I'll start by saying this, we eat a lot of Thai food. My husband grew up working in a Thai restaurant. We came in optimistic but left slightly disappointed. To start with the positive aspects, this place was clean and the spring rolls and Tom Yum were ok. The disappointing part for us was the beef salad. Was more like a stir fried beef on top of iceberg lettuce. Wasn't what we imagine when we eat beef salad. We enjoy more fresh and light with an authentic sauce. Overall, wouldn't recommend this place if you eat a lot of fresh Thai food, you may leave slightly disappointed!

This place is my fave Thai in nashville ! It's sooo good. The green curry and red curry chicken are my favorite. I go here at least once a week. The staff and owners are great! The place has good vibes and is super clean. All the dishes are great! The tom Kha ka soup is so yummy too!

I got the red curry noodle soup with fried tofu. The dish was very balanced, not too spicy, but still flavorful. They let me sub the lettuce for mushroom, which I appreciated. The soup was quite thick, exactly like Thai red curry entrees that are coconut milk based, rather than normal water based soups. The portion was generous, definitely enough for two meals. My friend got the Mongolian noodles and spicy edamame appetizer, which were both great options. The edamame had just the right amount of spice to give a kick but not overwhelm. The Malaysian noodles were a good mix of a little spice and sweet. Whatever the sauce is in there is really good. Chicken with the noodles and Chinese sausage went well. It took a little bit of time for our dishes to come out, but we were a party of 6, so perhaps the kitchen was backed up. Our waiter was very nice though, and gave us good recommendations about the popular dishes. He even offered us extra rice at no charge to accompany our curry to-go.

Ordered the red curry with chicken & a Thai iced tea - sooooo good! Moving from Cali, I've been trying to find a good Thai spot & Esane hit the mark! Loved the creaminess & all the veggie fix-in's to not make it feel so heavy

It's a beautiful establishment across the street from our office. And the services is A++. So you probably guessed it, I am not super happy with the food. The pad Thai had very little color, which means there is a shortage of tomato/tamarind flavoring, and the papaya salad was SPICYYYY!! Papaya salad, in my humble Chinese opinion, should be fish saucy, sweet, crunchy, refreshing, with a tiny bit of spice. The crab Rangoon is good. Portion is generous. Just lack flavors.

Was really looking forward to trying Thai Esane, as their online menu looked so appealing! On a Thursday evening, the restaurant was empty but us, a tad unsettling given the space is quite large, and the employees were either watching the door or glancing over at us while we ate lol. Salmon curry- the curry itself was pretty tasty! Salmon had a nice crisp outer texture but tasted a bit unseasoned, along with the veggies that were undercooked. Comes with rice and the option to have chili oil in the side. Crying Tiger- beef was nice and smoky in texture, comes freshly cooked on a skillet. Comes with rice. Bangkok Wings- gives a hint of Korean fried chicken flavors, sweet and savory with a spicy kick. Overall a solid place!

Located near the gulch/midtown area of Nashville, Thai Esane offers a unique twist on traditional brunch with a family style approach that blends made to order food with all you can eat ($24.99). The ambiance is warm and inviting, nicely decorated. The pho & sukiyaki was delicious. The lettuce wraps were amazing and we loved sharing the experience with family. Definitely the place to be for brunch & the menu always changes which is what will entice us in every Sunday.

We were a large group of friends that wanted to try different cuisine and what better place than the assembly hall!! We had seen some good reviews for this place and found ourselves lucky to try this on our first day in Nashville. We ordered a few different dishes here with different spice levels and meat options and every single person thoroughly enjoyed their food. All their servings were great and enough for one person, in fact their red curry could easily feed two ppl if you got an extra bowl of rice with it. Their food is rich in flavor and some of their dishes can be considered a healthy option as well. The place is clean, their service is quick, the staff is nice and give you a good idea of what you are ordering. It's definitely a spot to come back to if you're looking for an Asian taste!

I noticed the average rating isn't great, but I had an awesome experience. It's a no frills ambiance, but it's a large dining room (free parking in the building) and I had a great time. The food is the main focus for this review. The pad Thai was so tasty and was a large serving. It was on special for $10 so I had to get it. We ordered the spring rolls and crab Rangoon to start us off. I enjoyed crab Rangoon, and I loved the peanut sauce for the spring rolls. I got a Thai tea to go and omg, these are just so dang good. It was sweeter than ones I've had before, so I'd recommend splitting it with someone or saving some if you don't want a sugar overload. Easy service, wasn't busy so was tended to quickly. I'll definitely be back, I love Thai food.

