I love their food and I was greatly disappointed a few weeks ago and posted what I saw that they weren't wearing masks and were lax in cleaning tables but we went by to see if things have changed this Saturday morning I will say every employee was wearing masks and at the door they ask people to put masks on. The food was ok, but not as great as some of the other reviews mention. The restaurant's decor is nice and sophisticated however the tables and chairs were dirty. The service was horrible. We were ignored by our server for 20 minutes. When she finally took our order she acted as if we were a burden to wait on. Don't order online or through any app. Ordered my food online/app about 9 months ago and order was confirmed. Went to go pick and was told it was being worked on by 2 people. After sitting there for 30 mins I asked again and was told they never made my order I ended up waiting 30 more mins for them to make my food I ordered. Today I gave it another shot to order online for pick up and spent about $90. When I got to the restaurant I waited for about 10 mins for someone to help me and when they did the lady said ok it should be coming up. As a sat there and watched she never went to the back to check or even give me any update. I sat again for another 30 mins before someone else helped me. My daughter had gotten married over the weekend and two months prior. We have decided to book the party room at "our brunch spot". Mind you two months ago. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reserved time the room was booked. We spoke with the floor manager. To Let her know that we had a party of approximately 15 people arriving. She did express that they would and I quote take care of us. They did work to accommodate seating for us although it was not what we had reserved. As the brunch continue our server was amazing props to Megan, however, two of the dishes that were ordered arrived late after everybody else had already been plated and had eaten assuming the establishment would try to rectify their mistake, when we received our check and noticed that nothing had been attempted to correct their mistake. I am typically not one to concern myself with things like this however, when we had asked the floor manager about her previous comment of taking care of us we weren't sure exactly what she had meant not that we were looking for a free meal, she did expressed that the owner of the establishment was not willing to provide any sort of discount. We then spoke with the owner and the owner did in fact, say that he was not going to accommodate in anyway and that for us to just pay our bill and leave his establishment with some back-and-forth the owner of the establishment expressed if it will get you to leave I will discount 5%. We did get our 5% and we did leave our service was amazing. The food was good upper management sucked without any regard to his patrons. I feel bad for his staff having to deal with any patrons that may be unhappy with service and or coordination as he's not willing to take any accountability. read more

Hash browns were mushy, omelette had little flavor, even with the chorizo, which was in the egg mixture and not in the omelet. It looked like a big brown something. Biscuit ok. The food is good but they service needs some work. We went this past weekend and for a family of 5 only 3 plates were brought out and then 10 minutes later the waitress brought out the other two. It wasn't her fault but there was definitely miscommunication with the kitchen. We also saw three servers hustling to take care of everyone while 2 boys stood in the back goofing around instead of helping them. I never write reviews, but this was very disappointing. Always excited to try new places, and decided to give Our Brunch Spot a shot. Missed the target. I ordered the Mom's breakfast with bacon egg and pancakes. Asked if it was possible to put pecans in the pancakes, and they did. However, by the time I got butter and syrup (had to get the busboy to get for me, couldn't find our waitress) they were cold and chewy, not good at all. Once we got our order, we didn't see our waitress until check time. I mentioned to her about the pancakes not being what I expected, and she offered to get me something else. By then we had already emptied our water glasses ( never came by with a refill) and my fiancé had already finished his sandwich. I wasn't hungry anymore. I'm all for helping small businesses, but I'm also disappointed that I didn't enjoy my meal. And it seems like it doesn't matter. Unfortunate read more

