Just a few minutes ago, I had the worst, and I mean the worst cleaning experience with Oui Clean. we have a 5 bedroom 5.5 bath house that needed to be cleaned and they quoted us $491 (yes, you read that right) for the cleaning including a $100.00 deposit. Despite the high cost, we paid it as we read great reviews. Before they arrived, we commmunicated the following with them in advance: 1. Due to allergies, we will provide all cleaning supplies so they do not have to bring supplies or equipment with them (a cost savings to them) 2. We will provide shoe covers and cleaning instructions in Spanish and English to be helpful as language may be a barrier to communication 3. We ask all cleaners to wash their hands upon arrival When they arrived, there were three women and they brought cleaning supplies, toilet brushes and cleaning equipment with them. They attempted to enter the house multiple times with these items even though I asked them not to several times. Finally, they left the items outside of our front door, entered, put the shoe covers on and very reluctantly washed their hands. Upon entry, I pulled out the cleaning supplies and asked them if there were any additional items they would like me to order. We communicated what was needed and I put in an order to Target for additional items. One of the ladies' car was blocking our garage and driveway, so I asked her to move the car and she left to do so. I gave the remaining ladies a print out of the cleaning instructions in Spanish (the top of the document was clearly labeled 'Instrucciones de Limpiando') to help with any language barrier as each of the cleaners appeared to speak speak limited English. They reviewed the document and seemed appreciative. I then walked them around the house to show them what needed to be cleaned. By then, it had been 5-10 minute and the 3rd cleaning person had not returned. My husband then texts me saying the cleaner moved her car to the top of the driveway and is blocking the driveway and our trash cans (today is trash pick up day). She'd been sitting in the car, talking on the phone for the past 5 minutes or so. He asked her to please move her car multiple times and she ignored him and waved her off. Finally he told her to move the car right away and she moved it but it was still blocking the trash cans. What the hell? Meanwhile, back at the ranch, one of the women's phone rang (it was presumably the woman in the car blocking our trash cans). After she got off the phone, she tells me something like 'we are going to get the cleaning items and bring them to the car', I said ok. Next thing I knew, they left the house got in the car and drove off. We then get a text saying they left because we gave them a 'contract - like document' and they didn't like how we spoke to them. This is seriously fucked up and unbelievable. You are a cleaning company, and you have an attitude about cleaning your hands when you enter? You are angry because we told you that we'd like you to use our supplies (SAVING YOU MONEY)?? You are angry that we were aware English may or may not be your first language and we gave you instructions in Spanish (just in case) so we can mitigate communication issues? And then you lied and said we gave you a contract to sign instead? You showed up to a client's home as a professional business and blocked their driveway, and when asked to move you got upset and drove off of the job without notice? Pleas stay the hell away from this unscrupulous company. And Oui Cleaning, I fully expect you to give me my deposit back IN FULL. UPDATE - 5/18/23 Additional feedback as the owner responded but does not allow comments on her feedback. Camille, you addressed none of the issues that I noted and the cleaning instructions were basic asks that mirror the services listed on your site (mop, clean, dust wipe down). It was offered as a courtesy to your staff because English was clearly not their first language. You were communicated with well in advance as to our expectations. Upon further review of your company, it appears you have several 1 one star reviews, so I will take ownership on not doing my full research to note several of your past customers have issues with the grossly unprofessional manner in which you and your staff conduct business. I am flummoxed that you are still referring to the cleaning instructions as a contract but your company is dishonest so this shouldn't be a surprise. Thanks for processing my refund today. Do not use. Especially if you are short on time and need a cleaning for something specific. They sent the quote and told me they had availability on Friday. Then after I paid a deposit they told me they would have availability Saturday at 11am. I moved my schedule around to accommodate. At 11:02am they text me "the team will be arriving at 11:30-12 pm today. The team is understaffed because one of them is sick thus making them behind with the schedule. I hope you understand and we are sorry for the inconvenience." I understand and responded thanking them for letting me know. At 12:21pm I followed up and asked what the status was. 13 mins later I got "I apologize. We are still in contact with our team and let you know about this. Thank you." Not exactly helpful or informative, but I had already cancelled some plans so I had time and needed the cleaning today due to my busy schedule. At 12:59pm I get a call telling me that they have to cancel because their cleaners got in an accident. (Obviously not blaming the cleaners for this). She proceeds to tell me that I was the only job booked today (hmm, I had been texted that they were behind schedule, yet I'm the only one) and tells me that they had no one else available as a lot of people are on vacation (sounds like bad management if you let all of your employees go on vacation at the same time) and tells me that they had not been able to reach the team earlier but they were likely stuck in traffic (so, a lie to say behind schedule/someone was sick?! And this is a city, add time