My honest opinion... No real flavor. Just your a typical Chinese take out mix of soy sauce. Sad part was I had asked the young lady if she had to choose between drunken noodles or the coconut curry rice dish...she said drunken noodles. Price wise: id say it was a decent portion for $12.

My husband and I grabbed a bite for dinner here. We liked that they had tons of options in the food hall to choose from. We decided to both get Thai food. We ordered spring rolls to split. The rolls were good and the sauce was delicious. It was peanut based. I ordered the shrimp red curry and my husband got the drunken noodles. I forgot to order my meal Thai spicy so my husband went and got them to give me some additional spices to add. Once I did that my meal was tasty. Overall a decent Thai meal.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Nashville! I have been coming here for the last three years with my friends and we all love it so much. The food is always delicious and the staff are so nice! Today we got the pad se ew, crab rangoons (these are literally the best ones I've ever had), Thai tea, and fresh rolls. Also be sure to check out their happy hours for half off appetizers and some drinks on weekdays from 3-6!

The Thai fried egg was a nice touch, but I wish it was jammy instead of well done. They have multiple spice levels and I got the hottest, Ass Fire (that's literally the name). The flavors were great, and it had small pockets of spice here and there, but over all, it's a spice level made for the typical alabaster disaster. They have pad Thai, various curries, tofu, dumplings, the typical Thai offerings in the US. Prices range from 8ish dollars to 23ish dollars depending upon the type of dish. Also worth noting, this location is in a food hall type building where you pick your food up from a locker.

Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. It easily feeds me for 2 or even 3 meals They have an outdoor patio in the summer. Not a great view of the road, but it's a nice patio. The inside is cute and Thai-themed.

Parking is free (must be validated inside the store) once you're seated. When it comes to the food, overall it was pretty good and reasonably priced. Lots to pick from, including Pho in a Thai restaurant. However, not sure if it was missed by our server, but the spice level (we got everything on a level 4 out of 5) was nowhere to be found/noticed. Pretty sure it was not spicy at all, we all added the chili oil which helped tremendously. On the other hand, protein was minimal. The portion was underwhelming and especially the chicken in the curry and shrimp in the fried rice. Lastly, the Thai iced tea felt more "sweet/sugary" rather than being actual tea. They should change the name of this one. Unfortunately, they didn't have the ingredients for a papaya salad, so we went with a cabbage salad. The picture of the cabbage salad on the menu had purple cabbage, the actual dish did not. Large restaurant and good service. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. We didn't explore the grocery that much but it seemed like it had a nice balance of dry food goods, refrigerated items, and small objects, mostly either for cooking or the occasional gift. It was clean inside and being a grocery store had a good bit of parking outside. The restaurant is on the far right as you enter. We were greeted warmly and told to seat ourselves. Menus were delivered promptly. I ordered a Thai tea to drink. Hubs got the fried shrimp appetizer and we both chose noodles for lunch; he opted for pad see ew and I got drunken noodles. The restaurant was fairly busy but despite the crowdedness it still felt easy to have conversation with each other. Our food came out quickly but had clearly been cooked fresh. The Thai tea was the one thing that didn't hit at all. It had a very intense flavor that I couldn't quite place compared to all the other Thai teas I've had. Could just be this one is more traditional, lol. But it wasn't quite as sweet as I'm used to and it almost had a subtly salty vibe; I wouldn't get it again. That said, the cooked food items were quite good. The breading on the shrimp was incredibly crispy and even I liked them well enough at first; the flavor was light and the texture not rubbery. We did ultimately realize these shrimp had not been deveined, which is not our preference but I understand it's not a requirement to be able to eat them. The noodle dishes really shone, though. Hubs liked his pad see ew and we both thought my drunken noodles were even better. Lots of tender but still-crisp veggies in both. Strong and pleasantly aromatic basil flavor in mine. Large portion sizes. The noodles were cooked well and were pleasantly chewy. Mine was lightly spicy but nothing intense; I wound up adding more chili oil from the small container on the table. Service was a highlight throughout; the women working were very personable, got us to-go boxes, and were attentive to any other needs we had. Lots of menu choices here and fresh food prepared quickly. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
