The garlic bread was nicely crispy and well prepared without being overwhelmingly garlicky. The meatballs were a standout if you could say that; moist, well seasoned, and paired with a pleasant sauce, but were definitely from frozen and I think the dish could benefit from a touch more cream for added richness of the sauce. The complimentary breadsticks and oil dip were acceptable, but the overall flavor profile felt underdeveloped. The oil would benefit from fresh garlic, a finishing sprinkle of sea salt, cracked black pepper or red pepper flakes, and perhaps some fresh herbs to create a more memorable accompaniment. The breadsticks themselves appeared to be frozen rather than house made. Unfortunately, the lobster ravioli was disappointing. The pasta was quite thick and did not have the texture or flavor of fresh made ravioli. The broccoli served alongside it appeared to be frozen and felt unnecessary on the plate. Fresh basil would have been a much better complement to the dish. Additionally, the sauce on the ravioli seemed different from the sauce served with the meatballs; although listed as the same on menu. The meat sauce in the spaghetti dish also missed the mark for me with an overly heavy presence of oregano and basil that overwhelmed the dish. When asking about dessert options, I learned they are outsourced rather than made in house or sourced from a local bakery. While there's nothing inherently wrong with that, it was noticeable and may disappoint you if you were looking for a more scratch made. Overall, the service was good, decor was nice and the meatballs and garlic bread were enjoyable, but the restaurant's reliance on apparent frozen and outsourced components, along with inconsistent sauces and underdeveloped flavor profiles, left me wanting more from what could otherwise be a solid Italian dining experience.