in to scheduling for traffic). On another note, I asked for a quote on a 1bed/1bath in July 2021 and was told $100/month but the first cleaning was $140. When I asked for a quote this time I was told $156/ month for the same space. A large increase for a 15 month span, but based on reviews and being women owned, I was willing to try them anyways. I now need to scramble to find someone as their availability does not mesh with mine and they were unwilling to be accommodating in any way. This is the first time I used this service. I needed to reach out to someone who was in the area and they're yelp page and reviews seemed pretty good so I gave them a chance. I wasn't home when they were cleaning the place but my wife was and her impression of them was that the crew was nice and professional. What more could you want? So that was a good thing. They finished in a reasonable amount of time which I'm always thankful for. When they were done, they made sure to add a few extra finishing touches like adding little bows on top of the toilet paper in the bathroom. That was a unique touch that really set them aside. Great job! Now for the cons. I would give them 4.5 stars if I could because these aren't really cons, just small details from what I noticed. When I first walked in, I could tell right off that they really scrubbed this place down. There was a strong chemical smell throughout the house like they REALLY went in. No big deal, because the cleanliness of the place supported the smell in a good way. Just a heads up, if you have small children or pets that you're concerned with getting into any lingering chemicals, I'd pay the extra money to have them use eco friendly products. But with that said, going into the point of them REALLY going in, I mean they REALLY went in. I pay a lot of attention to small details and I noticed over the next few hours a few things around the house were not how I left them. For example, I have an ambient light switch in the living room that's always set to one color that I choose (I'm the only one in the house that uses it). When I went to turn it on that night, it was a different color. This tells me that they crew likely made sure the dust or wipe down the remote. Great! But then I noticed a few other things like a small section of the paint peeling by my front door which I won't ding them for because that section already stood out to me before but this was the first time it had started to peel. This tells me that they maybe dusted or vacuumed in that corer and maybe nocked it lose? Other things like my dog camera not working and it turns out they switched the light switched that it was plugged into to off. There were small details like this that I noticed over the course of the next few hours to days after the fact, Again, this isn't a ding against them necessarily, more so a "great work, just be a little bit more gentle and mindful next time please". Other than that, I wouldn't use this as a reason not to hire them again because the overall job they did far outweighs these small minor details. read more

My husband and I had a great experience using Oui Clean DMV for a move out clean. Their team was super responsive (the original service we booked cancelled last minute) and we were able to book the service about 24 hours out. We had lived in the apartment for 2+ years and included window cleaning, oven cleaning, and fridge cleaning in our service in addition to a full cleaning of the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. The end result was spectacular and helped us get our full security deposit back. I'll add the cleaners wound up finding some items in a drawer we forgot to pack and Oui Clean reached out and asked if we wanted to keep them or get rid of them (we kept them). I got a deep cleaning for a 2,600'sh sq ft 3-story townhome. Two women showed up at 2:50p, my appointment was at 2p with a one hour window. They started on the 3rd floor and did great with the bathrooms. I had an interior window add on. They missed the windows on the 3rd and 1st floor. I was very happy with the clean floors on the 3rd and 2nd floor. When they got to the first, I saw they missed vacuuming and/or wiping down anything. I figured they had a long day and wanted to go home. For the price I paid of $250 I still had to finish cleaning the windows and wiping down the tv. I will try a different place next time. read more

Changed Sheets, made the bed, clean 4 bathrooms. windows inside, refrigerator and oven outside, microwave inside and outside, floors mopped and carpets/rugs vacuumed. Last week, my roommate made the decision to use this cleaning service, and the cleaners arrived last Friday to deep clean the kitchen. After cleaning, we discovered several areas that had not been cleaned completely, including a dead cockroach on a cabinet hinge and cockroach pesticide powder left in the oven. On Friday evening, we got in touch with the business right away. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed that perhaps they were merely being careless. We remained happy even if they fixed the issue. The service provider responded today, on Monday, and offered two possibilities: 1. Returned to clean it again or 2. gave a 15% refund. We informed them that we needed them to come back and fix the problem. Later, they changed their minds and claimed they could no longer supply option 1 (re-clean) because it had been three days. By their terribly irresponsible customer service, I am deeply disappointed. We chose them to clean for us solely because we wanted to avoid problems. However, based on their poor attitude and response, I'd say the problems are now worse than they were at first. Sheena was very responsive and was able to get me a quote right away via email and then get me locked in for a deep cleaning. I was sold! I will not be using this company again. They showed up 30 minutes late. Told me there would be a team of 3 but only a mother and her teenage daughter came. Team lead did not speak English. Daughter