My partner and I have been to OBC about a dozen times or so and we always have a good experience. However, today we sat in the 21+ bar area and were served/bartended by Jaren. I watched a single table go from 3 people to 12 people mid service and Jaren was unphased, serving people as they came in and handling the room mostly by himself. His service and the drinks he made were on point! Food was of course delicious. Tried the chicken sandwich with all the fixings for the first time today and it was fantastic. I'll start by saying how glad I am that the brought back the original chicken and ribs. We've been here a many times since it reopened as OBC, but tonight's service had a little extra love on it. We sat in the bar area on a busy Friday night. Amy was the only server working and was absolutely killing it. Despite being busy, my water stayed full, all requests were handled and she kept a smile on her face the entire time. The food was great as well, I ordered breadsticks, guacamole, a full rack of ribs and truffle fries. Food was hot and fresh and tasted great. I may be in a euphoric state of buzzed and full, but I can't say enough how great this location and my server is. I always love the food we get here but today it was Amy who really blew us away. It was so busy on a Friday evening and she stayed smiling and knew everything going on in the bar. My water stayed filled, our order was perfect, and suggestions were made to help enhance our night. We even saw her rolling silverware while looking at tables to see what everyone needs. Stumbled upon this place on the way back home from a weekend trip. Glad we found it and will definitely come back. The inside seemed very open and spacious while the outside was the same with a nice view. We got seated outside on the patio with a partial view of the lake. Our server was great and attentive. Tonya's customer service over the phone and email was friendly, helpful, and professional. The value of the meal was great, also. Tons of food for the price we paid. Eating at Oscar's Brewing Company was another reminder that white privilege is still present in all aspects of life. I am Asian, and my family and I went to dine here for dinner around 7:45 pm. The restaurant closes at 9, and the last call was 8:30. We sat down and placed our order at 8, but at around 8:35, I realized that I didn't get to look at the dessert menu. The food took such a long time that I honestly lost track of time. On top of that, our waitress did not come by to ask us if we wanted to order anything else before last call. I ended up looking at the clock on my phone, which made me realize that the time for last call had passed. I saw the hostess walking by us, so I stopped her and asked if we could still place an order for dessert. She told me that since it was past the time for last call, we could not place our order. Not even 5 minutes later, at around 8:38, I saw our waitress taking the order of a white elderly couple who had just sat down. Not only was it even later past last call, they were placing orders for their entire meal, not just dessert. Since I did not see it myself, I can not confirm with 100% certainty that the hostess who told us we couldn't order desert was also the person that sat the white couple, but considering the timing of her being by our area right around that time and the fact that she seemed to be the one seating everyone else, I find it highly likely. I called over our waitress and asked her instead if we could place a dessert order, and she replied by saying that seeing as she just took the other table's order, she could quickly get it in if we wanted to. Even her reply seemed as if she was reluctant to do so or only allowing us to because we saw that the other table was able to place an order. Ultimately, we decided not to order dessert, but the fact that this happened is ridiculous. I'm not sure if that couple knew someone at the restaurant, and that's why they got special privileges, but for the hostess to tell us that we couldn't order dessert because of last call when there is another table about to order their entire meal after us is absurd. I cannot think of any reason why they would be allowed to order their whole meal after last call while we couldn't add a dessert other than unequal treatment and privilege on their part, whether that be privilege due to someone they know or the fact that they're white, and we aren't. I didn't say anything at the time since our waitress was still nice enough, and we simply wanted to finish our meal and go, but I know that I absolutely will not be going back to support this business. Regardless of whether it was because of a single employee or if this is something that the restaurant does on a regular basis, I do not want to give my business to an establishment that would not treat their customers equally for any reason. On a final note, the food was nothing to rave about, especially with the inflated prices. The only thing that was very positive was the outdoor patio overlooking the pond. read more

Came here post wedding rehearsal and it was a great venue to host large parties. Luckily, we came on a Friday lunch time so it wasn't hard for our party of 18 to grab a spot. The portion sizes here are huge! The salad, tri-tip sandwich and fries, and pizza were all great. The beer selection is also vast and I appreciated they had a fun old fashion for the table drink. Service was friendly and was always there for our requests. I would recommend this place for any large group. read more

