The pasta special. It was filled with Seabass. I have never eaten anything like it anywhere in the world. Be adventurous

So, this spot really deserves a 5. Gus, who I believe is the owner, was super accommodating and incredibly helpful. It is a beautiful, quality space. Gus presented a number of specials. I wish that he had recommended a number of favorites for that restaurant as it was our first time. I tried the pasta special, which while brilliantly prepared, was not really to my taste. I photographed that dish and the dish my cousin had which was halibut. Incredibly well presented. Again she was not thrilled with the dish although it was very good. On the upside the calamari was a knockout, the bread was incredible, the dessert was completely off the hook, a chocolate dish that's at the top of the dessert menu. Definitely, try this place. But be sure to inquire what's on the menu that's among the favorites if it's your first visit.

Great find in Brentwood! Ordered from the lunch menu - avocado salad with grilled chicken breast; grilled vegetables with ricotta; filet of sole; pollo Milanese and bucatini arrabiata. Excellent! Service was amazing, servers were attentive. I highly recommend!

This is a sole dish which is super delicious and unique!!!

This is truly a neighborhood gem. Warm and welcoming dining room where you can actually hear the person you are with talk. Everyone from the maître D, Hostess and the chef who I believe is also part owner are really on their game ! The menu and specials are really outstanding. We were a party of four and everyone had a different meal and wow were we all impressed!!! This is not to be missed. BTW they have valet parking..

A very nice cozy Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. It's buzzing on a Saturday evening. The vibe is casual cool. The food was amazing. They can accommodate any request. We had different dishes to share for a table of 8. Thanks to Jean the manager. He's the best. Customer Service is above par. Food wise - we had the specialties including the fish flown of the day from Italy. The fresh pasta, the crudo, the tomahawk steak, along with freshly shaved white truffles are to die for. The desserts were amazing as well. We had some shaved truffles on our vanilla sundae as well. I definitely recommend this place. It is a gem in the local neighborhood. I can't wait to go back. Valet parking available.

I have been coming here for a few dinners. Tonight, I met Jean and I loved his exuberance and passion for his restaurant. I go out to eat all the time and it is rare to meet people like Jean who care about the experience. The food speaks for itself. It is consistent, delicious and great. What kind of restaurant is consistently full on a weekday, much less a Tuesday? If you are coming from out of town, are in town or are ready to feel like you are in LA, come!

Love the environment, it's a small cozy bistro setting with outdoor and indoor seating. We got seated inside and you can view the open kitchen, venting is quite good you don't really get bothered by the grease from the kitchen. We ordered: Involtini (6-7/10): Eggplant rolls with tomato and parmigiano sauce, basil recommended by the server, not a fan of eggplant dish usually but the sauce and texture is quite good. Roasted on the outside with soft stuffing. It's very light dish, great if you've a meat entree. Wish I've tried the meatball instead. Gnocchi Di Burrata (7.5/10): very creamy, truffle sauce. This dish gets heavy, but it's very rich and thick. Gnocchi texture is very nice too, paired with zucchini. I rarely see large gnocchi like this, very chewy and soft. Cacio e pepe (7/10): perfectly al-Dante, love the presentation of putting the freshly cooked pasta onto the cheese wheel. Seasoned with extra black pepper, very simple dish and did it the right way. Personally, I prefer to have a meat entree to share on the side if I'm having this pasta because it could be bland and straight forward. Simple but lack of depth. Lasagna (7.5/10): decent lasagna, love the baked spinach chips on the side that balances out the heaviness from the cheese. It's chef's special, not overly cheesy. Good, nothing wow. Ice cream (coconut/ mango/ lemon): standard Service: good, love the way how they offer a bag hook for our takeout. Detailed focus, and warm hospitality. Good Overall, it's a decent neighbourhood spot for classic Italian food. Nothing shocks, it's a comfy cozy spot. Not noisy, good to have conversation and dinner.

First time here. Definitely my new Pasta kitchen in Brentwood area. Love the people, very friendly and I highly recommend the Tagliatelle and home made Pasta. The Burrata/Prosciutto was to die for. Perfect pairing with Calamari. The 3 Gelato was really good, as well as the Tiramiso. Great ambiance, not too loud and perfect lighting.

I have been to a few restaurants in this space, starting when it was Zax. The food at all of the restaurants have been stellar, 5-star. Last Friday, I had a hankering to try Osteria Vera: I am so glad I hankered! The interior is PERFECTLY lit. It has the intimacy that a restaurant like this needs. The atmosphere is just what was needed after a hectic morning. I also love the fact that you could watch the process of the cooking. The waiters have excellent memories, remembering past orders: impressive since I don't dine here often. While the price is expensive, I was about an experience and an escape. THAT is what I received! Oh... And the food! I ordered the Gnocchi Burrata: two of the most glorious words in the of culinaracracy! It was beyond stellar! I only wish there was more. This was the perfect lunch and hope I see you there!