told me they would not be doing the deep clean which is what I ordered. Team leader was frustrated as was I. After all of this they did not do a very good job. I could visibly see dirt along the floor boards which I could gather in piles with my hand. Luckily I had Clorox wipes in my car that I could use to clean the visible dirt. First, and most importantly, the cleaners did a good job and I'm pleased with the job, but I won't be hiring them again in the future because their office seems to have serious shortcomings with their scheduling system. They rescheduled on me twice, both times less than an hour before their scheduled arrival. Then an hour *after* they were scheduled to arrive for the second reschedule, they contacted me asking to reschedule again. I told them it had to be done that day (I will be leaving the state), and thankfully they agreed to make it happen. Even still, the cleaners were 2 hours late to the third rescheduled time. Once they arrived, the cleaners were fine, and communication was no problem. I got a call from the agency saying they're recommending a deep clean for $50 extra, but I declined. It's true that it seems like the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but I can't complain about this since I turned down the additional charge. Only other complaint I can think of is that they seem to have thrown out my hand soap and the trimmer attachment to my electric razor (which I'm not sure is replaceable so I may need to purchase a new one). If you're considering using them, I think you should be fine to go with them as long as you don't have a specific time frame in which you want the job done. read more

Good customer service during booking. I booked months in advance for a move-out clean and carpet cleaning. And explained that I needed the services completed by a specified time. They called the day before to inform me that the company they use for carpet cleaning was unavailable in the morning but could come later. However, the new time would not work with my timeline. One lady arrived to clean the house, which was totally fine because we were in a 2 BD/1.5 BA townhome. She was scheduled to do a move-out clean (minus the refrigerator and oven). After she left we found areas where she hadn't adequately cleaned (i.e. fireplace mantle, hallway closet, and the floors were sticking as well. My landlord complained about the shotty job. After the service was complete. I received two invoices that included the carpet cleaning. And I had to send emails and call (x2) to get it corrected. Would not recommend to others. read more

When I first contacted Oui Clean through Yelp, communication with them was prompt and easy. I booked a basic cleaning for 3 areas (kitchen, bathroom, and living room) that I needed to be clean for professional real estate photos. Oui Clean DMV gave me an appointment arrival window of 10am-12pm, with the cleaning to be completed by 1:30pm, as the photographer was scheduled to arrive that afternoon. The day of my appointment, no one showed up or called during the arrival window. When I called to inform Oui Clean of this, the receptionist said that she'd try to figure out what happened and would have two cleaners out to my house as soon as possible. Only one cleaning person showed up, and at 1:00pm no less! She had to rush through cleaning the 3 areas in an hour for what Oui Clean previously told me should've been a 3-hour job. After the appointment, Oui Clean contacted me to offer a partial refund for the inconvenience, but asked that I send photos of the areas that were not properly cleaned. I sent in the photos as requested, but was told that they don't include things like baseboard cleanings with their standard cleanings, even though their website clearly states that baseboards and such would be cleaned! I informed them of this by sending a screenshot of that text on their site, but I never heard back from them or received a partial refund. I won't be using them again for any reason. read more

GARBAGE!!! If I could leave a zero star review I would. Scheduled move-in cleaning for Thurs; paid deposit only to receive a text that they have to reschedule to Wednesday. No big deal, so I confirm 1pm Wednesday; cleaner doesn't show ok till after 2:30.I left to run errands and was received a text at 5:41pm stating cleaner was almost done. When I returned to my home shortly before 6pm, she was still mopping; she left about 10 min after I returned. I asked her how much would I be charged for monthly service. Her response was, "with me or the company." I asked how much would she charge, to which she stated $160. We exchanged numbers and she left. Immediately after she left, I combed the area to find kitchen cabinets & drawers had not been touched; one cabinet had leaves in it. The baseboards, doors had not been wiped and the fixtures had water stains. The stairs covered on pet hair and dust. I sent the manager photos and videos only to be told that the same cleaner will be sent out.., no thanks! After going back and forth, the manager offered to reimburse me 30%. Service 7/27/21 when the cleaners showed to do a deep clean they wanted an extra $40 or they would walk out. I was desperate because I had guest coming that weekend. When they left I took a closer look at the items I provided them for the estimate. They added extra charges for cleaning window (inside) sills & frames and additional cost for cleaning the Fridge interior. During my walk thru I found these items either not done, partially done or sloppily done. Baseboards were not cleaned. Fridge interior partially cleaned and it was sloppy. OUI would not answer if the freezer was considered part of fridge. Burners on stove poorly cleaned. Exteriors of oven, fridge and dishwasher not cleaned. Vent on microwave not cleaned interior poorly cleaned, Kitchen cabinet fronts not cleaned. Electrical outlet covers not cleaned, Vents not cleaned, Dusting furniture, lampshades poorly or not done. The bathroom was a bit