I'll try it again. ------ First Review: Who can mess up a Cobb Salad? Oscar's Brewing Company, that's who. If you look online at ANY Cobb Salad recipe or have ordered it as many times as I have, you'll see something standard about them. Bacon, hard boiled eggs, avocado, and various things. They are normally served with generous portions of said items lined up. It's not all lettuce. At OBC you get a deep bowl filled with Romain, with a mediocre dressing already applied. The normal Cobb Salad ingredients are sparsely placed on top. Huge disappointment for this overpriced, a whopping $20.45, low flavor, bowl of lettuce. I asked a busboy for salt and pepper at one point to dress it up. My waitress was equally as sparse. Their ambiance is as you'd anticipate from a brewery, Not a quiet setting but I wouldn't expect it to be. Won't be back. read more

Every year this place gets dirtier. Dirty tables, sticky tables, booth fabric stained, bar smells like barf, bar menus are sticky, dining room menus smell. Simple lack of cleanliness. My friends and I stopped by for a birthday lunch celebration and were able to get seated very quickly outside. It was a cold day, and it seemed to take a while for the heater to kick on, but thankfully when it did, it was much nicer. However, I'm not sure if it was broken since it didn't stay on for long. The view from the patio, at least, was beautiful, so it was a great spot to sit and enjoy the food. Our server was very kind and attentive. We told her we had a birthday in our party and she remembered at the very end to give us a nice treat. I think there were issues in the kitchen because the food was very far behind and there were a few drinks that weren't available to order as well. Although our server was very attentive and apologized for the wait, it did take a very long time for food to get to the table. This paired with the cold made things less enjoyable. The food itself was good. We ordered a pizza and enjoyed the tang of the toppings altogether. I split the pizza with my husband and still had a few slices for leftovers, which was nice. I will say that the chips were underwhelming in terms of cost to amount ratio. The guacamole was good but maybe not worth the price. Overall, our experience was fairly good, but there were just a few issues that would give my rating about a 3.7. I'm rounding up since I'm sure we could have had a better experience indoors and it may have been an off day in the kitchen. read more

Reading the other reviews I took a shot here. Ambiance is nice, pizza was good. As for it being a brewery, I dont know. Ordered a beer and taps are down. A brewery with taps down. Lol To get a beer you have to buy a 4 pack. Even that was a maybe because they were not sure which beer they had in stock. Ordered first round and they had the beer. Second round ordered same beer and they had to check the back to see if they still had some. I don't know about you, but if your gonna call yourself a brewery there should be an ample supply of brews. Service was fine, waitress was friendly. Maybe they are going through something idk it wasn't explained. I was only here for the weekend so doubt if I would be back. read more

The food was delicious! We ordered calamari for the appetizer (forgot to take a picture). My husband got the 12oz Ribeye entree and I got the Tri Tip dinner entree. Everything had so much flavor. The only thing that could've been better was the arugula salad it was too salty and I felt it needed something sweet or tangy to balance out the bitterness from the leafs. I'm not typically one to leave reviews...but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We stoped by about 7:30 in a Saturday night and were seated right away in the outdoor patio area. We sat and waited a good 15 minutes before I was able to get a servers attention to get our drink order and food order. After already being ignored for 15-20 mins knew food had to go in right away. She was very nice and got us our breadsticks and drinks in less than 5 minutes. Once that was dropped off, we didn't see her again for another 45-50 minutes. Food came out hot, which was fine....but 45 minutes now put us at 8:30. It wasn't busy at all. There were. Handful of empty tables all around us. There really wasn't a reason, that I could tell, for it taking so long and the waitress to be completely missing the entire wait. As suspected my son's Bulgogi bowl was terrible. Very salty and sold. Very underwhelming. He took a couple of bites and left it. I'm not sure if anyone from staff actually reads this, but it was a terrible experience and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Come to find out many of our local friends have the same sentiment. Mediocre food and extremely slow service. read more