From the moment I walked in I knew this small place was special. Its an intimate place with dim lighting and incredible food. The server allowed us to dine for 3.5 hours of wine appetizer, entree, and desert and nothing disappointed. Embarrassingly I left my wallet but fortunately they do have after pay. I dined with a professional food scientist and she really liked all we ate, so I find it deserving of 5 stars.

I brought my mom here while she was visiting and we both loved it. It's very quaint and comfortable and has great vibes. And of course the food is exceptional. The stuffed gnocchi is one of the best dishes I've ever had. The service was exceptional and our server was very attentive. Overall I highly recommend and I'll definitely be dining here again.

The food overall was good, but we both felt everything on the menu was slightly overpriced and nothing felt out of this world enough for us to potentially come back. The burrata with beets was really good - I'm not sure what I expected, but I'm not typically one to just eat beets, but they were super flavorful. The paccheri was cooked perfectly al dente and I really appreciated that the sauce had the seafood flavor infused/worked into the sauce. So many tomato based seafood pastas miss the mark by just throwing seafood into the dish and not incorporating it into the sauce, which wasn't the case here. The cacio pepe was really good!! Although my fiance found it to be a little salty. The pasta was cooked perfectly as well for this dish. The service was good - I can't remember our waiter's name but he was super friendly. We walked to the restaurant since we live in the neighborhood, but there was valet for $14.

    Scallop special.

I'd come back just for this alone! The garlic bread is also good. The bread was hot and fresh. Surprisingly, I think it could use a little more flavor as the parmesan cheese and garlic alone does not make for a strong flavor profile despite its appearance. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm. We did not like the lasagna rotini as the smokey flavor was too overpowering. They offered a special which was the stuffed crab shells, I really wish we got that instead of the lasagna. We had to make a reservation well in advance. The day of, they closed for the day and moved our reservation about a month up. Luckily, we were still able to make it for the rescheduled date and we even got a complimentary slice of tiramisu for the inconvenience. Well worth the anticipation, some of the best tiramisu I've had! Ambiance is romantic with dim lighting and the place had a great aesthetic for modern cozy Italian dining. Service was also very good. Parking is definitely tricky especially on a weekend night. We ended up ubering so we wouldn't be late to our reservation time.

Parking is pretty difficult. They have cute drinks and a wine menu. Definitely get a spritz, the one here is very refreshing. The menu has some great options. We got the garlic bread, caesar salad, spicy vodka pasta and the chicken parm. Hands down the best chicken parm I've had. It kind of ruined future chicken parms for me because nothing is going to top this. Caesar salad was very delicious too, super balanced, not weighed down by too much dressing and had a generous amount of cheese. I'd also put their garlic bread at the top, it's rich in flavor and the texture is spot on. The vibe inside is cozy and intimate, and our server took great care of us. I know, crazy, right? But we did it! You'd think just having the Porterhouse would be enough -- apparently it wasn't because we started with bread. At our server's recommendation we chose the bruschetta. Wow, what a fantastic start! The crunchy charred bread topped with the creamy Burrata and house made apricot jam was beyond delicious! Then he asked for his favorite pasta from our last visit -- SPAGHETTI ALL'ARRABBIATA. We can never get tired of this one. The house made pasta coated in that spicy sauce is so satisfying. Then came the steak. Although our server warned us that it was huge, we were still surprised when it arrived. But then came the included sides of fried fingerling potatoes and Ruchetta salad -- to say 'generous portions' is an understatement. I literally laughed at the mountain of salad when it arrived. It was all just incredible. The Prime Porterhouse was at the correct temperature, seasoned well and melt in your mouth amazing. The fried potatoes were hot, crisp and tasty. The salad was so good that the husband ate it -- I couldn't believe it! I tapped out early and in order to leave room for dessert, I had to force the husband to stop. We chose the CROSTATA DI MARMELLATA because of the apricots. We were so happy to have dined while they're in season and incorporated into Mother Wolf's menu. We were then surprised with complimentary sorbet (NETTARINA) and gelato (VANIGLIA) for our birthdays. Beautifully presented, the sweetness of each dessert was perfectly balanced and a wonderful end to a fantastic dinner. And this goes without saying -- service was impeccable. Thanks to the Mother Wolf team for another great experience!
