    Sweet Chicken

Stopped in for happy hour since it was recommended. Only in the bar area FYI Our server was so patient with our table. Really appreciated her, wish I got her name. Our table ordered a variety of items that seemed very tasty. Fish tacos were filled with fresh ingredients. Good size for 2 tacos. I had the sweet chicken which was their version of orange chicken on a bed of rice. It was just ok for me. Not a lot of taste but the presentation was very simple but elegant. It was a relaxing vibe especially after a long day.

We came here for happy hour the other week and I was pleasantly surprised. The prices were fair and the portions were large enough. The burger was my favorite thing we got and the prawns were good. However I would skip the California roll. The best part of this experience was the banana split they brought out for my mom's birthday and the card they all signed. The service and hospitality was definitely a stand out feature, and the reason I would come back!

Tonight was my first time at Oswego grill. Believe me won't be my last! service was impressive, from greeters to our server Hanna, everyone in our party of 4 had been b4, except me. We sat in bar to do happy hour. Started with beers and lettuce wraps. Very good start! They guys ordered cheese burgers with hand cut fries. I ordered salmon chowder, Caesar salad, mil ordered cheeseburger sliders and extra fries. We were all pleased with our choices. But the topper was the surprise ice cream Sunday and signed birthday card for my birthday. What a surprise! Good food, happy hour prices, great service surprise desert. Will definitely be back!

Quick bite while shopping! We sat at the bar and it was great service and quick food. Always a staple go to in Clackamas area!

Service was prompt, which was nice. The huckleberry hibiscus was way too sweet for me. Cosmo was delicious. Fries are so good here as well.

Have a nice gluten free selection. I usually get an Impossible burger with a gluten free bun and either mashed potatoes or asparagus as the fries are in a shared fryer. Happy hour is good but not much for gluten free food options but their cocktails are nice and their happy hour wine is usually pretty nice. Always have friendly service. Bar is nice for drinks after work. Recently I tried their happy hour Caesar salad and wedge salad. Both were very good. My friend got the chicken tortilla soup and said it was delicious and got a second round of it. My other friend loves the prickly pear Cadillac Margarita and the tropical fruit bowl.

Great dinner. Fantastic server. Wasn't very busy on a Weds night. We got Chicken Marsala & Steak Salad. Both were delicious. Server was very friendly & attentive. Our visit was slightly spoiled by the obnoxious children across from us, but that's not the restaurant's fault.

We had a great brunch experience. Our server was so fun! She joked around with us and made our experience great. The food was fantastic and the drink was yummy. We had a reservation so seating was quick and the tables were really comfy.

Side salad with some iceberg. Great taste. Croutons delicious.

Stuffed salmon dinner ordered during Sunday Brunch. So scrumptious. Good wait staff. No waiting. Kinda loud with kids today.

Always a delicious experience. This is my go to place when I have out of town guest or clients to take to lunch or dinner. The variety of the menu is fantastic and there's something for everyone. Service is always polite and on point. Desserts always look great but I'm always too stuffed.

I'd been wanting to check this place out for a while now so we finally made it. We just went on a Sunday afternoon and not too busy. We were able to park in their lot but it is on the smaller side so it makes sense that you may have to go to other mall parking if they were really busy. Our server was friendly and prompt. The place is large and nice, but it's kind of dark (mood lighting). We ordered from both the regular and seasonal menus. All of the food was really good. Fresh fruit, crispy chicken, and balanced cocktails. We got a couple desserts to go so they come deconstructed. No pictures so you have to use your best judgement assembling, but how wrong can you go putting dessert together? It may be wrong but still tasted good. This is more upscale so it's a place we'll keep in mind for special occasions.