Oscar's Brewing Company was an absolute blessing for our family. We walked in with a party of 40 people, which I know is overwhelming for any restaurant--especially as a walk-in. After calling over 12 different restaurants in Temecula and being turned away, I was feeling desperate trying to find a place that would accommodate my huge family. Oscar's didn't take a reservation due to our size, but they kindly assured me that if we came early, they would try their best to set something up. I honestly wasn't expecting all of us to be seated together--but what happened next completely exceeded my expectations. The manager, Joe, was nothing short of amazing. He went above and beyond by giving us our own private area in the back of the restaurant, allowing our entire family to sit together comfortably. We had plenty of space to celebrate, and the kids even had room to play, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable for everyone. Joe also paired us with two incredible servers who were attentive, patient, and so kind despite the size of our group. They handled everything with grace and never made us feel like a burden--only welcomed. Thanks to Oscar's Brewing Company, my parents were able to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary surrounded by family in a warm, accommodating, and joyful environment. This was such a memorable experience, and we are beyond grateful. We will absolutely be coming back for future family celebrations. I ordered the Bulgogi Beef Bowl and was honestly disappointed. The portion was super small; there wasn't much beef at all, and the amount of rice felt more like a side than a full entrée. For what they charge, it didn't feel like a good value. The flavors were fine, but when you leave still hungry after finishing your meal, something's off. We've been coming to Oscar's for years and have always enjoyed the food, so it's disappointing to say this was our first truly bad experience. Our son ordered the adult mac and cheese with tri-tip. Unfortunately, the tri-tip was very dry and tough, and the macaroni had very little cheese sauce. My husband ordered the Nashville hot chicken, which was completely flavorless and had no heat or spice at all. I ordered the bolognese, which was probably the most disappointing dish of the night. What I received was not a bolognese--it was more like a very thick marinara. Traditional bolognese includes celery, carrot, onion, pork, and beef and is rich rather than acidic. The few bites I had reminded me of canned spaghetti. Service was also lackluster. I'm not sure if there's new staff or if the kitchen was overwhelmed, but the overall experience fell well below what we've come to expect. Our bill was $126, and we ate maybe a quarter of the food. We didn't send anything back, as that's not our style and the kitchen already seemed busy, but this experience makes it difficult for us to want to return. read more

I came here for a rehearsal dinner and was impressed with the ambiance, excellent service, wonderful cocktails and delicious food. Our party was thoughtfully accommodated on the beautiful Terrance overlooking the pond and a stunning sunset. Staff was attentive and somehow able to swiftly provide endless cocktails, delicious appetizers and perfect orders for our whole table. I had a mushroom burger for my main course which was delicious and I really appreciated the vegan option! The side salad was crisp and fresh. I also tried fries, pretzels and chips and guacamole for our appetizers which were amazing. I was drinking cosmopolitans all night and they were fantastic with a beautiful presentation each time. The deserts were incredible-I tried them all and went a little overboard. The crazy chocolate desert (I forget what it's called) was SO decent and served in a giant beer mug with spindles around the rim. I also tried the cookie and bread pudding but I have to say that the berry crumble stole the show. I would highly recommend this brewery! read more

We arrived and were put on the waiting list. The hosts were personable and polite. It wasn't long before we were seated on the patio. Nice views! Once the sun set about 10 minutes later it just was too dark. We weren't under the patio cover so there was no light. Had to use my phone to see the menu. Our waitress was smiley and prompt. We ordered the tritip sandwich and the lemon chicken caeser wrap, both with the side salad. And ordered the basic fries to split. He ordered the Pine Grove beer (an IPA), which he liked. I ordered the margarita flight, which was fine. He said the wrap was OK, but he felt the anchovies were a little too prominent, I expected to love the tritip sandwich because I'd had it before and it was really good. But it was incredibly skimpy on the meat and pretty dry, so I really was disappointed. The fries were fine. Overall, the service was a 5, but the food was barely a 3.