better, but still it was sloppy. All of the baseboards were not cleaned. They pulled my horizontal wood blinds half up and now I cannot get the shades down (I am investigating to see if they broke them) and the blinds were not cleaned. On the floor, there were places that they didn't even touch. Let's not forget to mention the cobwebs are still here. There are more things but this is the bulk of it. 7/28 I provided Sheena just a sampling of pictures and list of items that needed to be addressed. Sheena would not admit to the magnitude of cleaning that was either not done, partially done and just plain sloppy. I invited Sheena to come over and do a walk thru. I asked if they would send someone to come over and fix what was wrong or a partial credit. Sheena just came back to say sorry, we will give you a credit of $30. There so much more to this saga, but I think you get the picture. Basically, Sheena lied to cover her ass. I am posting this so that the next victim who is thinking of using them will think twice. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR ANY AFFILIATION OF OUI CLEAN DMV!!! Where to begin, they are liars, they try to extort money from you, they did not do a good job as you can see for yourself. I originally requested a move out cleaning with them, because they had a high rating online. Now let me list MY negatives to start with: I did not get my vacate checklist until the day before they were supposed to clean (so I left that and the pre move inspection form on the counter photos below); my granddaughters (aged 3 & 1) went crazy with some foam and left ripped up pieces all over the dining/living room floor (I didn't have a vacuum to clean it up); I left 3 empty boxes, a shower ring and a towel on the floor to be thrown away. I apologized for my mess ahead of them going in to clean. To start off the never read the move out check list, said that they do not read papers as it might invade privacy. Please it is an empty apartment that you are performing a move out cleaning on, no one lives there anymore and the papers clearly talk about moving out and what needs to be done. And upon hiring the service you are only allowed to declare the bedrooms and the bathrooms, I had a loft, which was neither (it was a children's toy room only), i was charged an additional $50 for in which they did not do a good job vacuuming refer to pictures of dirt in corners, they did not wipe down the bannisters overlooking the apartment from the loft at all, and they left stickers (pulled them off by hand) on the wall. Then I do not know what they used on the stove, but it was left sticky and disgusting as you can see from the Lysol wipes. They did not wipe any part of the fireplace down at all as the photo of the mantle shows. One of the windows in the pictures had a window ac unit in it for a very short time and the adhesive tape was left behind and that is the black stuff on it. They did not even attempt to wipe that off or wipe the dust off the window sills or blinds in any of the other windows. Pictures speak for themselves and I have more, but the fact is that I wasted my money on these people, as you can see they lied and said that they would do a re-clean and never did. They said that they do not clean walls, I did not ask them to clean all the walls I'm just confused how they do not clean marks/stickers off walls if they see them on a move out cleaning, that was not an option to select when requesting the cleaning, so I thought it was automatically included, it was when I lived in another state. They then tried to extort $100.00 to clean the walls. I repeat I was not requesting them to clean and wash every wall, I only wanted simple marks wiped away and stickers removed. Also, they did not do a satisfactory job on the vacuuming in the first place and while on the phone several times they tried to get me to purchase their carpet cleaning service too. You didn't do a good job in the first place, I had to go behind your supposed professional cleaners with some Mr Clean Magic Erasers, same brand all purpose cleaner, Goo gone spray gel and a scrubbing brush and do my own work (cleaning marks of walls and everything else) after wasting my money on you. Also the paperwork clearly says that that the carpet is being replaced if you care to read it now. My after photos that I took look great. Thank you very much!! BEWARE OF OUI CLEAN DMV. Would have saved a whole lot of trouble if you had don't you think? If I supposedly said I was satisfied on the phone call, why would the re-cleaning be needed, that is in YOUR text message. I started complaining from the time that I looked at the results of the vacuuming and the walls THAT NIGHT, per my first text message response (photo attached). Then it got worse when I saw the results in daylight, and I let those complaints be known too. I'm not bad mouthing you, I'm telling the truth of my experience with your company for everyone to see. Please stop lying you're making yourself look worse!! The pictures speak for themselves. You were hired for a job and did not do it satisfactorily, you lied and said that you would make amends, hung up on me and I am letting people know. Over the phone you told me that you were going to add wall cleaning to your services, because it was not there as an add on, don't try to act like it was there all along. I did not decline the re-clean, I accepted it and waited for it to happen. I was told it would happen either 8/20 or 8/21/21 and I never received a call back after I was hung up on. read more

I rarely use cleaning services but I have been so tired and unwell that I needed to seek help. Yesenia was fabulous and literally made my apartment feel brand new. Arrived an hour and a half early, spoke and understood VERY little English. Did not follow instructions. Had to do some things myself after they left. Their failure to clean my bathroom as I had instructed left me with a dangerous situation that took me a long time to remedy. Won't use them again. read more