first time at the oswego grill! went on a monday evening around 4:30 PM and was given about a 5-10 minute wait for a table. we were seated shortly after. i wasn't a big fan of how close other tables were, but i liked the ambience of the place as a whole. my boyfriend and i were hoping to try the happy hour menu, but were unaware that you had to sit in the bar to order from that. will have to come back to try that! i tried the stuffed salmon and thought it was very tasty! everything was a little on the saltier side, but wasn't too salty where i couldn't eat it. i really enjoyed the flavor of the sauce that came with the dish. i also tried the mango fruit drop, which was delicious! my boyfriend got the oswego burger. he said it was nice and juicy, and the toppings went well with the burger! the fries that came with it weren't bad. tasted like the were made in house, which is great, but just had a potato taste to them. overall pretty good, but we'd love to come back and try the happy hour and will know to ask for bar seating next time!!

There are only 2 things consistent with Oswego Grill, regardless of location. 1. Food is always good. 2. Service is always crap.

There were many large seating area available. One main cedar table was a big attraction. There is a fireplace with a table by it We got a table. I ordered a Borgona, fruit puree juices mix with Sprite. Never had one, but sounded really good. It came and it was delicious and fruity for a mocktail. We ordered a shrimp ceviche and octopus skewers to start out with. The Shrimp Ceviche was very delicious and it was something that I was very happy to share it with my friends. It was a big portion of shrimp cocktail with salsa on the bottom and these large sized blue chips. It was so good that we ate it quickly. Octopus skewers was a tad charred. Yet very delicious especially if you eat it with the pineapple together. Brings out the flavor of the pineapples quite well. We ordered the Pork Belly Tacos and Mole Shrimp Tacos which came in 3. I absolutely loved street tacos filled with good fresh ingredients. And both of these hot the spot. The pork belly was an absolute great flavor of the pork belly. The Shrimp was delicious. Cook perfectly and easy to devour quickly. DeFuego Nachos had Jalapenos. But wasn't listed. The nachos were delicious and it was quickly devoured. Wings came in 4 wings with garlic parmesan with carrots and celery and ranch on the platter. Heavily garlic on the wings yet very delicious. Half wedge salad was a surprise how much there is in the salad. A lot of fresh veggies there with cherry tomatoes and sliced radishes in it. I had a absolutely fun experience celebrating my birthday here. DeFuego had Happy Hour from 3pm to 6pm, seven days out of the week. Seems the Happy Hour here is very popular. You have 21 appetizers to choose from on the Happy Hour Menu. There are Mocktails, and any drinks you want available. Definitely will come back again.

Shoot. Last night I took my boyfriend here to celebrate a special event & we left so disappointed!…read moreWe got there at 7:15 & we were stuck there for over 2 hours! I ordered 2 things and both came out wrong. Our waitress spoke very loudly and we could hear her having long personal conversations with people a couple tables away from us for 10+ minutes at a time, several times. While we waited for her, we ran out of water a few times and I had to ask for more. It was over an hour before our order was even taken. We did flag her down to order an appetizer, brussel sprouts with cheese on the side due to a dairy allergy, but... the sprouts came out with cheese on them. They corrected this fairly promptly, but then we sat for another 45 minutes before our order was actually taken. I ordered a steak as "somewhere between medium & medium well" and she correctly repeated my order back to me "medium/medium well." When the steak came out, it was WELL well done. Like, burnt. I wanted to send it back, but I didn't want to deal with the embarrassment or have to wait even longer for food. We were about an hour & 45 minutes into dinner by the time we got our food. I was so disappointed! I also wanted to get dessert to celebrate the occasion but the service was SO slow that we had to cancel our after-dinner plans. We ordered it anyway & requested the check promptly, giving up on our plans for the rest of the evening. We were only a party of 2, we arrived early for our reservation, & we watched several larger parties come and go while we waited for our order to even be taken. It was a Wednesday night and not overly busy, there were several empty tables, so I'm not sure what the hold up was. We were also seated at an odd table next to the kitchen with a small divider between us and the staff. It was noisy and I even heard 2 staff members exchange a joke about how someone else had left & said they'd never come back. They laughed about it. I wish I had the guts those people had to get up & leave! I've never once left less than a 20% tip and felt immense guilt not tipping well, but after experiencing the poor service then also hearing the staff blatantly acknowledge it & not care.... I was appalled. The Hilton bought the hotel attached to De Fuego and I'm shocked. This was a Monarch hotel before and I'd assume that the Hilton's standards would be higher but the service and quality here have tanked hopelessly low since the acquisition. I had a similar experience at The Underground before it closed. I've learned my lesson & won't come here for a special occasion again.

