    Perilla leafs!
    Lea M.

My family and I have been coming here since we moved to Suisun City. It's conveniently located outside of Travis Air Force Base and has a ton of awesome Korean items that we couldn't find before all the large Asian grocery stores opened up and the vibe has always stayed the same - small family owned and operated. Although over the years the selection has gotten a little smaller, I can trust that this market would have the Korean staples that I'd need for popular dishes. I've found myself stopping by here before heading to the larger grocery stores because it's closer and because they have a great selection of frozen items that can be overwhelming in a larger store. I've been trying to find Busan Fish Cakes forever locally any this is the only location where I can find it (freezer section). Also, the get deliveries for perilla leafs Tuesday mornings and that is nearly impossible to find anywhere unless you find yourself at kp market.

Becky had a great description of this store "Korean store in the middle of dessert". It has the essential I needed to make Japchae , and spicy noodles I was craving. Got some kimchi that was really tasty, too. Although the store kinda looks ran down, the food looks fresh and new. The man there is really nice as well, definitely coming back for my korean needs.

A nice find seemingly in the middle of nowhere next to the military base. It's not huge but sometimes it's just nice to support the small non-white owners who are filling a niche. The staff is nice and the prices are very reasonable. Just enough basics to stock a Korean pantry with the necessities and good looking ingredients for produce in the refrigerated section. While it could be larger with more diversity, this place gets five stars for existing at all to serve a specific community of patrons. Don't miss the dining ware in the corner, there are hidden gems there at exceptionally inexpensive prices.

On the way back from Tahoe to San Jose, the hubby and I decided to stop in Fairfield to pick some up from TJ's. Last time I tried grabbing the seasoning at another location, they only had two left. This location had an abundance which was nice. I was able to grab 5. I had been craving clam chowder for a while. Decided to grab the last one from here. Also picked up some blueberries since I needed some fruit for my plain greek yogurt. Big parking lot. No lines. Everything bagel seasoning in stock. All the things I was looking for. REVIEW #4031

They always have a great selection of fresh, beautiful bouquets at good prices. My girl hurt her hand and was having a rough day, so I stopped by to pick up some flowers in hopes of putting a smile on her face for when I see her. While I was there, I also grabbed a few breakfast items for myself. Like always, the store was busy but even when it's packed, the checkout lines move surprisingly fast, making it easy to get in and out without spending a lot of time waiting. The customer service was excellent as well. The cashier was friendly, and after seeing the items I was buying, they knew exactly what I was planning to make for breakfast, which made for a fun little conversation. Overall, this was another quick and easy Trader Joe's trip. Great flowers, friendly employees, fast checkout. If you're looking for fresh flowers to brighten someone's day or just need to grab a few groceries, this location is always a solid choice.

Most recently, we had a 10% off coupon that stated in large writing it expired in 7 days, only to be told there was a different expiration date hidden in much smaller print. We were only a few hours past the cutoff, and instead of offering any understanding or trying to help, the staff argued about it. Most companies with decent customer service would honor something like that. As someone with 15+ years in customer service, it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential fall so short in this area. The staff comes across as cold, monotone, and uninterested in helping customers. To make matters worse, there seems to be little to no manager or lead support available to assist with bigger issues. Unfortunately, the customer service here has been a zero every time I've visited.

I had called all over town and nobody else was selling them except a well-known sandwich place selling them for $20, and we didn't have that kind of budget. The lady named Diamond wasn't fazed at all when I ordered 16. She made the order with a smile and friendly conversation and they were outstanding sandwiches. I left for awhile to shop while she made them, and when I returned, some more co-workers were behind the counter nearby her station and they were bragging about how well she had handled the order. It looked like a nice team interaction. Please give kudos to the lady named Diamond, and also to the decision makers for choosing to sell Corned Beef Sandwiches on St. Patrick's Day, unlike the rest of Fairfield businesses!

I do consider the Store to be relatively clean compared to others, but my one big pet peeve is the fact that I've seen people leave without paying. The Deli is located close to the entrance. I have seen people order a sandwich and leave through the common entrance/egress location, which is located just a few feet from the doors. This same location, which is near aisle four, provides an easy exit when leaving the bathroom; from aisle four, you can inconspicuously walk straight out to the parking lot, bypassing all the registers. I've seen people use this aisle to leave the store with a bag of groceries in their hand or even a cart full of groceries, with no bags whatsoever. I complained to the management a few times, to no avail. Well, it looks like they finally put in guard rails that only allow you to enter the store. You must exit through one of the checkout stands. Glad this was finally done, but it probably took a noticeable loss in revenue or someone's job being on the line, before anyone noticed.
