out Korean markets to get Kimbap when I'm close to one and this is one of the best I've had. read more

Becky had a great description of this store "Korean store in the middle of dessert". It has the essential I needed to make Japchae , and spicy noodles I was craving. Got some kimchi that was really tasty, too. Although the store kinda looks ran down, the food looks fresh and new. A nice find seemingly in the middle of nowhere next to the military base. It's not huge but sometimes it's just nice to support the small non-white owners who are filling a niche. The staff is nice and the prices are very reasonable. Just enough basics to stock a Korean pantry with the necessities and good looking ingredients for produce in the refrigerated section. While it could be larger with more diversity, this place gets five stars for existing at all to serve a specific community of patrons. Don't miss the dining ware in the corner, there are hidden gems there at exceptionally inexpensive prices. read more

Pretty nice tiny Korean store. Has all your essentials for things you may need for cooking without having to drive out to Oakland or even San Francisco for the huge Korean Markets. This place is next to Ohkura Restauant and Pizza Hut off base. Honestly you can barely see or notice this place unless you stumble upon it. Basic goods, dry goods, frozen fish, noodles, veggies, Asian snacks, even bowls and utensils and so forth. I was looking for certain powders and amazingly this place had it! Glad I saved myself a long trip to get two things. Not sure what the comparison in price as other places and I doubt they have sales often being so small but if you need something, they might actually have it. Nice tiny place to check out. Literally can go thru the whole market in 20 steps. Hehe read more

Great little store. I just spent $16 on pickled veggies--kimchee, scallions, and daikon. God I love my daikon. I got a largish four pack that comes in a resealable bag. Nearly got sick because I ate so many of the scallions and one half of a large daikon radish. Mmmmmm. read more

Sad, empty, little market. If I were out in the middle of nowhere I would come here to visit. But looks like I have to go up to Vacaville or over the bridge to Concord. I live in Benicia. No Korean anything in Vallejo or Benicia :-( other reviews say that there are tons of things crammed into this little store, but it's no longer that way. read more

For a small grocery store they carry pretty much everything you need to find at a korean grocery store. They also have fresh produce as well, such as, napa cabbage, radish, bean sprout, sweet potatoes, etc. The male of the store is super nice. I was once there with my 1.5yr old son who took off out the door. I chased after my son out the door (this happened right after I was done paying), the owner carried my groceries for me out to my car! Price is like 5% more expensive than a big big store but it's worth the trip since you can't find another korean grocery store in the area. I stop by this place each time I am near base. read more
