    Burrito

I ordered a asada burrito and they forgot to put everything else that comes in it. No rice no beans etc. There was a time when osunas used real carne asada. This was very chewy. A burrito like this should no more than $8.99. They really stepped down in quality here.

We were starving. Arrived around 3:30 after a day at the Nixon Library. We asked and were seated immediately at an outside table. Clean, nice music playing. Chips and salsa were brought and we ordered guacamole. Wonderful. I ordered the "Hollenbeck" burrito-huge super delicious. My wife got a fish taco and a carnitas taco. Wonderful. The tortillas were being made fresh right by our table. The waitress was very friendly and helped us with questions about catering.

The food is really good, and my son loved it, especially the music. The staff is very friendly, and the ambience was great. I've been coming to this place for many years but hadn't visited in a while. I'm glad to see they're still operating, and I will definitely be coming back again.

We've been coming to Osuna's for over 20 years. We love that the food is freshly cooked. While the menu has changed over the years, I do miss their Shrimp A La Diabla plate. Today, I had the Shrimp Ranchera and it was very tasty, but I wish they would bring back A La Diabla.

Absolutely worth the drive! We live a ways from Osuna's, but let me just say--it was so worth it. The shrimp and fish ceviche was absolute perfection: super flavorful and didn't need a single thing added. Same with the guacamole--and I'm really picky when it comes to guac. I usually end up adding lemon or salt, but this one was spot-on as is. Prices were very affordable, and the restaurant itself is super cute. Our only complaint was the music. It just didn't match the vibe. They were playing a lot of Mexican pop like Shakira, but when we're at a Mexican restaurant, we're hoping for the classics--Ramón Ayala, Vicente Fernández, etc. That kind of music would've made us want to hang out and spend more. Hopefully the music will be better next time, because if it is, we'll definitely stay longer and order more! Also our waitress Martha was the best! She was very attentive, super nice, checked on us regularly. She went above and beyond for us. She invited us back for Sunday brunch, and we will definitely come back to give it a try asap :)

My husband and I have been going to Osuna's for decades, but we haven't eaten there in a few years. We recently ordered a Hollenbeck burrito (chile verde, Mexican rice, refried beans, and topped with chile verde). The prices have definitely gone up, and this burrito cost $15. However, it was huge. And, it was delicious! It was enough for both of us, and we couldn't even finish it. Our absolute favorite is their Huevos Nortenos (two eggs over easy served over a tortilla, topped with green chile sauce, cheese, and sliced avocado). It also comes with a chunk of pork! It's the best breakfast in town!

But before ordering, we waited over 10 mins just to take our order. The restaurant was short staffed with only 1 server tending to 8 tables and 4 to go orders during our dining. She was very nice and served with a smile but she was pulled from all different directions and also checking the back to serve the good. I felt very bad for her and wished she had more help so it was a better experience for the customers and staff. All the food here is very reasonable with huge portions you can share as family style. I higher recommend the chicken quesadilla and the steak and check fajitas. I don't recommend the nacho since the plate portion seemed light compared to other places. The plate looked much later in the menu pictures. We also ordered the Pancho Molcajete that came with shrimp, steak, cheese and onions. it was not worth $42 and no it doesn't serve for 2 people. It was more of the black salsa sauce in the bowl than the actual food. Very disappointing and not worth the price. I would come back to order to go but not ever come back for a sit down!

I had the opportunity to try out this restaurant today. Let's go over each part of the experience…read more Ambiance: My initial impression was that the restaurant itself was clean and tidy. However, none of the usually warm attributes of a family owned establishment. The was a distinct lack of color and warmth. Service: The service was good. I was greeted quickly and shown to a table very promptly too. (It was 4pm so it was after the lunch crowd and before dinner.) I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to experience the best possible service.) Menu: The menu had lots of options but I was set on exploring their taco Tuesday special. I ordered one of each. Food: My first surprise was when I was offered chips and salsa for $1.99. This is usually a free item at most restaurants but I thought to myself, if they are going to charge, then it must be something to talk about. I WAS WRONG! The chips were homemade but not to order. As a result, they were cool to the touch. The portion was modest and the salsa itself was barely an elevated tomato purée. That was almost no discernible spice to it. Then came the tacos. They were the small traditional street taco size which was just fine. However, none of the 4 tacos that I ordered had any noticeable heat. They were not quite cool to the touch but the certainly were not hot either. The presentation was nice as they were set on a long rectangular plate side by side and dressed with traditional cilantro and onions. I ordered 4 different meat types but the only offered one small shot glass sized salsa for all 4 of them. Sense of welcome: They were showing one of the World Cup games. In other circumstances, I might have ordered more tacos, maybe a dessert or even a beer. Unfortunately, at this point, I didn't want to stay. If I wanted more chips, they were going to charge another $2. It wasn't the $2 that was the problem, it was simply that nothing to that point was worth staying for. If they cannot get a simple plate of tacos served correctly when there was nobody else in the restaurant, I don't think there's any reason to go back to try anything else. I would have been better off at a taco truck.

We were one of the only customers there but as we were finishing up our food, a line developed. My wife was craving nachos so she ordered that but I only got tacos. The cashier taking the order was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Food I was shocked by the amount of stuff that they piled on top of the tacos. Most of the places just give you tacos with onion/cilantro/salsa and you grab side toppings separately. I actually enjoyed it because they threw a little bit of everything on there. All the taco meats had great flavor and the salsa had a good kick to it. I preferred the red one over the green. Definitely have to come back and try some of their other items.

It's a food truck, so you're really there for the food, but the staff was welcoming and they were cranking out orders as fast as they could. I happened to show up right as a big wave of people ordered, so my food took a little longer than expected, but considering how busy they were, I can't really hold that against them. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking them out, especially for the Taco Tuesday specials. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

San Antonio College and honestly the location is perfect. The second I walked in, it was nonstop customers coming in and out, which is always a good sign. Even with how busy it was, the staff really stood out to me. The best way I can describe them is "bien atentos," like they treat you warmly and make you feel comfortable right away, almost like family. That kind of energy changes the whole experience. The music was great, the vibe felt super homie and welcoming, and overall it just felt like one of those spots people genuinely enjoy coming back to. I ended up getting the taco sampler and it was fantastic. Everything came out surprisingly fast considering how packed the place was, and you could tell the kitchen had a solid rhythm going. It honestly reminded me why Taco Nazo has such a loyal following in SoCal. The only thing I'll mention, and hopefully it improves over time, was the health rating posted in the front. It made me pause for a second, so hopefully that's something they tighten up because the food and overall experience were genuinely really good. Still, I'd definitely come back because the service and atmosphere alone made this visit memorable.
