Husband contacted them after father-in-law was buried at Rose Hills. Rose Hills charges a lot for everything. Roger was friendly & helpful. Must make appointment as he is not there all the time. He qas flexible in meeting with us & when we wanted to go in earlier, he was already there so he was fine with it. Roger made the whole process as easy as possible for us & did not take too long to show us the design we wanted to have for the headstone. We went with the black granite with a line around the edges, a crowd with praying hands overlapped. Roger made it exactly the way we wanted. We wanted to include my father-in-law's full name in English & Korean and Roger was able to do it. He even had 3 different font options in Korean. Extra charge for foreign characters but he does not charge per letter but just a flat fee. He's familiar with the rules different cemeteries have about headstones, will coordinate with Rose Hills to get the headstone approved, & will deliver the headstone once it's completed. Thanks Roger. I had never thought in my wildest thoughts or dreams to ever had to draft, plan or create a marker for my late father. Initially, my family and I had to decline the offer and included marker from Forest Lawn because they did not enable unlimited text and include a portrait of him. After searching for a while, we found Panda Memorials and let me say that they did a really exceptional job in helping my family and I. I appreciate the integrity of their opinions were in regards of the details - the choice of font, the placement of my father's photo, the type of metal, etc. At one point it was overwhelming because everything looked great, but we were so specific. They were very empathetic of what we wanted and drafted options on their program and after working with us, they showed us how it would look - exactly how we envisioned. We had an appointment consultation, the whole process did not feel rushed and we felt that the collaboration was straight forward yet it was more than enough time for them to listen, communicate, and draft something for us. They did state that it was going to take ten weeks to make and have it delivered. However, to our surprise we had received a notification from Forest Lawn that the marker was delivered two weeks early! When we finally saw the marker, my family and I can't express how beautiful the quality is! We have sent photos to family all over the world and everyone could not agree more how beautiful it turned out. After paying half of the total payment, the marker arrived in exactly 8 to 12 weeks, which also happened to be my late brother's birthday. I was ecstatic! FYI, just make sure you find out what requirements the cemetery may have for your markers and headstones, as well as any installation fees. In a time when some businesses ghost their customers (and I've had that happen), my family and I were relieved at how responsive Roger was to our questions and requests. We looked at other vendors, but reviews for them were really disappointing. We couldn't bring ourselves to go to any of them, even when we thought we might not have a choice. Thankfully we found Panda Memorials. Roger explained the whole process during our first phone call, and pricing was upfront and reasonable. What impressed us most (apart from how beautiful the finished marker is) was Roger's patience with the number of changes and smallest adjustments we requested during the proofing process. (Our changes had nothing to do with errors Panda made, because there weren't any.) When we'd send changes to him, he seemed to respond in a matter of minutes with a new proof and our changes exactly in place. It's rare to see that kind of responsiveness and conscientiousness, and we were grateful for it. Having a marker made for a lost loved one is difficult enough without having to deal with poor communication. Not once did we experience that. From the first call to the last email letting us know the marker was delivered to the cemetery for placement, there was never a problem. It was also completed sooner than we'd expected and looks exactly the way we wanted. This was a bronze companion marker for my father who died, and my mother who survives him. When she saw it, she was moved by how beautifully it turned out. And my family is happy that it was made with such great quality and care, the way a lasting memorial should be. Turnaround time from service inquiry to completion of cemetery marker was roughly a little over a month which was very impressive! Prior to the initial appointment I went online to see their work and picked one to modify for my needs. Roger was very patient and attentive to our needs. He explained everything from business side and made it clear that due to demand service might take longer than expected. He also adviced us to pick a different picture from the one we took because it was blurry and hard to work with. No detail was overlooked in this process. We got straight into the design I saw online and he started to put it all together until it was exactly what I liked. The work Roger does is top notch and beautiful to say the least. I asked a few questions on the types of granite and stones offered, and was recommend the black one because it holds up well. Overall service was really good, professional, and upfront with pricing. My husbands grave marker was about $1300 out the door with the largest photo in color. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The location perhaps looks different, however don't let that fool you, the people are friendly, genuine, professional, and caring. I cannot say enough good things about this business. First of all I found them right here on Yelp and looked for them because the cemetery told us it would be one year to get a marker finished for my mother. I called them and got in to see them in a couple days, the marker was designed by Roger in just minutes on his computer and then he sent me the documents via email. It was very easy to sign things and electronically send a deposit to get it going and final payment as well. Along the road they were very responsive via email and even had to contact the cemetery half a dozen times to get a response from him but continued to do so. They are extremely professional and their work is beautiful.
