This is the receipt, Devon gave me when I paid for the whole repair on the bike on 8-7-19. But now they added charges and are saying I owe them more money that the bike is done. I asked for a receipt and they gave me this. Devon Weist doesn't know what he is doing. He called up Joe (Service manager) just to figure out how to ring up the total repair. Then lost a customer because he wouldn't even knowledge the customer waiting for a quote for tires. When I was in their trying to understand the bill and make sure I paid for everything that day. Devon had to call the boss Joe (the service manager) just to figure out how to take my money. It seems very strange to me that only one person knows how to run the shop. Joe called me today (8-8-19) and said the bike is done but we owe more money. ??? Shop supplies, hazardous waste, tax and other charges. The thing is all of those items should of been on the bill in the first place. Not added when the job is done. I wanted to pay for it all not be surprised later. Joe told me he can never give exact price until the job is done. When I asked why this wasn't explained to my husband or I. He said it's because we used insurance and the final price is never done until the job is done. Why would you charge more if someone was using insurance than someone walking in for a job to be done?? Seem a little fishy to me. Be very careful with this shop. They leave all the bikes outside with the keys in them lined up. I couldn't believe how easy it would be to take one. But you have to sign a waiver that they aren't responsible for lost or stolen items. My bike sat outside for over a month. I will never trust this shop. There customer service sucks and no one knows what they are doing. read more

I was looking forward to doing business with a local Honda dealer rather than my usual internet vendors. I stopped by there to get a quote on some prices for engine parts to see how they stacked up to other places. Their prices seemed fair. While there I also purchased some handlebars and grips that they had in stock. Once I arrived home I removed the handlebars from the packaging and noticed that they'd been mounted (clamp marks and scratches from controls and grips being mounted). I felt a little silly having paid full retail price for something that had been removed from the packaging and scratched and marred. I returned to the store an hour after I had purchased them and explained the wear on the part. The employee I was speaking with turned to the other employee at the parts counter sitting next to him and asked him if the bars had been mounted. He replied "No....wait, I mounted them on my sled and didn't like them so I took them off". To summarize, an employee opened a new part, scratched and marred it, then put it back in the packaging for full retail price without letting potential buyers know about it. I was not offered an apology for having to figure this out on my own. I had to ask for a discount on the part , which was given at about 14% off MSRP (which I begrudgingly accepted). This interaction, however, demonstrated a willingness to be deceptive/careless with parts and how they are conveyed to the customer. Major disappointment the first time I was here. Let's see if they can get it right this time. Seeing a bike you thought was new turn out to be used and scuffed really puts a damper on your buying mood. They tried to sell me a bike with 88 miles that was covered in dirt and had scratches all over it as new. They also only wanted to take $500 for the damages and the mileage. I had to haggle and argue to even get $1,000 off for the damages and I am even purchasing over $1,000 in accessories for the motorcycle from them. I'm giving them another shot to try to repair the bike and make an appropriate deal. They attempted to buff off the scuff and scratches but they couldn't get them all out, and there were many scuffs and deep scratches still left. They also would not take the panels off to realign them either to make it look right. They stated that the Honda rep came out to even look at it and he stated that the bike would need the panels removed and realigned. The Dealership stated that they would not do that. They also stated that they learned that an employee drove the motorcycle to lunch everyday and that is where the miles, wear, and damage came from. They do not know where the solo cowl is and it needs a new windshield, or even the owners manual. Kevin was nothing short of great to work with as a pleasant sales individual. At this time I couldn't come to a deal with the dealership but I'm still hopeful of finding my next dream bike. Unfortunately, it won't be at this dealership for their VFR 800 in white. read more

Came in for a simple tire change on my dirtbike, brought in the wheel 5/16/15 @ noon. Came in 5/18/15 at 4pm, Hadn't heard from them all day. They insisted I needed a new tube and had to wait for it to show up, I informed them the tube was still good just might be low on air. They completed the job an hour and a half later. When I went to checkout they added two $9 charges for the removal/re-install of rim locks? That wasn't on the invoice when I dropped it off, If only I had the receipt in my car i'd actually be able to contest it. I've never had to pay for that at Bob's cycle. $9 to take a nut off? And to charge it twice? Changing a dirt bike tire is a 10-minute job. Also when I dropped off my bike tire I saw a sign for "50% off all motocross gear", found some nice pants and went to checkout. They were only $6 cheaper because the 50% was off MSRP not the dealer sticker price. Shady advertisement. I figured they were closer to me than bob's cycle, But it might be worth the drive back to bob's. Not impressed. read more

Terrible service. Gave them a snow blower I found on the curb that didn't work and they said they would look into fixing it. This was back in March of this year. It is now August and I still don't know if they are able to fix it and every time I call they say they are working on it and will call me when it's ready or they are sure they can't fix it. Five months. Only up side is they said they would do it for free so I can't really complain too much, I guess. They have terrible communication with me and between each other. Really just a joke. I was even told it was done once when I called and asked why it was taking so long and the guy I talked to wouldn't let me tell him the story and just told me the snowblower was done and then hung up on me. The snowblower wasn't done, it hadn't even been touched (this was around June). I went there to find it not done and the guy I talked to apologized and said he would talk to the person who told him it was done. He hung up on me and didn't even ever see the actual snowblower before. In summary, terrible service and incompetent people. read more

Ordered a tire , the man asked if I needed just the tire or it mounted as well. Told him I needed both and asked what the final price would be , he told me 175 so I gave him my card over the phone and asked when I can make an appointment to have it put on. He said once it's in to come in and they will put it on quick. Turns out they wanted another $70 to mount it and wouldn't be able to get me in for 3 weeks. Really dissatisfied. read more

this is the only shop i could find that would work on my 1988 honda hawk NT650. most shops in the metro area will say no to working on bikes that are over ten years old, this shop didn't, they happily accepted it. one of the other shops in town turned me down but the guy on the phone said he had a shop at home and would work on it, sounded shady especially when he sent me an invoice before working on it, money up front. I went to pick it up after two weeks there since they were backed up and it had an issue they thought they fixed, waited 20 minutes and eric he manager comes out and asks if he can keep it another day or so, i happily did that. went in the second time to pick it up with no extra charges for the extra work, wound up buying a tank bag and new helmut. went out back to start the bike up and both mechanics came over and started chatting with me, showing me things on the bike like i had just bought it forms them. one of the mechanics asked me what i was doing on sunday, if i wasn't busy why not come ride with him and some of his friends and he would show me how to ride better since i haven't ridden in ten years. i had to decline since i worked. these guys treated me like family without even knowing me. i have found my shop for my bike. read more

Gary (Parts Manager) was extremely helpful with finding some parts for an old snowblower. He also gave me a great tip for backing out a bolt that was snapped off in the engine block. I would definitely recommend them as a resource for your small engine parts needs. read more
