There are better Oscars than this one. Food was way too salty and the hamburger meat was burnt. Chips tasted like pure cooking oil and they were semi burnt. Won't go back to this one as i will stick to the one in Nolensville. read more

Sooooo, I arrived here at 10:05, and it is now 10:16 and they still haven't opened the door!! They have looked at me numerous times standing outside the door but I am still denied entry!! Some would question why I'm still standing here, I should take my business else where right? The problem is, once I have in mind what I want to eat it is very hard to change gears after. It's now 10:19, still standing here while they continue to stare at me and deny me entrance for tasty tacos. Very upset, this is bad business and don't plan on coming back. I grew up and lived Las Cruces and Brazito, New Mexico (USA), which is about 40 miles north of the border of Texas and Mexico and I can say the food is usually very good. I'm not a fan of their red enchilada sauce. I prefer green chile. The customer service is okay, but their choice of music is awful, and worse yet it is way too loud. Recently they quit selling fresh brewed ice tea, and that is a real shame, because nothing goes better with a Mexican lunch or dinner than a tall cool glass of unsweet iced tea. This was our first time here & we did end up having an issue. I'm deathly allergic to avocados & we requested no guacamole & the hubs made sure he told them this a few times. We didn't check it before we left,hungry & a crying child tends to make you not take the time to check & they assured us there wasn't any on it but after we got home,there It was,that green goo! But I'm still giving them 5 stars because everyone makes mistakes & they promptly fixed it & remade my order & even offered to remake the whole order,which wasn't necessary. The food is absolutely AMAZING! It was so fresh & huge portions! I ordered a shrimp burrito & they filled it with shrimp,the best meal I've had in a while! The salsa is great,it tastes so fresh & I couldn't stop eating it! I definitely recommend giving this place a try read more

Not sure what everyone is so excited about, think Taco Bell, just a little better. I have lived in Arizona and California, and grew to love authentic Mexican food. I have tried the tacos twice, and both times the meats,and I have tried them all seemed dry as if it was sitting already made then reheated on the grill. The inside is small, feels dirty, customer service is not excited or even smiling at all, I had high hopes for Oscars, they didn't live up to them. read more

I ordered the carne asada (steak) torta and it was delicious! Guacamole was on point. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 was that it was a little pricey. For two people we spent $22. And we did not order a bunch of stuff. But it is good food. At least what we had. I would spend a lot less at a Mexican restaurant AND have unlimited chips and salsa. Anyway, it is worth trying if you like Mexican food. read more

So let me be clear with this review. First, if this was based solely on food, I'd have rated this establishment between 4 and 5... the food was DELICIOUS! I have eaten alot of Mexican cuisine and Tex Mex as well and this was really good; HOWEVER... I would seriously have a hard time going back. The service was terrible. The young girl who was at the register never greeted me, never smiled, and looked downright disappointed to be there. My order was "for here", so I patiently waited (the wait was reasonable), and the whole time I was waiting, she stood there with this miserable look on her face and played with her smart phone. The business phone rang a couple of times, each time, she rolled her eyes. I think what was most appalling to me is the fact that the dining area was a mess. Trash/food all over the floor, dirty trays stacked considerably high on top of the trash can, and the tables were NASTY. All while she stood there playing on her phone. I guess I just don't get it. I have managed many people (still do) and successful establishments in my time and I can't understand how customer service and "cleanliness", especially in a restaurant environment are acceptable. To top it off, the restroom was FILTHY and had no paper towels. :( I wish my review could be more reflective of the food alone, because the experience as a whole was not one to be desired or deserving of a return trip. :( read more

Foods good. Always served fast and hot. I like their chimis and chorizo breakfast burritos. Rolled tacos are good too. Never disappointed.

This is one of my regular places to eat. The food is cheap, good, and authentic. They offer take-out and it's always ready when I come to pick it up. The servers are always nice- almost too nice. All in all a great place to eat when you're a college gal like me. read more

It's our first time to the restaurant. It's filled with friendly environment. The cashier was helpful with the orders. The menu was easy to choose. We looked to the right of the menu for the unfamiliar named item. The foods served fast and delicious. After orders taken, number given, we went to sit and waited for our number called. I have eaten here 3 times because co workers bragging about how awesome it is! Since I love Mexican food I was excited. The first night I ordered a beef burrito and the first few bites were good. After I made it half way through it became so salty I absolutely could not eat another bite and I threw the rest in the trash. The second time everyone started to order I asked if anyone had ever gotten a salty burrito and they said no. So I thought well, maybe I got a bad one. So I ordered a chicken burrito this time. Believe it or not the exact same thing happened. I ate half of the salty thing and threw the rest in the trash. I was sitting at a table full of people gorging themselves on the same food. I asked if they found it salty and they said no. The third time I ordered with coworkers I got the fish tacos. With one person going to pick up food for everyone else it takes a while for the food to arrive. So the fish tacos had a good taste, but not a good idea to order and have them sit around for a while. They are fried, so they get mushy after a while. Anyways, I really wanted to love the place like everyone else. It is just to damn salty for me. read more

We went in about 7pm. The place is filthy( Tables very nasty, floor filthy, counters filthy and very warm in the dining room. I had 1 carnitas taco and 2 ground beef tacos. The meat was way to salty in both styles of tacos. I then spent the rest of the night squirting the food( poison) I deposited in my body. The owners should be ashamed of the way this place is being ran. OWNERS: clean up this place or find another business to run that doesn't involve food. CUSTOMERS: beware...Take time to look around this place and when you see the filth don't ignore, just turn and go to another place that is safe to eat at. I will never go back but I will pass on this info to whoever I come into contact with. I eat at places all over Sam Ridley and haven't had this experience ever. There are alot of choices in the Area so just find one that is clean and safe. BTW we sat waiting for our food about 15 minutes and 3 different couples left. Those tables were not even touched by a rag before others came in and sat down. read more

Don't eat their enchiladas! The enchilda sauce was super sweet and the shreded cheese in my enchilada wasn't melted. Basically the sauce tasted and smelled like it came out of a cann. I should of stuck with their fish tacos. read more
