ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! I ordered a steak chimichanga and requested no beans but I received a soggy whatever that was supposed to be that was almost entirely filled with rice and beans. Really nice dinner to have while working a double :/

Good Mexican food! I stopped by Oscar's Piñatas recently on a Monday night. The place was not busy and the dining room was empty. I headed to the back room, which has the bar area. The bar area was a bit dark and the music was blasting over the speakers from the jukebox. The most of the other bar patrons were in their 20s and enjoying their drinks and singing along to the tunes blasting including "Thank U, Next" by Ariana Grande. Anyways, I took a seat at the bar and the bartender gave me a menu to look at. I also had an Entertainment Book BOGO Free Entree coupon, which the bartender accepted. I ordered two entrees including the Seafood Burrito ($13.95) served with rice & beans and the California Burrito ($12.95) with Shrimp served with rice & beans. Both entrees arrived together, nice and hot. The California Burrito was not messy and was filled with tender shrimp, peppers, onions, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. The Seafood Burrito was filled with tender shrimp and scallops, topped with red sauce and cheese. The Mexican rice was firm and on the wet side. The refried beans were firm and not mushy. There was a lot of food and I could only finish one entree and sampled the second entree. The bartender gave me a to go box for the extra food. The discounted check total for two dinners was $14.82 with tax and before tip, a very good deal! Overall, the food I had was solid good. The bar atmosphere seemed loud and a bit divey, but all I cared about was enjoying tasty Mexican food at good prices.

4/4/2023 Oscar was cooking and the food was soooo good! Burrito Supreme and Steak Fajitas were outstanding!

My second time here and it was as great as the first, maybe even better.. App - Boneless Buffalo Tenders: they were the best buffalo tenders I've ever tried. Okay I get it, they look weird but they're made with a different type of batter and they taste AMAZING. I could literally order these alone as a meal. Entrees - Carne Asada: The size of the flank steak was a big portion and pretty thick for the type of cut it is. It was so juicy and flavorful. Rice and beans were great and freshly made. Mexican Combo: A decent sized portion of Carne Asada and 5 huge pieces of batter-fried shrimp. It came with sauce with peppers and onions on top, which my boyfriend wasn't too happy about. He enjoyed the meal, just would have enjoyed it better without the sauce. It kind of overpowered the taste of the steak and shrimp. Other than that no complaints. They have a Groupon available, $20 for a $40 dinner for 2. We had no problem using ours. The waitress was kind and very quick to serve us. We'll definitely be back again!

If I can give these guys zero stars I would. Maybe something changed after the pandemic but this restaurant couldn't spell customer service if their life depended on it. I've been ordering from Oscar's for years. Even during the pandemic, we would order almost every week and chat it up with the owner as to how it's been tough for a lot of businesses. I gifted cards to friends for this place as the food is awesome. BUT, lately their attitude can use a little bit of adjustment. It was my father in laws birthday today and both he and his wife are vegetarian. So we call and customized orders for them. I don't eat rice and beans, I'm literally allergic to beans (yes at a Mexican joint) but they serve everything. So I personally ordered the stuffed chicken with shrimps with veggies instead of rice and beans. The wife and kid ordered their usual chimichangas. This used to come in their "special Oscar sauce". To our surprise when we came home with the food the chimichangas were dry as fried tortillas. My chicken and shrimp were smothered with rice and beans. When we called to complain, they said the chimichangas never came with sauce. For the chicken and shrimp dish which was the most expensive on our bill, they suggested to scrape the rice and beans off!!!! When I said that's not acceptable they offered sauce for the chimichangas but we'd have to come and pick it up. We live 40 minutes away!!! We only ordered from this place because we thought we liked it. I agreed to come if they fixed the chicken dish. When my wife got there they suggested they wouldn't give a replacement unless we brought the other one back. Lololol. They made the mistake!!! See the image below. Does that look like no rice and beans to you with a side of veggies?!? Food can be good if they got it right, but they don't have loyalty to those who were there for them even during the pandemic.

This is supposed to be an appetizer AKA nachos the cheese isn't even melted SMH!

I had to travel up to Massachusetts on Monday and I was quite disappointed with the lack of a New England accent on anyone. We used to be a proper country. In any event, on Monday, I went to Mexica Burrito Grill. I met a man, on the line in front of me who insisted this place was good. I was skeptical because, I don't know this guy and why was he being so friendly? I ignored the warning signs and assumed he may be correct as he too was a husky gentleman. I ordered a burrito bowl with carnitas. I told them to include the rice and beans, because a man needs fuel that sticks to the ribs, along with double carnitas, cheese, and nothing else that sounded like it belonged in a rabbit's lunch. No vegetables, no salsa, no cilantro trying to ruin a perfectly good meal. They delivered. The carnitas were delish, properly seared, and tasted like actual pork that had been treated with respect (salt, heat, and time). The rice and beans did their job, simple, hearty, and not pretending to be anything fancy. No lectures about "fresh ingredients" or where the avocado came from. No one cares, Chad. Just a solid bowl of meat and starch, which is how God intended bowls to be used. I ate it back at the hotel with a black coffee and a pocketknife for portion control. Felt like I could split logs afterward. This is acceptable food. I may return. Highly recommended for men who understand that beef or pork are staples, with enough rice and beans to keep the machine running.

If you are looking for a cozy and warm place, this is not your restaurant. It has a huge interior and a very long bar, and if you want to see a sporing event, you have found your place with multiple large screen TV's playing all the live action. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was nearly empty and sounds echoed a bit. We were greeted by our server, Delmi M, and she brought out small containers of chips with some relatively mild salsa (neither were replenished during the meal). The service was slow, but relaxing, and since were were celebrating a birthday party for a granddaughter, that suited us just fine. Wow stuck to soft drinks and water, reasonable at $3.50 for soft drinks and quickly refilled as they were emptied. The dinner plates were more than enough for each of us, and the food was delicious but rather bland for a Mexican place. We had the following: Grilled Veggie Tacos, Veggie Enchilada, Chicken Chimichanga, Chicken Tacos, Pork Belly Tacos, and Blackened Salmon Tacos. The salmon was a real taste treat, as was the pork belly. One aspect of the meal that is a perpetual problem for me is that the server removed plates as people finished the last bite, leaving no silverware or plate for sharing what the more leisurely diners might not want to finish. The food was definitely good, and I am very sure that on a busy Saturday night or during a major sporting event, this place would be rocking. The murals on the walls were colorful and diverse in their appeal. If I were looking for a romantic and private experience, I would avoid 3 Amigos, but if I wanted to gather a crowd for a sports bart experience or a roomy place to gather, I would try it again. I would also like to feel I was in a place where the waitstaff was excited to see the clientele. Their attitude could have been due to a lazy Saturday lunch without much happening.

It can feel a little cramped when it's crowded but the ambiance is nice with the soft lighting and vibrant decor. Service from the bartenders was great. Despite tacos and burritos being the only sections for main courses, some of the individual items can be meals on their own. I had the Surf and Turf quesadilla which was very filling. The tortilla has nice and crispy and there was a good balance of the different fillings (shrimp, steak, cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo). The chipotle sour cream (I assume that's what it was, the menu didn't say) was a nice addition. The cocktails are as tasty as they are cheekily named. My favorite among the ones I've tried is Smoked Mangos, which comes with a slice or torched mango. The prices for both food and drink are a little steep and the food menu is rather limited, which is the reason I give this place stars instead of 5. If you come in expecting free chips and salsa and huge portions like your typical (American) Mexican restaurant, you'll be disappointed. If you want somewhere fun to have some drinks and some smaller plates, you'll be satisfied.
