He did some computer testing and said everything seemed fine and there is always that amount of residual water at the bottom. I asked why the first tech didn't just tell me that and was told " no one had probably ever asked that question before". Unfortunately I'd already paid them. I feel like they were dishonest with me. We even told him it is fine to go ahead and repair the dishwasher. This company made NO DISCLOSURE beforehand that someone over 18 needed to be present. This is TERRIBLE service. Waiting months for down appliances to be repaired and then to leave over something like this. As if a few months age makes ANY difference. If going to make requirements like this they MUST be disclosed beforehand.

So I waited again for a call...nothing!!! Finally at 12 weeks I had enough waiting! We went to pick it up, done or not 12 weeks for simple service is too long. Owner tells us he called and left message in June. Ahh no ya didn't. Phone number on paper work is correct, I went though my cell phone longs, never got call or message. To say I'm VERY disappointed is an understatement. Its a beautiful nice store, but it lacks communication in the service department and the employees need to learn to answer the phones with out being rude! By the time he got done with his diagnosis, everyone agreed it would cost us less to buy a new unit than it would be to dump the money in to fix the old one. That is what we did. And we thank Christian for showing us options. I am not sure who trained this guy, but he is the real deal. Naturally, we hope we don't have to see you too often. But when we do, it is Christian we will be asking for.

Date of service: March 21, 2025…read more Really appreciated that I could schedule an appointment online with Mr Appliance through their website as I tend to be crazy busy during working hours and loathe leaving voicemails for companies and playing phone tag. Jalen with Mr Appliance also came when they said they would come and resolved the issue quickly and easily. The issue was a grinding noise that our less than three year old dryer was making. an obvious sign that something was not right. Jalen suspected a potential blower motor issue and got to work on resolving it. 25 minutes later the problem was fixed: Excess lint buildup that got through the lint trip and into the machine, causing the motor to have to work harder than it needed to. He showed me all of the lint he pulled out, but he piled it up on the runner below the dryer and on the top of our glass-topped washing machine, requiring me to clean off the washer and wash the runner. In addition, it was $243 for less than a half hour of his time. If the service call is $129, that would make the hourly rate $200 for Mr Appliance--I am clearly in the wrong line of work! Unfortunately I can't really give more than three stars given the cost and cleanup from the appointment.

They were not Wolf-certified but claimed to be familiar with Wolf products. Suffice it to say, I was charged for an incorrect diagnosis, an unnecessary part, and labor that did not resolve the problem. With Wolf ovens, costs are high, so this was a frustrating and expensive lesson. After a series of cancellations and a runaround about their availability, I decided not to invite them back. That's when I turned to Akrit. I emailed them on a Sunday and received a call Monday morning. The technician was at my house within an hour and a half. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the correct part on hand, and replaced it on the spot -- all while walking me through my oven and range and educating me on things I hadn't known before. He was knowledgeable, informative, kind, patient, and a consummate professional. This company clearly holds itself to a high standard. My technician's name was Alfonso, and if I ever need work done on my oven or range again, Akrit Appliance Service will be my first and only call.