I was sorely disappointed by our experience at Our Brunch Spot, especially after seeing such positive reviews. We visited this morning (Thurs) and about half the restaurant was empty. It was chaotic trying to get seated, and it went downhill from there. It took a while to get drinks and orders in. My friend and I both ordered the cinnamon roll French toast combo which comes with eggs, bacon and sausage, while our husband's ordered the chicken fried steak meals. We sat for a long time before our food came out, watching the guy who sat down behind us finish his meal and leave before we ever saw our food. Our server was largely absent throughout the entire visit. They brought out our food, and my friend and I were both missing our French toast. They said it was coming, so we started on our eggs and meat, which we both finished before they brought out cinnamon raisin French toast for her only. This is not what she ordered (she hates Raisins) and they said, "oh, they must be out of the cinnamon roll French toast, this is what they do". They never asked her if she would like a substitution. They took it back and said they would bring it regular French toast, and I asked for the same. After about 15 minutes or so, they brought one plate of regular French toast and no syrup. So we decided to split it. As we were finishing they brought 2 more plates of French toast. So if this long after our hubbies has finished their meals. Overall the food was good. Our over medium eggs were more over ready, and the sausage was dry, but the chicken fried steaks were a hit with the boys, bacon was tasty and the French toast when it finally arrived was delicious. Overall I wouldn't come back. Came here with my mom and sister and they liked the biscuits and gravy and the pancakes, I however did NOT like my California toast. When you read the description of the toast it sounds so good, smashed avocado, tomato, sliced red onion, feta cheese, and two eggs anyway you want them.... when it came out it was a total disappointment. There was two slices of toast, the avocado was sliced in chunky slices, the tomato was not good at all, one of those mostly white/yellow centered ones, the red onion was about an inch thick, and the feta was in about 5 large chunks that I had to smash with my fork, the eggs were cooked well (I ordered over easy). I didn't even eat the second slice of toast. Then came time to pay, our waitress brought our checks.... they charged for the extra gravy my mom and sister asked for (which the waitress did not tell us would be a extra charge) and they charged my sister extra for her to go coffee, even tho we ordered coffee with our meal (again they did not tell us it would be a upcharge) I would not recommend this place, for the prices you can for sure find much better quality! read more

Multiple charges, for this and that. Second time, ordered a burger...mediocre. KPOP is a million times better! Shoot, a McDonalds home style burger is a thousand times better. My third visit, ordered an omelette again. I hate onions! I hate the flavor and texture. There was a couple in it. I sent it back. As a former employee, if it was possible to put zero I would. The food is all ordered from Sysco restaurant supply making the "scratch kitchen" a complete lie. Hash browns come in a box, the soups and sauces (including hollandaise) are premade and frozen in a bag, the chicken fried steak is prebreaded and frozen along with the chicken strips, the "special water" is just glorified tap water, fries are prepunched and frozen. Going back to my employment, I definitely recommend looking somewhere else like Starwood or 7mile. I was told I would be a kitchen employee but at the time we really needed waiting staff. I agreed to wait tables with little experience and made the best out of it because I was promised I would be put in the kitchen where I was most comfortable and had the most experience. Never happened. I was also forced to come into work the day after my father passed away with cancer, when I didn't come in for obvious reasons I received a message telling me I wasn't very nice when I had been in contact with the owners about my situation. Not to mention a couple times I went to cash my handwritten check I was told the check was unacceptable either because they didn't have the money in the account or something was wrong in the writing of the check. When tax season rolled around let's just say I wasn't too surprised I hadn't received my W-2 so I contacted the owner wondering what was up. He told me they had been mailed but I could come pick it up if I felt like it, but since they had been mailed off, or at least I thought, I didn't see a need. It is now March 18th and I still haven't received my W-2, after some digging around I found out neither have the other employees that helped open the place. There's no way it's just a coincidence that NONE of the 7 of us have received them. When I texted him again asking about it and telling him they should've been mailed out no later than January 31st he replied "LOL. I told you they were mailed and that you could come pick them up", so tell me how can I pick it up if it's been mailed? That tells me they haven't mailed them. So going to apply for a lost w-2 you have to have your check stubs, which weren't attached to a handwritten check leaving me unable to file my taxes. Thanks Our Brunch Spot! Great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the hostess staff doesn't do math well. Upon arrival there were no less than 6 open tables with 4 groups waiting to be seated. Somehow, this equation made for a remarkably long 15-20 minute wait. By the time we were seated, there were 10 tables available and 5 employees at the hostess stand, making the incalculable problem even more difficult for this group to solve. Try harder folks. The restaurant business is precarious and leaving folks to wait when tables are available is not going to work in your favor in the long run. read more

First time going here and I'm truly blown away! I currently live in San Diego and we were in town visiting family and decided to try out this place, it was AMAZING! I wish they had one in SD. I had the veggie omelet and it was cooked perfectly. They serve freshly (literally fresh, the juicer is out so you can see the oranges being squeezed) orange juice. Their buttermilk pancakes are absolutely delicious and I'm a major pancake lover. I really love the simple kids menu items, I feel like it's hard to find a breakfast meal with lots of different things on a plate. My 2 year old loves eggs, bacon, pancakes and this restaurant give the kids that but in proper sizes. It's really convenient and I appreciate that! We tried this place this morning and it was one of the best meals I've had. It's a locally owned place which we love. I got the meat lovers skillet. It was savory and so good. My husband for the French toast meal. I had a bite of his brioche bread French toast and it melted in my mouth. I brought home 1/2 of my skillet. The food came out so quickly and the waitress was attentive and kind. We plan on returning for lunch bc their lunch menu looked good too. You should definitely check this place out. read more