Well, that's just not the case anymore. The Underground is in The Monarch hotel, which was independently-owned until some corporation bought it, and the new ownership systematically destroyed everything that made The Underground unbeatable. I intentionally held off on writing any updates to my review because I wanted to give (new) staff a chance to work the kinks out under the new ownership. Well, nothing improved, and everything got worse: * The AWESOME lobster bisque? GONE * The mushroom medley served with the steaks? GONE * Freshly-prepared appetizers? GONE **NOTE: Some of my favorites were still on the menu, but they're clearly made ahead-of-time with far inferior ingredients and reheated before service *The amazing Jacobsen finishing salt lovingly and PERFECTLY sprinkled on every steak before service? GONE *The AMAZING staff that LITERALLY were literally more like family than wait staff? GONE (well, probably 95% of them anyway, a literal couple originals were still on-staff during my last visit, but they clearly weren't happy, and appeared to be under a LOT of stress). *Steaks that defy their relatively low price point? GONE **The steaks are still on the menu, but the prices have skyrocketed (seriously, some by as much as $25 per on my last visit), and the quality is and preparations are far WORSE than previous. The previous steakhouse menu has been added to with other non-steak dishes, but they're even worse than the steaks now are. Their web site shows that they're "closed for renovations" for two months, but I doubt I'll be back. I doubt it will be even remotely close to what it was before when they're done with it (who knows, they may just put a chain restaurant franchise down there). DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!

" there's no reservation under that name". Then, after about 5 minutes of going back and forth, it WAS located. She walked us through the restaurant to our table, only to find another party of six seated there! Soooo we walked all the way back out to the front while they set up another table. ( Turns out the people that were there had been mistakenly marked as our party) *shrug* So we were finally seated. And, to our surprise they had "happy birthday" tokens all around. That was really nice! And, when the waitress took our orders, she DID acknowledge the birthday boy and his soon to coming dessert. Things were looking up! Alas, What a bummer our meal was though! I mean, we're not snobs and none of what has happened so far was enough to affect our rating too much. We've given a lot of grace to restaurants for a lot more in the past. However, the food . Meh My husband ordered the prime rib. He said this was the worst one he's ever had. Something about the salt cure, dry aging process didn't do it right. It was the fattest cut of flavorless meat he's had in a long time. "I could get a better cut at Safeway!" My filet mignon tips in wine sauce: again, there were so many pieces of chewy fat in the gravy I wasn't able to really enjoy the food. Also, sadly, they substituted green beans without telling us so we were doubly disappointed. Our daughter says the mac n cheese had one big slab of floppy, unappetizing bacon that overpowered the entire dish. As if that wasn't enough, and even though they delivered my son's birthday brownie sundae with a candle, they completely forgot that the rest of us ordered desserts at all! We had to remind our server that we were still waiting for our desserts when she came by to clear my son's dish. Sigh. It wasn't a very busy restaurant tonight, so I cant even make an excuse for them. Would we go to this restaurant again? No. Was it worth the high price? No The bright spots? My creme brulee, delish! Key lime pie: delish (but the crust was waay too thick) The lemonade? Tart, and delish. The seasonal drinks? Both types were really good. And finally, the bathroom was really dirty, as was the dining room floor itself. Many servers walked over a discarded napkin without bending to pick it up. I just dont know where the quality of work and pride in a restaurant have gone, but I miss it.
