Finally got to try this truck after moving to this area over three years ago. They're located just outside the Stater Bros plaza entrance. We were one of the only customers there but as we were finishing up our food, a line developed. My wife was craving nachos so she ordered that but I only got tacos. The cashier taking the order was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Food I was shocked by the amount of stuff that they piled on top of the tacos. Most of the places just give you tacos with onion/cilantro/salsa and you grab side toppings separately. I actually enjoyed it because they threw a little bit of everything on there. All the taco meats had great flavor and the salsa had a good kick to it. I preferred the red one over the green. Definitely have to come back and try some of their other items. read more

Really solid taco truck with friendly people, a good sized menu, and prices that are hard to beat. Nothing I ordered completely blew me away, but every taco was flavorful and I'd happily order them again. It's a food truck, so you're really there for the food, but the staff was welcoming and they were cranking out orders as fast as they could. I happened to show up right as a big wave of people ordered, so my food took a little longer than expected, but considering how busy they were, I can't really hold that against them. This is probably one of the cheaper burritos around, with it totaling $9.36. I went with the al pastor and there were some hard pieces in there, probably because it was charred too much, but overall not bad. I appreciated that it came with grilled onions and peppers and that you could grab all the salsa you wanted on the side of the truck. The worker was friendly and the food came out within minutes but that was because it was a Thursday at 3 pm with no one in line. There are some chairs outside for you to sit on, but you can also easily take your order to go since they put it in a plastic bag. read more

Tried Tacos El Güero on Taco Tuesday and was really impressed. We got the $1.50 al pastor and buche tacos, and I also tried a couple of their sopes. Everything was really good, flavorful meats, solid portions, and the sopes were especially satisfying. Thankfully the service was pretty good and quick. Is it as good as Tacos El Gordo in San Diego or Vegas? Not quite, but that's a high bar. For my area, though, this is a great spot and definitely worth coming back to. We were back in the area for another swim meet and decided to eat some burritos before heading home. 3 burritos and a pineapple aqua fresca for $45 (with tip) is so so worth it. We ordered asada and al pastor tacos, and both were excellent. The asada was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I especially loved the grilled onions on top. The al pastor was also delicious, well-seasoned, & not overly oily. They've got a self-serve salsa bar with fresh lime, cucumbers, and all the toppings you need, which makes it even better. I've been here plenty of times since I pass by often, usually on Tuesdays for the $1.50 taco deal (same price on Thursdays). It's a solid, affordable spot overall. Food quality can be a bit inconsistent--some days the meat is really flavorful, other times it's a little dry or less seasoned. Still, for the price, it's hard to complain. Finally gave it a shot, and its a really solid spot for tacos and burritos, especially for the price I tried the Carne Asada Burrito (~$10) and a few tacos. The burrito was packed with well-seasoned steak, rice, beans, and salsa. The tacos were also great, and if you go on Taco Tuesday, theyre only $2.25 each. Good local spot to get tacos, and it is conveniently located next to two plazas so there should be plenty of parking. I had the Al Pastor and Asada tacos. The Al Pastor came in generous chunks and had sweet, smoky, and tangy notes. The Asada was quite minced, which really muted any beef flavor. Tacos come garnished with onions and cilantro. Their tacos and Sopes are good. I like that they have meats like suadero, cabeza, buche, lengua, and tripa. All good - sometimes more tender & juicy than others. But always nicely seasoned. The tortillas are freshly griddled and the Sopes have nice texture. Love love love this food truck. The food, the employees, everything! The tacos are great and super clean, I've never found fat in any of the meat. This is coming from someone who is born in Mexico and constantly travels to Mexico and eats original Mexican tacos lol. I also like their tortas and their wet burritos. I go at least every month and the employees already know me and they're always so kind. Oh hell yeah! No frills, good tacos, priced fairly. We tried the tripa, al pastor, and carne asada tacos and everything was really solid. There needs to be something said about a place that has good tripa because a lot of places don't know how to prepare it, and it can end up gross. But they know what they're doing here. Everything was served up with fresh cucumber and radish slices, and some grilled jalapenos and onions. There was a salsa bar just outside. Their salsa is not watered down at all, and has a bit of kick. They've got some stools set up outside and has that street food vibe. If you are going to eat there, know that they don't have tables. I enjoyed the Cabesa tacos and the Asada burrito. I also had an Asada taco, the asada can be better, lacks a bit in flavor. The Adobada is decent. Well well we'll... there's a Tacos El Guero in Rowland Heights as I recently discovered the Tacos El Guero in Arcadia. But, I discovered the Rowland Heights truck on Taco Tuesday so that was a very pleasant surprise. The menu (no prices) and food is pretty much the same as the Arcadia truck but this one has some specials like a breakfast burrito which will be what I order on my next visit. They were pretty busy tonight and are parked at the Northwest corner of Colima and Brea Canyon Road (the actual street that the truck is parked) and most people park in the private lot with the Stater Brothers market. Solid Mexican food and you can't beat Taco Tuesdays! I hope the breakfast burrito tastes as good as the description. read more

The Tacos de Birria were really good I do recommend , as for the asada, pastor Tacos they could be a little better. The meat tasted steamed , I like my meat with a little crunch.
