... I don't know everyone, I think this OTTO location is getting better. We've been ordering *a lot* of pizza this winter and, y'know what? It's been good. The pizza could be baked a little longer (looking at other reviews, it seems this OTTO either swings towards underbaked/floppy or totally burned/stiff and can't find a middle ground); maybe that's something I could ask for in my online order? For it to just be a littttttle crispier? It's being delivered on time, it's arriving hot, it's accurate (we're just looking for a vegan cheese pie with big scoops of sauce dotted all over it), the transaction with the driver has always been SUPER friendly. We like to leave notes on our order, and it's fun to hear the kitchen is reading them and getting a laugh. Just note if you're doing the Build Your Own option: when you order it says "Your pizza currently comes with red sauce served the OTTO way" but then if you scroll down and select "Add Red Sauce the OTTO way (Sauce on Top Of The Cheese)" it's $1 more. Why does this cost *anything* when, if you were just to order a Cheese Pizza, there is no upcharge for this? read more

Pizza was fair. Huge swaths of crust will nothing on it. Spinach tasted old. Service was worse. My question --- were they all stoned ? No one in there when we got there to order but she still messed it up even with my clear instructions ( my mates confirmed I said what I thought). My friends sat in booth while their slices sat in a pile ( without heat) for at least 10 minutes. I was outside tending to dog and had explained the full pies would be take out while their slices would be inside. They were unapologetic, unprofessional. They must hate their job? Sorry kids. Most of the Ottos locations that I have been to have been very good where the pizza is fresh, and delectable and has many different options for different types of eaters. I have had everything from mashed potato, to pulled pork to the traditional cheese and pepperoni. This location has a couple of things going for them, the location is off the main road and there is ample parking to pick up the pie you are looking for. The only reason I would not give 5 stars and only 3 is because of our most recent experience where the person that was taking our order was very short and seemed almost like she was annoyed to have us asking her questions as my wife has dietary restrictions that she has to ask. Then when we received the pizza, it was very burnt on the crust ... I normally dont mind it but it almost made the pie bitter. I am not one to raise a stink about it because there was a line of people grabbing their weekend fix and they seemed very overwhelmed. It is a small location but the decor is fun. They do have bathrooms and we may be back to give it another try and hopefully the next time will be better and more inviting like some of the other Ottos we have been to. If you are going to charge high prices for the za you are getting, then the service needs to match that price as well! read more

Wow. What a low class establishment. I walked in to pick up my order which wasn't ready at the time stated in their empty restaurant. No problem. While I was waiting, a young kid came in to ask for a job, the old female working there sent him to the website and then proceeded to rip him apart with her staff after he left. Then they turned around to say I (Benjamin) was there to pickup and proceeded to mock the notes on my pizza order, asking for a crispy pizza not burnt. I only ask this because in NYC I have 7 pizzerias, and crispy, well done, etc. means different things to different people cooking. Occasionally a crispy note will get you a well done pizza. I don't know how careless or just ill mannered you have to be to mock someone 6 feet away from you when you know that they're there, but the fact that this happened was insane. And the fact that it seemed to be the senior most and oldest man and women managing the venue leading this assail of low-class, bad character was wild. I don't care if this pizza is the best I've ever had, they should be ashamed to identify as a hospitality establishment, since there is clearly no hospitality to be found here. Shameful display. We ordered 2 pizzas that came to $50. Pizza was burnt on top and bottom. Crust had massive air bubbles that some of the pieces weren't edible. Cheese tasted like rubber. So bad that we threw two large pizzas away. We used to love Otto's. Great pizza...inclusive to many diets, tasty beer and excellent service. We usually have a hard time accommodating my husband with his dairy and wheat allergy but at Ottos he was in major luck. They offer gluten free crust and vegan cheese. Their pizzas are cooked in nice large oven and are thin and crispy. They have a plethora of creative pizzas you can't find anywhere else like mashed potato pizza (I'm not that brave). We stuck to the basics and we were super happy. My husband got a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and pepperonis. He said it was the best crust he's had. My father in law got the Margherita pizza which was delicious. Lastly myself and my Husbands Aunt shared the Fresh Mushroom, Bacon and Vidalia Onion Pizza. It was very tasty but I do like more sauce and cheese on my pizza personally. Their pizzas are really big to be honest so we had plenty of leftover. We also ordered a nice big salad and it was enough for the entire table. To go with our meals a few of us also enjoy some beer. They have a great selection of craft beers. Our food was fast and service was friendly. Overall 5/5 stars and we can't wait to visit again in the future. We visit Brunswick most often and a little birdie told us they will be opening a location there. read more

I don't usually post poor reviews about a business, but the pizza we got over the weekend was inexcusable. We asked for extra sauce on our sausage pizza and it was so dry and fairly flavorless. I wish I could give less than one star. Disgusting. We have ordered from this particular Otto's in the past and noticed a huge decline in quality and service over the last few years. Tonight we ordered at 5:35 with an estimated delivery at 6:45. At 7:02, we received a call informing us that the salad we ordered was out of stock - no big deal, but our food was slated for delivery at 6:45. Food arrived not warm but ICE COLD. We ordered meatballs - supposed to be six meatballs, we received four (four rock hard balls - no clue how they could be classified as meatballs). The substitute salad did not contain the chicken we paid an extra $2.50 for, nor did it contain Greek dressing. Pizza and breadsticks were ICE COLD, as was the marinara dipping sauce for the breadsticks. We have had issues with this location in the past, but hoped that maybe post-Covid quality and service had improved. Nope, save your money. You'd be better off with frozen 99-cent pizza from 7-11. Stopped here for HH but apparently they don't offer it anymore. Ordered from what was supposed to be specially priced slices. We got pepperoni which was pooled in grease and burnt crust and the mashed potato bacon scallion, that was only half covered in toppings. Worst part they never heated the slices, just pulled them off the rack. We ordered 2 tiramisu to go and they were okay. The bartender was friendly enough. I've seen the OTTOs around town, but I've never had a chance to try it... until now. I like how this OTTO's is a large venue where you don't feel rushed. Its got plenty of seats/tables for you to actually have a sit down meal. The lady who took our order was incredibly nice. My partner is highly allergic to dairy, & I loved that she made sure the staff put no cheese! I had the Margherita Pizza. My only complaint was the amount of basil:tomato ratio was not what I wanted! They put a ton of tomatoes, and not enough basil. Since I had a ton of tomato sauce as my base, and a ton of tomatoes for my topping, that's all I tasted! Both times the staff have been attentive and the service was top notch. The woman at the bar (unique name which I can't remember) was fun and sold me on a beer Wave and the Spicy Bean and cornbread slice. A match made in heaven. Recently I went and it was crowded. I when I walked in I did state we might regret this decision. I was wrong. The server Lacy, new but was so attentive and obviously trained. The food was timely and not over cooked. Ate the whole pie. I did talk to the supervisor that night and shared my experience and the back story which she remembered. Since I did not identify myself nor used the gift card, this is a solid review. First time at Otto's last night to celebrate my birthday, and the three of us had a magnificent experience. The service was warm and prompt, the choices of pizzas quite unique and very tasty, and our waitstaff, Kam, was most attentive and kind. He turned down the music when we requested it, and was knowledgeable about the food and alcohol service -- we began with delicious Prosecco. When he found out it was a birthday celebration, he brought each of us one of their delicious, chewy, chocolate chip cookies! Yum!
