My requests are not outlandish, you treat me as such because I recognize the cash grab. Prior to that thought. 1. Between the Funeral home representatives and the Mortuary representatives, the cost is upwards to 50k to bury someone. 30k for the plot - 16k for funeral home costs. Let's not forget taxes on my end having to pull that much money from the bank for an UPFRONT COST. They claim payment plans are available - it's a credit card that you have to apply for. No other pricing arrangements were suggested to me. I feel as though I have been discriminated and targeted on the assumption that I might have money. 2. I've made several attempts to call and speak to Warren - Never calls back. I've made several attempts to itemize the bill. NO CALL BACK. They even said you can itemize the bill! This tells me a lot about their business practice. If you don't make their deal, you will be cast aside. Sickening.

She took us to an office in the back of the building it looked like a storage area with a couple desks added. I got past all that and when it was time to pick up his remains.I was told to go to the reception desk and they would help me. I introduced myself and the very nice lady told me wait just a minute. She left the room and came back with the urn with my husband of 56 years in a bag and set him on the desk. I couldn't believe it they could have taken me to a private room to give me a minute at least to compose myself . The receptionist had me sign a paper and handed me my husband's folded flag , I can't imagine being treated like this in a place that is suposed to be caring and a place to mourn our loved ones. Due to situations with my mother's finances we could…read morenot own a prepaid plan as it would have disqualified her for the help she was receiving but I was told that we needed the services of An Lac we could trust that this is what we would be charged. A year later when I am "In need" somehow the price went to $3900... Then to add insult to insult/injury; an hour after I left their office they called me to apologize and tell me that they were "Willing to work a special deal for me" This was the day after my mother passed. I can't explain to you to you how incredibly horrible this made me feel but I will tell you that I was able to match the initial quote with another supplier and move on with my grieving process. I work literally across the street from where this took place and (their office) and even though it's been 3 months since this situation it makes me sick when I see their sign as I am leaving or returning to the office. Shameful transaction.
