After doing a quick yelp search we stopped here on the way home from a road trip. It's about 8 minutes from the main highway (35W). We're glad that we trusted the reviews and took the little detour. We went about 9 on a Friday morning. We were told about it would be about a 15 minute wait. It ended up being about 10 minutes. You have to be in the area to hear your name called (they do have an outside speaker if you're waiting outside)* *I wish they offered a text option for when your table is ready, so we could wait in the vehicle. This is the only suggestion I have for improvement. The restaurant, staff, and food were amazing. I ordered: Biscuits and Gravy plate - comes with any style eggs, and ranch potatoes - the Gravy was a little on the salty side; I eat all the things together - eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy so it balanced out) Side of Avocado Toast - we split this as an appetizer Pineapple Tonic - Delicious, and full of good for you stuff! Man this place was a big disappointment. We ordered takeout for breakfast after camping and not only was everything super low quality, it was overpriced and some of the order was wrong and some was missing. Ordered a Texas skillet with a side of bacon and ice coffee. The over medium eggs on top of skillet had 4-6in long brown hair in it. Israel my waiter was a short haired gentleman very respectful and professional offered to take food back to kitchen and remake. Lost my appetite but attempted and only ate half of returned food. I think there should be a more hygienic approach to the cooks. Whether they wear hair nets or something. And I also think I should've been offered a discount or refund for hair being in my food. Very happening place. Tried to order by phone but they were too busy to answer. Online ordering does not have a lot of option. It is better to just go in and place your order. I got to go order so not sure about customer service for dining in. Not bad wait time with them being busy. We got Tuscan scramble and it is delicious . All ingredients mixed to taste. Come with an appetite because their serving is plenty. Also got chocolate pancake which was tasty and big. English muffin is good. Great little breakfast and lunch spot. The restaurant including the restrooms were very clean. We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Our server was quick to deliver our drinks, tomato juice for me and decaf for my husband, and take our order. There were several good options for breakfast I chose the veggie eggs Benedict accompanied with assorted fresh fruit. The vegetables included roasted mushrooms, sliced tomatoes, artichokes, spinach and asparagus. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband opted for biscuits and gravy with a side of poached eggs, also cooked perfectly. I believe we were in and out of there, in just under an hour which worked for us because we did need to get going. But in no way did we feel rushed. Stumbled upon this place while in town for a girl's day. Most places had a 1-2 hour wait. We were lucky and the wait was only 25 minutes on a Saturday morning. Our server was quick, friendly, and constantly checked on us. The menu had a huge variety. I got the Mediterranean frittata and it did not disappoint! All of our plates were big and had huge serving. We usually love this place. Went a few days ago for breakfast and we were disappointed. The breakfast potatoes were cold. I got a Denver omelette and it had very little filling in it. So we went today for late breakfast early lunch. Greeting at the front was good. Once we got sat down and the high chair was brought over I started noticing how dirty it was. Same for the benches, table and the floors. We got our drink order and when the water came the jar it was brought was dirty and warm. So I gave it back to the waitress and she never returned it back. Wife's French toast was good my meal on the other hand the bacon ham egg skillet for it having so many ingredients it was flavorless the potatoes where under cooked and the sauce was cracking which meant it wasn't done right. Waitress came to table and my plate was on the edge barely touched she asked how it was I shook my head. She should have been more attentive. The cashier also asked and I was like not the best food or service today and she just went silent and gave me my card back. Wife's said as she was walking out another table was complaining about the food not being cooked properly. It's sad to see this places start of so strong and in only one year there standards drop. Wow wow wow ‍ super friendly servers and GREAT FOOD we could tell it was going to be good with how busy it was ! People were waiting outside in the cold ! So glad that we got in when we did ! ‍ as we were eating our food I told my bf and his drummer "definitely worth the wait!" The boys had the Colorado Jack scrambles and I had the pick two option chicken apple walnut half sandwich and a cup of the potato soup we enjoyed our meals so much ! I especially did as I am pregnant right now and had a hankering for potato soup ! It was so so dang good ‍‍‍ the sanwich was delicious too I ate every bite including my honeys little like half biscuit that came with his meals and some breakfast sausage ! the boys cleaned their plates as well they lived that we got a little canister for refills with our drinks and for how busy it was never waited long for our server ! Do not come here if you are in a hurry. We arrived about 11:20 and told a 40 minute wait. We were seated at 12:24. It was very crowded, noisy, and a little cold inside. No vegan options (it's hard to be vegan in Waco, TX), though I did order the berry oatmeal and asked for no milk. Our food took about 18 minutes. No non-dairy creamer options for the coffee. The service is extremely nice and friendly. Worth the wait. The oatmeal I ordered is delicious. My family loved the food! read more

The environment is pleasant. The staff is nice. They continuously asked us if we needed anything but not to the point that it was annoying. The fragrance from the food was delectable, and when you ate it you were embodied with a spectrum of herbs and flavors. The food was not salty, which I prefer. The food was okay, but nothing really special. I had the Avocado and Bacon Scramble. It was supposedly going to come with"pork green chili." Instead, I got a little cup of what tasted like bottled tomatillo sauce. I said something to the waitress and she assured me that it was pork green chili. I was disappointed in that. My husband and I decided to check out this breakfast place before heading back to Ft. Worth due to its high rating. Food was subpar at best. The bacon was wayy to salty, they didn't serve buttermilk pancakes (???), and the floor were an absolute mess. The busser's were barely cleaning the top of the tables and didn't even sweep the floors. There were literally pieces of pancakes, used napkins, and sliced strawberries on the floor. Very shocked no one said anything. All in all wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more
